Sobbing, but not quite knowing or even understanding why, Vera kept her spot in front of her window. She always kept it slightly open for this sort of thing, a simple charm removing the magical block that kept just anyone from opening it and coming in. Sliding the glass, Vera perched on the sill just long enough to take her wings back in, sniffing as she gave the slight shudder as usual, though it was more pronounced due to stress and slipping control. That done, Vera immediately sat on her bed, laying down and tiredly hugging a pillow to herself, wishing she HAD given in to the want of stuffed animals. But why when she had... So alone...is that it, do I still feel a freak? Oh, gods...I hope Baihu isn't tearing into that guy because I started crying. Oh mannnn, I've really screwed this up, why'd I even talk like that anyways? she wondered. A scratching at the door, and Vera moved to let Ryuu in before locking the door again, though her window was wide open. Her back ached, tense muscles not good for a flight, but Vera was able to calm down a bit while stroking Ryuu's head as the giant cat purred to help reassure her. Laying her cheek in between his ears, laying down alongside him, Vera wrapped her slender arms around the mountain lion's body; he was basically like a teddy bear to her. She stayed that way, looking asleep though she was wide awak, face bothered and sad. Have I really become that paranoid, that untrusting? Why? Is it just...I'm tired of secrets? That must be it, too many surprises at once. Why, WHY??OoC

The man who loved Vera the most popped through the window. He had heard her sobs come out and he was not going to just let her cry. The man had returned to being a tiger and he chose the appearance of being a cub. He then used his wind powers to move through the window and landed on Vera's bed. He let out a kitten like meow to get her attention.

Vera didn't move immediately, eyes closed as if asleep though Ryuu raised his head and pushed himself up a bit as he looked at Baihu. That prompted Vera to open her eyes, and she held a hand over her mouth as if terrified her fiancé had seen the closest the half-elf had been to a serious breakdown. Unable to help a smile at Baihu...he was just so darn cute!...Vera sat up and hugged the cub to her gently. "Thank you..." she murmured to his small football-sized head, arms around the tiger like a teddybear but not too close as Vera rubbed her cheek. "I love your fur...it's so soft, and smells like mountains."OoC

Baihu let out a meow like a kitten that was possibly yawning. He then acted like a kitten and sniffed her before licking her check. He wanted her to cheer up. He didn't like to see her cry and he was really going to always be there for her. That was his job as her future husband.

"I know, I know...I'm being silly, aren't I? Breaking down at something so little like this..." Vera commented, scratching Baihu under the chin and smiling as he mewed. She couldn't help it, it was cute. "Oooh~, bit mean Mr. Tiger's being so adorable....~" she chuckled, holding her long hands alongside her fuzzy fiancé's face and rubbing noses with him. Still looking a bit sad in the eyes, Vera nonetheless giggled as Baihu licked the tears from her cheek, calming down as she hugged and petted Baihu, just calmer around cats in general. "Can you imagine people's looks if I walked around carrying you?" Vera snickered behind a hand, though she seemed to have cheered up a bit. "Thank you," she murmured again, nose deep in his fur as Vera kissed Baihu's head. Touching her forehead to his and closing her tired eyes into a calm expression, Vera looked asleep with her hands at the sides of his face before a small grumble came out. Vera's eyes opened and moved to slightly cross at him. "Lunchtime...I don't have many different kinds of teas, but we'll find something." Picking Baihu up and carefully cradling him close to her body, Vera seemed to enjoy him even more as a cub, petting him and not really willing to put down the oh-so-fuzzy and oh-so-cute Baihu down.OoC

Baihu wasn't sure if he should answer her. He could talk in the form he was now, but it would be his normal voice and that wasn't so cute. He started to nuzzle her chest. Rubbing his cheeks against her breast. He'd have to admit that it was his favorite part of a woman after her eyes.

Giving a surprised noise, Vera felt herself reacting along with a blush, and held the...to her...deviously smiling Baihu at arm's length. "Hey! That's not so nice, mister..." Eyes wide and still shocked as she said this with extremely red cheeks, Vera just held him there like some perfectly horizontal Simba in her hands as the half-elf half-glared half-laughed at Baihu with her eyes. "Can't you wait for such, um...endeavors...during, AFTER I mean, the wedding?" Still bright red, vera's ears had moved back a bit in discomfort, mobile and similar in shape to a dragon's ears more than the normal more human-like pointed ears of most elves. "Please? I realize it's not fair for me to get all the fun, but, um..." Still extremely embarrassed, Vera nonetheless brought Baihu close to her body again and supported him so he wouldn't keep hanging uncomfortably from the armpits. "Oh wow...I dunno what I could do to be fair and give back to you. It's still kind of strange," Vera murmured, almost sounding unhappy though she was merely pensive. Mostly. She still wasn't quite sure how to react what would have almost been considered a grope...by cheek rub...as Vera shifted Baihu into a sort of hold along one arm with her hand under his chest as Vera's free one pulled out her teas and a glance at the kettle started it warming without using the stove. Her embarrasment...and yes, some not-quite-angry annoyance...fueled the "spell" and the water heated quickly. "So...what do you want?" she asked, gesturing to the tea and trying to sound calm. "Er...can you speak as a tiger...?" Vera hadn't really thought about that...OoC

The tiger cub nodded. He could speak. It would however be a his normal voice. "Green." He told her moving his cat lips. It was clear that he was speaking fine. He then lifted his paws up and make movement like he was after something floating near him.

Vera loked down at Baihu with a weird sort of bemused/amused expression, shifting her arm so the cub wouldn't fall as he played with something in the air like there were bugs. Looking at her options, Vera picked the closest she had to green tea, and also grabbed a chamomile for herself. They were all bags, but Vera liked them so got them. Just, not the tea as much...she had actually gotten that for any of her dragon family, particularly Scythle. For the most part Vera was calm, though after setting the tea bags into mugs and waiting for the water to cool down just a bit from boiling, the half-elf shifted her arms around Baihu to keep holding him like a teddybear except she still supported his weight instead of just holding him like a stuffed toy. Her silvery hair fell down her face as Vera rested her chin on Baihu's head, quiet without being particularly melancholy. Just...pensive, serious. She set the tea to steep and finally set Baihu down carefully on the floor and took the mugs to the table, leaving for her room and grabbing a crossword to work on...maybe with Baihu.OoC

Baihu wasn't going to let her go too easy. He walked over to her legs and started to rub his body back and forth. He even added in purring sounds. He was kind of like a pet cat that did that in order to trip it's master or something.

Actually almost tripping over her fiancee, Vera aimed pursed lips down at him as she gracefully recovered, tea from one of the mugs sloshing over to make a slight burn on her hand. Not giving it any attention, Vera just scrunched her nose unhappily as she placed the mugs on the table and turned to Baihu with hands on her hips and a resigned expression on her face. "I appreciate the concern and loving, but, Ozora..." she stooped to pick him up, holding him Simba-style facing her, "...please try not to do that when I'm carrying stuff that would make a mess if I dropped it. What would happen if you got a shard of glass up your paw?" Sighing, Vera snuggled with Baihu a bit before setting him down in the chair with his tea, sitting in the other one and sipping from her own mug without worrying about the bright pink burn on her hand. It paled, slowly healing but also visibly doing so against her pale skin, the water still too hot for normal consumption though Vera had tried to pay attention; she had let it heat too long, paying attention to Baihu.OoC

Baihu's ears went flat as he had messed up in making his bride happy. He was easy to read in this form. She then sat at his seat until Vera joined him at the table the cat when put his paws up on the table and pulled himself up so he was standing on his hind paws and licking up his tea. He hoped that the woman didn't mind because he didn't want to turn back into his human form. It would have been annoying.

Eyes slightly unfocused in deep thought, Vera set the mug down and gave a sigh, quirking her lips up slightly at Baihu. She stretched out her burned hand and just held it on his head for a moment. She played with an ear for a little bit, her thumb very gentle on the inner skin and probably tickling with the slight brush against the widely-spaced inner ear fur. A quick teasing...gentle...squeeze of the ear together, and her soft touch ran down Baihu's cheek to scratch gently under his chin, carefully done on the bone to be more gentle as he swallowed. Then Vera's hand just lay on top of her fiancé's head, fingers deep in the fur as the half-elf just enjoyed the "baby" soft fur. Leaning back, Vera didn't seem to realize if Baihu had been bipedal, she had just done some very intimate and sensual touching. It honestly didn't occur to the half-elf it'd be possibly taken that way. Right now, Baihu was a cat, and Vera loved cats. So she felt more...herself, around Baihu as a tiger. And of course, cubs were extra cuteness. When he was done with his tea, Vera took Baihu from his seat after making sure it was okay, and carried him to her room. Laying down on the bed, Vera cuddled with Baihu a bit, but didn't squeeze like she would Ryuu, who curled up against her back. Vera just lay there, absently petting Baihu's fuzzy self, letting the feel of his fur soothe her as the half-elf fell asleep.OoC
