Klyde didn't understand what was going on. There was a white hot pain radiating from his middle like a fire that threatened to burn him alive(well undead) from the inside out. Gasping for air like it might be his only saving grace Klyde fell to his side clutching her arms around his stomach.
He hadn't really experienced anything like this before. He could easily say it was worse than any beating he had received. "W...what's happening?" He struggled to say. It seemed like Desmond was suffering from the same affliction. Was there something wrong with the blood? Even if it had gone 'bad' it shouldn't effect them this way.
It came as no surprise that not long after Klyde had hit the ground some of the contents of his stomach had come up, coating the floor of the bus in a pool of crimson. Now it looked like someone had been murdered during their vacation....
Mitsu had been watching over Shun quietly when the lights suddenly went out. Wide eyed she placed a hand on Shun's arm looking about for sudden danger. Something about the lights going out so suddenly had spooked her or maybe it was the feeling of malicious intent she was picking up from somewhere. Either way the wolf girl was on edge not sure what to do if there was someone here. Would Suto have actually sent someone after them to mess with their heads? It had her worried, she wasn't sure where Desmond was so she would have to protect Shun on her own.
Neko's eyes had quickly adjusted to the light change, his icy blue orbs reflecting what little light there was making them nearly glow against the darkness. He flinched a little when Blade lit the fireball in his hand, but continued to look around not sure what happened. "Maybe a fuse blew." Though with as upscale as this place was he would hope that wouldn't be an issue.
"I guess I'll find the fuse box real quick and see if that's the problem. You kids st-" Neko went silent having heard a noise. Maybe the others were moving around the house though he had heard no one call out. That was strange.
Lenny had made his way inside the house as quietly as his footsteps would take him. He had come to the kitchen door crouching down low and peeking around the corner only slightly. Just enough to get an idea of where everyone was. When he had a pretty good idea he grabbed for the small hand held grappling hook at his side.
Moving around the corner in a rush he tried to spring on Blade, his hand already charged with electricity. He tried to ram that hand into the boy's back, the power of the blast not powerful enough to kill him but be very similar to that of a stun gun.

As could be expected, Shun didn't react at all to the sudden blackout. His hand twitched a bit as Mitsu placed her hand on his arm, but it still didn't seem like he was about to wake up soon.
Keeping the fireball at hand, Blade looked around in the darkness, still a bit on edge even with what Neko had said. It could simply be a blown fuse, but it could be something considerably worse too. The thief turned towards Neko as he suddenly stopped speaking. He must have heard something.
Looking around, he heard something coming from behind. However, he didn't get much of a chance to turn around as he suddenly felt a wave of electricity coursing through his body.
Letting out a sharp cry, the fireball went out and he was quick to drop to the floor.

Desmond's mind sought out the answer to this inexplicable pain he felt, almost immediately losing his lunch when Klyde did. If it didn't look bad before, it certainly did now.
Clutching his stomach and curling up, his breathing became heavy. Why did it burn so bad?
All the sudden, the thought struck him...
Burning...
"Holy water!" He practically screeched, coughing up the remnants of his lunch. That probably meant Shun's sickness was no accident... And something bad was likely happening inside.
Weakly, the vampire tried to start crawling towards the door... Though it was obvious he wasn't getting far. "We gotta... Get back inside..."
Kohaku's eyes widened to the size of saucers as she watched Blade fall, her legs frozen in place from the shock. She wanted to open her mouth and scream, but that would obviously get her nowhere. Instead, her eyes fell on the assailant as she slowly started to back up.
When Riyo heard the cry of pain from the kitchen, she was quick to her feet, though quiet to move. There would be no point in bum-rushing into the kitchen if there was indeed somebody else in the house.
Instead, she crept towards the room Mitsu was in, intent on stuffing the girl somewhere safe so she could assess the situation.
"Mitsu." She said quietly as she shut the door behind her. "Get under the bed... I think someone's here."

"H-Holy water?" Klyde questioned before coughing up more blood. ********, they couldn't even relax a day before s**t started to happen? Trying to follow Desmond's lead, Klyde started to crawl along the floor to the door but ended up curling up again as the pain began to worsen. His body felt hot which was unusual and uncomfortable, not to mention the shooting pain.
Neko's eyes flared open when he saw the assailant come into the kitchen, far to late to help Blade from being attacked. The feline had just started to raise an arm, dark energy gathering around him when he heard the sound of zipping wire and felt something cold pierce his abdomen.
Making a startled sound of protest Neko was able to look down in time to see a grappling hook claw latched onto his stomach like some sort of leech before there was a strong jolt of electricity coursing through his body. Letting out a cry of his own the feline dropped to the ground, his limbs refusing to do anything other than twitch.
Once Lenny had laid out the two men in the kitchen his eyes turned to Kohaku. The electricity continued to spark about his body giving bursts of light around his person as he stepped toward her hand raising up toward her head. "If you stay still I promise this won't hurt."
Mitsu's eyes grew wide as Riyo came creeping into the room her ears picking up noises from the kitchen down the hall. "I...I can't. I have to watch Shun." She couldn't just leave him laying in bed undefended.

Desmond didn't make it far before he too felt the excruciating pain make him freeze.
"NNGH!" He cried out, recoiling quickly.
"I... I c-can't stop..." He cried, a shaking hand reaching out to pull him farther. "Gotta... S... Save her..." The feeling of uselessness slowly seeping in again. He wasn't sure which was worse. The physical or mental pain.
Kohaku's eyes fell to Neko as she saw the grappling hook penetrate his being, unable to comprehend what she was seeing. Oh God... Was he dead?!
And then... He was coming after her.
Kohaku's small, fragile body shook like a leaf as she began taking steps back, head shaking slowly. It was obvious the girl was new to such imagery, unsure of how to really respond.
Immediately, she turned to run as fast as her little legs could carry. Maybe she could find the vampires! Surely they could handle this...
Riyo appeared to become furious when Mitsu refused, giving the girl a glare she'd never once dared to use before.
"For the love of-" Riyo started, looking inbetween Shun and Mitsu, then finally settling on the assassin. Still attempting to be quiet, she moved to his bedside and lifted the boy up, doing her best to -carefully- stuff him under the bed.
Once she was done, she turned back to her friend. "Now you get under this goddamn bed and don't make a peep no matter what you hear, okay?"
It wasn't that she was mad at Mitsu. She was mad at the situation as a whole. Even her vacations were ruined by 'unexpected' things happening.
Where were Klyde and Desmond? Why weren't they beating whoever it was to a pulp? It scared her to think of what the answer was.
But instead of letting her fear get the best of her, the feline slowly approached the door again and concentrated, a black ooze seeping from her hands and crawling under the door.
On the other side, one of her creatures took form, raising up from the ground with glowing eyes and droplets of drool falling from it's over sized mouth. Slowly, it crept towards the noise, intent on ripping the disturbance limb from limb.

Klyde was struggling too, he needed to get inside. Considering this had happened no doubt someone wanted them out of the way. Mustering up what strength he could, Klyde pulled himself into a semi sitting position though the pain was almost crippling at this ******** going to kill and drain whoever the ******** is responsible...." Klyde growled, his fingers digging into the upholstery of the seats as another flash of pain shot through his body. "Gah!"
Lenny watched with interest as the girl tried to make a run for it. Retracting his grappling hook, jerking Neko's body in the process, it shot it out toward the girl trying to wrap the wire around her legs to take her feet out from under her. At the same time he sent a jolt of electricity through it trying to neutralize her so that he could move on to his true targets.
The glare that Riyo had shot her made Mitsu cower back her eyes growing wide. Riyo had never looked at her that way before and it had the fur on her tail bristling with fear. Cautiously she watched as the feline moved Shun and stuffed him under the bed.
Mitsu could only nod when Riyo demanded she get under the bed and was quick to crawl under it, huddling close to Shun and keeping an eye on the door. "S..shun." She whispered as she got close to his face, trying to stir him awake. If anything happened...if she wasn't able to protect him, she didn't want him to be asleep and defenseless.

"M-mitsu..." Was all Desmond was able to mumble as he managed to flop himself out of the bus, a scream of pain shortly following. At least it wasn't day, or else this little trip would be more than excruciating.
Unfortunately, it was also obvious that Kohaku had never had any training in the ways of dodging, because she went down like a sack of potatoes.
The pain was a cruel reminder of her condition, as there was only the sound of air escaping her body when she opened her mouth to scream. And just like that, she was out of the game.
Turning the corner into the kitchen, the creature's tiny eyes stared at the intruder, making Riyo bite her nail as she made out the vague figure through it's eyes. Oh God. Her friends were laying on the ground. Even Neko!
W-what had he done to them?!
Without a second thought, the silent command to kill went out, making the creature lunge out at the intruder, intent on biting into something.

As he was moved under the bed, Shun shifted a bit, but was still out for the most part.
"Nnng...Mitsu..." he groaned, stirring lightly from Mitsu's efforts. He was still fairly feverish so most likely it'd take a little more before he'd come around completely.

"D...Desmond.." Klyde cringed a bit not only in pain but from watching his cousin go stumbling out of the bus. He couldn't only hope Riyo was fairing better than they were. She was strong right? She could take care of herself....god he hoped so.
Dragging his way to the door Klyde tried to see how his cousin was doing. The scream of pain hadn't been very reassuring, but just as he was about to open his mouth his vision closed in around him. "********..." Clutching at his chest for a moment the vampire went suddenly limp his body crashing against the steps leading up into the bus. That's where he lay, still as the dead, his body sprawled out along the stairs.
Lenny had turned from the girl after she was neutralized, ready to move throughout the house to find his victims. It was when he was facing the door that he saw a shadow lunging toward him and found himself suddenly on guard for attack. His body jolted with electricity to fend off the attacker but not before the cat managed to sink teeth into his leg. With a growl of pain the man intensified the energy coursing through him hoping to just fry whatever was attacking him. With this effort the very air around him began to spark, static rising in the air as the particle matter began to move.
Mitsu's frown deepened when she hadn't really been able to stir Shun from his sleep. She knew he was sick but now was not the time to rest. "S..Shun." Placing her hands on his chest she shook his a little hoping to bring him around this time. "Shun wake up.....please wake up." She whispered in her panic.

"...little longer.. love.." he mumbled while shifting under the bed. Shun was starting to come around, slowly. He was conscious enough to roll over onto his side, facing the girl more with his arm resting lightly against her.

Desmond tried to continue struggling on. He tried so hard to reach out and grab at something that would pull him the rest of the way to the house...
But all that surrounded him was sand. Liquid-like sand that would get him nowhere. "... Mitsu..." He tried to call out again before he too gave into the pain and fell unconscious.
"SHHHHHHHH." Riyo practically hissed at the two under the bed as she tried to concentrate, though it was all for naught.
As the creature bit into the intruder's leg, the electricity the man exuded caused it to explode, leaving droplets of ooze all over the room.
The sudden explosion caused Riyo to gasp and step back, her arms shaking slightly.
She'd never dealt with electricity, besides curiously sticking a finger in a socket when she was young. How the ******** did she deal with this?
Immediately, she locked the door and pushed a chair up against it to give her a little time to think.
"How the ******** do I deal with electricity?" She mumbled to herself, practically pulling her hair out in thought. What's a good short for electricity?
Maybe... What if she splashed him with water? Yes! Maybe that would work!
... Where would she get water? Riyo was stuck in here... <********>

Once the cat creature was disposed of, Lenny let out a low growl. It must have been from the girl Tessa had warned him about. Now that there were only two people left in the house even remotely mobile, Lenny began to move along with a bit more leisure, though his step had a bit of a limp.
"Here kitty kitty kitty," He said lowly peeking into doors as he came to them. It was when he came to a door that was jammed shut that he smiled. "Better be careful, I may huff and puff and blow the door down." He mused his hand touching the wooden structure. While the wood didn't really conduct electricity like other materials it would still heat up after a bit of exposure.
His hand caressing the door with a light touch it was easy to see the bolts jumping about his body. Some even traveled to the nearby doorknob in large sparks before dancing back. It didn't take much before a small flame had started where his hand had touched moving down the center of the door to weaken it. He really didn't want to burn the house down while he was conducting his business. That could be a nice finishing touch though.
Mitsu's eyes widened her face paling when Shun called her love. Or at least she assumed he was calling her love she was the only other person under he bed...and he had just muttered her name. She was in such a shock that she didn't move again until she heard a voice out in the hall.
Letting out a squeak she clutched Shun's shirt looking out under the bed seeing the shadow looming under the doorway. The man didn't sound familiar, why was he here? What did he want? What had happened to the others? "Desmond...." Her voice was teary now, not sure what had happened to her boyfriend. Surely he wouldn't have let this man just waltz in to hurt them...what had he done to them?

Shun was still stirring some, and he groaned lowly again and his right eye started to open. His mind was still rather clouded from the fever, so even when it was completely opened, it was taking him a moment or so to register things. The first thing he noticed was that he was right next to a Mitsu who was huddling into him.
'Desmond....'
With his eye widening at hearing this, his heart quickly began to sank as the next thing that dawned on him was that he was back to reality. Dreams really never did last long enough..
That and... he was on the floor? Where the hell was he? Why did he feel like s**t? ... Who was that voice just now?
"What..." he began to murmur, trying to make sense of what was going on.

Riyo heard him calling... And she could only assume it wasn't for Tim.
... It was for her.
Eyes widening, her ears twitched at every footstep, breathing starting to slow as he got ever closer.
Why was this stranger after her head? Was it because of her father? It was always a possibility..
"s**t.." She muttered under her breath as she saw the sparks on the doorknob, her mind working a mile a minute for a good idea. There honestly were no good ideas, just ones that may buy her a little bit of time.
Gathering more ooze, Riyo covered one of her arms in black. If she could surprise him before he got in... Then maybe she'd have an advantage. She could only guess that he was trying to weaken the door, considering the sparks flying off of the knob. He was no idiot, which meant he was probably trying to set the door on fire.
... While everything else in the house was probably expensive, the doors were rather flimsy, so it wouldn't take long...
Winding back her arm with a sneer, Riyo gathered all her strength to punch through the door, hoping with all her heart that she socked him a good one before the liquid was shocked right off her skin and she started to feel it.

The tears starting to gather in her eyes, Mitsu tilted her head up when she heard Shun speak again. Carefully she placed a hand over his mouth shaking her head. They needed to be quiet now, there was someone close.
Lenny had made it about mid-way down the door when Riyo had come bursting through it. While he expected some sort of attack he didn't anticipate her coming crashing through the door at full force. The door splintered outward toward him and he soon felt the full force of her fist in his chest. The power behind the punch sent him backward into the adjacent wall of the hallway, though the energy was still coursing through his person. No doubt she had gotten a bit of a shock.
Trying to gather himself quickly the man let out a growl placing a hand over his chest. ******** that had hurt. The mere force of her attack felt like it had threatened to cave his chest in. He wouldn't be surprised if a few of his ribs were cracked from the experience. Reaching into his pocket he grabbed for the other syringe Miss Tessa had given him. A paralyzing sedative. Something to keep the feline immobile but still conscious.
Lunging forward doing his best to ignore the pain in his leg and his chest, Lenny brought up both hands, one alight with electricity to stun, the other with the syringe ready to drive it into her neck.
In the kitchen Neko gave another twitch, his eyes suddenly opening. He wasn't able to really move but a quick look around told him the guy that attacked them wasn't here. ********, what had happened? Where was the b*****d. Trying to gain control of his limbs Neko was determined to find out but his body was stiff.
