Bul had been "observing" the paintball match outwards of the arena. Well the best he could do was listen at the chaos ensuing inside. He didn't want to go for the first round especially since he hadn't actually played a real match yet but prepared himself for the next round.

Before the others exited the playing field, the boil grit his teeth and frowned. "Well... we got spanked this round?"

Game done, Calder finally got to see just how close he was to the flag. Just a few steps and he would have had it. He would have had the flag and brought it proudly back to his team, the victor. Sadly, he was the guy shot and checking his phone, saw that everyone seemed okay. At least Riley had been taken out of the game though it didn't mention being shot. How lame.

Pouting, he slowly got up, looking at Barth. "Nice shot." He grumbled, and turned to head back to their side, dragging his gun on the ground.

When he finally managed to get back to the NAP side of the field, taking a pace that seemed better suited for Barth than Calder, he looked up to see Yaya and Sharra. Frowning and eyes getting bigger, he huffed. "I got shot." He mumbled, ears down and tail dragging a trail, lifeless, behind him.

Oh so it was over now. And from the sounds of things they had pretty much been demolished. Jericho. Was. Pissed.

Getting back up to his feet he glanced around and saw that he had walked right past the damn blue flag. That did not help his mood any further. With his fists clenched, he tore off his helmet and threw it at the wall before unleashing a plume of flames at it as well.

The dragon felt that the team, and himself especially, should have been able to do better than that.

Along the way, he was spewing out a long string of loud curses in both english and draconic.

Barth was beginning to think hiding still might be a good idea, even after the fog had cleared. "Err, sorry, good game?" he ventured, smiling nervously at Shehk, then following after Calder. He was more than ready to get rid of his gun and leave the field before anyone thought he'd look good with a few extra welts.

...And possibly get information on what, exactly, this pillows for equipment business was about.

Aaand of course they lost. To a bunch of lazy-asses who had a CLUB FOR NAPPING of all things. Jackdammit. Nevermind that at first that club had looked more appealing to Aksaja than this one. He was in Fitness now, and they should have WON!

I mean, look at who was on their team! Two dragons, Demi, Shehk . . . but then again, Yaya and Sharra had been over there, and he could see them being a problem. Siiiigh. Better luck next time. Because he SO intended to sign up for the next game if he could.

Giddy, the water djinn was down right giddy with the victory. Not only had she not let her handicap weigh her down, but she had actually taken out Jericho and their team had pulled off a landslide victory. It was terribly satisfying, and the irony of it all was not lost on the ghoul.

Upon the lifting of the fog and the forming of the letters above their heads the lass had turned and flung her arms around Sharra's shoulders, pulling him in to press her lips to his. They had won! It felt amazing.

She broke the kiss as she heard the familiar clop of Calder approaching, turning to blink bright blues at the kelpie as he approached, and quite surprised by his rather wilted appearance. Lips parted to ask him whatever could possibly be wrong, but he answered her before the words could form. "Oh, it's ok," she soothed, slipping free of the nergal to take a few limped steps closer to her friend. Catching him up in a hug when he was close enough. "If not for you, we wouldn't have won."

Damien was busy trying to draw his pendant in the ground with the butt of his gun when he saw the signs of the match being done. Fitness lost. Lost to a group wearing pillow armor. He walked off the field with his gun dragging behind him. He felt so ashamed by his performance, didn't bother to look at anyone except the ground before him.

He just wanted to find a corner to sit in as he moved off to the side and hunkered down, and let out a howl.

Riley slid out of the shadows, once the fog lifted. Her tentacles curled up at the ends, tensing in anger. Did her team really just lose? To N.A.P.?

Not just lose.

No.

They got swept.

Riley could hear the roar of her dragon mirroring her rage, and she stormed off in the direction of the Fitness camp, dropping her gun the moment she arrived.

It shot out a single shot, barely missing her foot. She jumped at the sound, but her eyes narrowed immediately after. Then she shoved the tent flap out of the way, and burrowed inside to brood silently.

Shehk snarled at Barth's retreating form, but didn't take the time to actually stalk after the other player. However, her displeasure would be known as she stormed off of the field, still holding the gun. All she'd managed to do in that game because of her damned hesitance was shoot down Calder and then get shot down.

SHE HAD ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING. None the less, she snarled and hissed and kept walking, sitting down off to one side of the field, steepling her fingers and looking off and away off the field, nose crinkled.

"I will have to try again. Failure is not an option." she snarled unhappily. Though it was still likely that gun would meet someone's face if her loss was rubbed in her face.

Venting off like that helped his rage, but the dragon was still seething. Glancing to the side, he saw Riley storm off towards the camp. With a huff, he stomped off after her, leaving his helmet and gun on the ground.

He too threw open the door before flopping down inside, tearing off his armor in the process. Damn useless things. Jack damn nap club with their jacking pillow armor and jacking laziness.

Face down, he let out another huff.

"Please tell me this is some messed up dream," he grumbled towards Riley.

Riley's rage was only strengthened when Jericho came into the tent and flopped at her feet. It took a moment for her to realize that she wasn't doubly mad all of a sudden, but instead she was feeling two persons worth of rage instead of one. As much as the situation warranted it, she felt her blood boiling uncontrollably, and it was uncomfortable. She dropped down to the floor, quickly pulled Jericho around, and wrapped her arms around him.

Funny, this was exactly what she remembered him doing the last time they were playing paintball.

Yes. It is. That was all a bad dream, and we're going to wake up and go play another round, and beat them into the ground. She soothed, trying to take comfort in the warmth the fire dragon emitted.

She didn't want to say it, but she really needed to calm him down. It hurt, being this mad. Two times more than she was used to.

Mistress! Mistress I did it! My team won! Christof mentally cried out as the fog lifted, I shot two people! Did I do well?? He looked around frantically, a look of victory on his face as he jogged through the maze trying to find her, only to spot her sulking off towards her tent.

Oh.

Well, he was proud of himself anyway. Straightening his shoulders, he lurched quietly towards the N.A.P. tent with his fellow victorious.

Being in the tent near Riley only really increased the amount of rage he felt as he was able to feel hers as well. Right now he felt more like a rage or wrath demon more than a dragon but he didn't give a damn. His body was tense and he was practically blinded with the amount of anger he was feeling right now. That was, until he felt her pull him up into a hug.

While he was still tense for awhile, his body slowly relaxed. The hug and her words were quelling the flames within, making it something more manageable to deal with. Yes. Next time, they would be the ones sweeping the ground with the NAP pillows...

Taking in a deep breath, Jericho soon let out a sigh as he wrapped his arms back around Riley to return the gesture.

"We'll pummel them.."

Much better. Riley let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding, and burrowed into him, closing her eyes as peace returned to her mind. But for now, since I get to control when the next game starts.. I think I'm just going to..

Dare she say it?

..take a nap.

If you can't beat 'em..

West had shown up about halfway through the match and had busied himself with getting suited up, at least until the first members of his team began to emerge from the maze. He smiled at them, even though he knew they had lost, and began tunelessly humming a random melody as some of them grumbled their way over to the Fitness Club tent.

So angry.

Sure, it sucked that they had lost right off the bat, but now that he had arrived, that wouldn't be happening anymore.
