J'Radd

"Standing up for you? Did you hear that?" J'Radd was surprised, even more so by the fact that he'd failed to notice Viconia in the mess hall.

"Yes, I did. I was about to enter the mess hall when she asked why you bought me here in the first place. I heard everything. But anyways, let's talk about something more pleasant perhaps?" Viconia asked him, wonder what to ask or say next to him.


(Something...)

"That is true, today would be a good day for traveling for that matter. A merry festival of some sort to go to would be nice on a day like this. "Viconia said back to him, a sad smile on her face as if there had been one to go to today, she shouldn't go as Iapetos's goons were still looking high and low for her, even if she went in a costume of some sort.

Then a thought came to her mind and it would be something positive that the two could do."One thing that I'm thankful for is to be wearing regular clothes again after having to wear those trappings of the court or the harem. Anyways, it was been thirty-four years since I held a weapon in my hands for the obvious reasons. My dagger and sword fighting skills need practice since it been so long. Is there any extra daggers or a sword I can borrow until I can get ones of my own by chance?"Viconia asked J'Radd, hoping that it would be possible for to carry a weapon on her person again.

"Aye, I was a temple maiden in the past but that doesn't keep a father from teaching his daughter the basic fighting and or hunting skills. I do prefer daggers and a well made bow over a sword though. One dagger would be enough if there is one available for me to use. " She said back to him with a grin on her face after seeing how surprised J'Radd was at her request.

"My father did try his best to teach me to become a warrior like him but I am a healer firstly and foremost. I was at the temple as temple maiden, training in the healing arts, magical and non-magical." She said to him before continuing. "I do know how to defend myself for the most part; there are times that no one could be prepared for." She said to him, trying not to think about that day the most of all.

"With not knowing how long I'll be here, I thought that when my healing services aren't needed, perhaps some weapons training would be in order. What do you think J'Radd? " She asked him, wondering what he thought on that. At least the training would keep her mind off some things.....

Kora looked up when she heard someone speaking to her. She hadn't been expecting to be Louis of all people."Oh, in a way yes. I was taking out my frustration out on the dummy as you can see."She said back to him, wondering who he heard about it from. "I simply asked why J'Radd brought Viconia here in the first place and said that some people here might have the thought of turning her back in for the bounty on her head to help fund the rebellion and J'Radd just went off his rocker at me. I wasn't expecting him to respond so strongly about it...."She told him, wanting to forget about it and not talk to Louis about it, tired of talking about Viconia period....

Kora listened to what he said before responding back."I don't necessarily want to do that per say. If I had had that thought, someone else is going to think the same thing Louis. So you may have to deal with others on that topic."She said back to him, not wanting to admit the woman gets on her nerves and possibly a little jealous of the attention that Viconia was getting."Viconia just rubs me in a wrong way I suppose."She told him, wanting to forget and tired of talking about Viconia still."Is there anything other business that coming up soon that needs to be discussed?"

"Ha! Well he usually doesn't but this morning we did."She said back to him with a light chuckle."Well, I'll see how he will fit in with the rest of my troop. I think he will be a good fit though. When will my troop have another mission?"She asked him as it has been a while since her troop had been out on a mission.
