"oh you where kidnapped too? they gassed you causing you to hit your head then stuck you in a darkened locked place then forced you to be on the back of a motercycle when your terrified of them and then where all buddy buddy with you while their friend potentially blead out from a gunshot wound?" she smirks some.

(And now, Yuffie's sad past...)
Yuffie shook her head, jumping back onto her feet. "No...my mama and papa were killed when I was ten. The murderer knocked me out, 'n I woke up, my house was burned down. I don't know how I survived it, though. I lived on the streets for a few years, until Kira found me and brought me to the Headquarters they used at the current time. Against my will, of course. I was taught never to talk to strangers. She basically had to knock me unconscious to force me to go anywhere."
"What, you thought I'd leave you out on the streets where ***** could find 'ya? Hell, even Rande has his limits, no matter how pretty a ten-year-old you were."
Rande ignored that comment.
Yuffie continued. "So, when I woke up, Kira and someone in a black and red cloak were trying to convince Rande not to kill me and to let me join the group. Finally, he replied with a 'Hmph.' I suppose they won the arguement, though, seeing as I'm still alive. So, eight years later, here I am." She smiled, as if it weren't depressing at all to think about such a depressing past.

Rei listened shocked at what Yuffie said. she felt really bad for saying anything now and just looked at the ground thinking. compared to Yuffie, Rei's life was very nice. she had never throught she was actually lucky to have a father so self centered as he was. "I need to go home" she said softly not really talking to anyone. she knew that she was the only way her mother and little sister would not end up on the streets. she knew that her father didn't care about any of them now that he had his son, his heir, the girls where all cast aside because of the new baby. she shakes her head to clear it and looks at Rande. she knew he would need medical attention for the gun shot. "your going to get infected if you dont clean the wound..." she said so rande could hear.

"Hmph. Then let it get infected..I've had worse.." Rande closed his eyes. "Look, if you want to go home, then go while I don't care. Wait too long and you're stuck with us." He really wasn't the one who decided to bring Rei along. He would've just let the police take her back, but thanks to Yuffie...
"To be honest, Rande, I think she's stuck with us anyway." said Yuffie, looking over at him. "I mean, we're pretty far from town.."

She narrowed her eyes at Rande, she couldnt believe she actually thought he was cute. his attitude was very undesirable and she just crossed her arms looking at Yuffie realizing it was true. they where on a very dead highway far from town. she would never make it back to town. she sighs. "there is no way I can get back from here." she hoped they didn't leave her there.
