Bleh. C'est horrible! You have no idea how much I hate physics. I feel sorry for you! (unless you like physics, but reading a textbook is never fun...)

I'm currently listening to Half Blood Prince, and have just finished reading Forged in Blood 1 by Lindsay Buroker (it's a high fantasy Steampunk novel, and is awesome!).

Re-reading A Game of Thrones (the first book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire). Read it 3+ years ago, but I don't remember much (Only things I remember is from the HBO series) I hope to get trough all 5 books (plus upcoming books), but i find them a lot more difficult to read (than for example Harry Potter, which never bore you). The book goes from being extremely exiting to boring, to exiting again... so I'm not sure if I'll manage to read them all or just move on to something else. smile

I see that many are reading (or have been reading) Cassandra Clare books. I read the first 3 Mortal instrument books (apparently there are more now?) some years ago. I remember that I didn't find them bad, but not really good either. But I am considering re-reading them since there is a movie of the first one coming out soon.

I assume this counts...Fearless Girls, Wise Women & Beloved Sisters: Heroines in Folktales from Around the World. It's an anthology of legends and myths that center on some truly kick-butt ladies. So far a couple of my favorites have been a Gypsy tale called Marichka (short, but you really get the idea that you don't want to cross this one from the actions taken. As the editor/compiler comments, "Marichka is no Hamlet. She never wavers.") and a Causcaus tale called Anait, where a peasant girl marries a prince but is amazingly strong about it, giving certain conditions of equality before she consents. And he agrees with her about them, despite his parents being against the idea, and it saves his life. She also gets to charge in to the rescue on a horse in front of an army and disband a group of slavers on a secret message her husband cunningly sends her.

I'm tired, therefore, I'm rambling. Sorry about that. smile

Covet by J.R. Ward. Great writer for Sci Fi/Action/Romance. I recommend to everyone to read the Black Dagger Brotherhood by her also, I know guys who even like that series. Tons of action/fighting.

I finished City of Ashes...And hated it. I have mixed feelings on whether or not I should just read the 3rd. Eh.

I also read The Maze Runner. It took me awhile to read, but the ending was fantastic. I really want to read the next book.

Now I'm reading Solitary by Travis Thrasher, so far so good!

I haven't been reading as much recently- I'm currently working my way through John Green books- I've read An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, and The Fault in Our Stars. I need to read TFiOS for school (and take note of the themes of Journey and Adventure). Unfortunately, my first read-through was mainly crying my eyes out, so I'll have to reread it. I also need to read The Good Earth for school. I'm waiting for Allegiant, Champion, The Fiery Heart, and a ton of other books to come out. If anyone has any suggestions for any other books for me to read, it would be great if you PMed me.

In response: Have you read The Infernal Devices trilogy? I find them to be better than The Mortal Instruments. Same world (as in Nephilim, Downworlders, The Institute, etc.) but takes place in the 1800's.

Just finished reading the six-book series of Stephen King's the Green Mile and Anne Rice's the Vamplre Lestat. Stephen King has always had good books, and so does Anne Rice. I have yet to read the ebook collection of Animorphs and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series (I only got to read the synopsis of the books in Wikipedia, I have yet to read the books. I have a fictional crush on Lisbeth Salander heart )
