"Not very easy for Senshi to meet under good circumstances, after all." Flora admitted, giving Perseus a small smile. It was rather gratifying to have someone she knew here fighting by her side... although the Negaverse seemed to be fending off the monsters as well. It reminded her of that fight with the snow woman everyone thought was Serenity.
She leaped backwards, attack fizzling off as she attempted to dodge the monster's tentacles. It wasn't terribly easy, however; Senshi and even a Guardian Cat were getting hit and the next thing she knew, there was a tentacle that threw her backwards.

Maenalus barely had time to breathe a sigh of relief at Zirconia being released before Bog tried to knock Valhalla into her. She didn't manage to get out of the way in time, and instead tried her best to 'catch' or cushion the page. She did see Zirconia fall into the lake and get hit, though. That cat just couldn't keep out of trouble, could she?
She herself only barely managed to dodge the blob's swinging arms by a narrow margin, but there was no time to be thankful. She took the now well-beaten, scratched, and mucky baseball bat and swung at Bog, hoping to finish him off. She was so tired of fighting. Sure it had gotten a little bit easier once the crystal was smashed, at least for a second, but would the fighting ever end?!

Maia smiled at Polaris, "Your welcome. Never a problem," she said before turning back to Zog who was being attacked from all sided. It seemed this one wasn't going down so easy as the rest.
Maia was none to interested in the blob, but the footsteps that shook her form did have her glancing at the thing. She frowned to see the thing seemed to be going berserk arms swinging in every which direction and not only that the arms was headed right for her.
Her frowned deepened and she quickly attempted to dogde the creature hoping that is would hit Sog instead of her.

Unfortunately Maia was not so fortunate as to avoid the arm, and being slimed had her pretty much freaking out as the monsters arm crashed into her. She flailed kicking and wailing at the thing that sent her flying straight into Sog.
Her back hit Sog first followed by a flailing arm and leg. Her front was slimy and she would continue to freak out until she got the majority of it off, so as Sog was in her immediate vicinity, the monster was the one who would be taking the brunt of her frustrations until he knocked her away.
*sorry if I wasn't suppose to roll the battle post immediately after*

This day was turning out to be the worst day ever.
Having taken a break on the sidelines, Carnelian found that, as soon as he turned around, some awful, smelly, no good, very bad Blob just oozed up and gave him a sound bitchslapping. Really, his patience was wearing very, very thin. The corrupted ignored all the other senshi and took up a fallen tree branch to chance the stupid Blob, swinging wildly.
Makayla would either think her boyfriend was on crack, stupid, or had bad pizza before bed when he told her about his day. Actually, he'd probably think this was all a smelly dream. He hoped. Maybe he'd wake up soon.

All things considered, Babylon was feeling pretty good about this. He'd gotten some really good hits on the Blob and it was starting to reel. Victory couldn't be that far off, could it?
"Eat! Baseball! Bat!" he cried, trying to swing again, and was quickly interrupted by a punch to the face from the Blob. The page fell backwards, reeling from the force of the impact.
He now had a mouthful of slime.
Babylon stumbled onto his hands and knees and retched, trying to clear his mouth of the foul lake scum. Man oh man, that was not cool.

Valhalla let out a sigh of relief when the creature let go of Zirconia, but he didn't have time to worry about her as he would have liked, having been knocked, instead right into Maenalus with a wince.
"Sorry," he quickly apologized, grabbing onto her shoulder as she tried to catch him, wanting to make sure she didn't topple over because of him. Of course, now he had to worry about the monster's arms as it spun.
He was thankful to his time training to play baseball, ducking out of the way when the monster's arms flailed about. He was one of the lucky few to have missed being hit, though, and he quickly ran over to see if Zirconia and Babylon were okay. Although... he left the other knight alone for a little to give him a bit of, uh, privacy.
"You okay? He asked after a few moments, going over to him to try and get him to stand up again, before looking around for Zirconia. s**t... where did she go??

His mouth seemed to be cleared out now. Babylon stumbled to his feet and made his way over to Maenalus and Valhalla, who were as good as any port in a storm like this. "Okay," he gasped, wiping his mouth on his sleeve. "That creature is foul."
There were not enough expletives to describe the taste, so he didn't even bother.
As the Blob spun towards them, Babylon took a step in front of his unarmed new friends. (They owed him for this later, putting his taste buds on the line like this, not to mention his life.) He readied the bat.
"Batter up, eh?" he asked.
Eh batter batter, SWING.
And basically, he missed almost completely.

Not cool, not cool, not cool. The three lake monsters seemed as if they could be taken care of relatively easily – one gone, one on its last leg, the other well on its way to being beaten – but the blob monster was another story. Ganymede didn’t want to draw too close to it if he could help it, but more and more he was beginning to realize that approaching it at some point was going to be necessary. As much as he hated to use it, he almost wished he had better magic, something that could be used as more than just a distraction, something that could actually do some real damage.
As the blob continued to cause havoc, Ganymede saw its wildly swinging arms out of the corner of his eye. He was unsure whether to try jumping over them or ducking, and eventually settled on lowering himself as far to the ground as possible.
Lucky for him, he made it down just in time, and heard the arm whistle right over his head.
The thing sure was gross, but he was still feeling pretty good about this. Comparatively speaking, of course. He kept telling himself things could always be worse.
His expression became one of a mix of disgust and satisfaction, and Ganymede moved to regroup with Valhalla, Babylon and Maenalus. "Considering all we've had to do tonight, I think this is going pretty well," he announced, lacking his usual pessimism.

Sailor Juno, Sailor Polaris
Juno's placement laying across the ground trying to stop the stars in front of her eyes saved her from the wild flailing of the big Blob beast. But she could certainly hear him! Attacks were flying left and right, people were shouting things, and all she saw was a blur of blue and white.. and then green when she finally tried to sit up.
She might have missed the flailing appendages.. but she could still hear the crunching and smashing as the thing ran over and obliterated things left and right. She did not really want to be a pancake today! Grasping Hypnos' hand she began to crawl on her knees away from the monster, trying to drag the other little senshi along with her.
Ow ow ow! Her fall had sent pain ripping through her body. But atleast as she writhed on the ground, trying to collect herself the flailing Blob missed hitting her.
With a groan Polaris lifted herself, debating who to attack next and how. She had used her eternal attack once already.. her super one twice... But with that surge of power she'd received... she probably had atleast one more left. Could she handle a super one though or would it have to be her weaker and more chaotic attack?

Valhalla turned and watched in relief as Ganymede managed to get away from the Blob unharmed. Although, he did let out a breath of half-hearted amusement at the senshi's comment. "No kidding...?" he wondered, "Let's try not to jinx ourselves." The last thing they needed was a bunch more monsters to attack... or even worse...
He made a face at Babylon's attempt at hitting the Blob, shaking his head in exasperation. At least the guy was trying, right?
"Let's try to get rid of this guy over here," Valhalla suggested to Ganymede, nodding at Bog. The monster looked like it was on its last leg... just another hit or two and it would be finished. Maenalus had already attacked it, so it shouldn't be too much more now, right?
The knight ran forward again, doing as he did before and jumping into the air to give the creature a quick kick to the back of its head, hoping to take it down. He'd punch it, but he was trying to save his arms from damage as much as possible. He would still like to play baseball once all this was over.
Hmm... he should probably give Babylon a little break, Valhalla thought as he landed back on the ground after barely touching the monster. Maybe no one noticed...?

Captain Painite was perhaps a bit too close to the blob monster. By having to stab it with her javelin, she had gotten within steps of it. So when they senshi used her awful magic Painite could not only sympathize with the beast, but also ended up directly in its line of attack.
The arm slammed into her gut without her having a moment to defend or teleport out of the way. She dropped like a stone from the jarring hit, only managing to keep from flying away because she was still gripping the javelin that was stuck in it.
So she hit the floor near what should be its feet and did not move. Painite was exhausted, so maybe the nap would do her good. If she didn't get herself squashed in the process.

Sailor Polaris finally settled on the smaller Sog monster. The big Blob was probably more dangerous, but it also had more senshi already scrambling to attack it. And besides.. Sog was busy flinging her boyfriend around like a kite. He'd come to her rescue so it only fit that she come to his.
In fear of failing if she tried to use her powers again too quickly she instead lifted her trashcan lid once more, crouching and running at the spinning monster. When she was near enough she let her arms swing like she was aiming at a pinata, eyes squeezed tightly shut.
