The hunchback was out of paintballs, judging by the empty clicks of his gun, maddened eyes sweeping across the room back to the approaching kelpie just as his friend made his move. The pillow took him off guard, eyes widening further as he was sent toppling backward, the empty gun skittering across the floor as he landed heavily on his hunch, Calder on top of him.
With a howl, he tried to claw the pillow off, but it was to no avail.
The assailant had finally been apprehended.

wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance THE ASSAILANT IS APPREHENDED!
Barth cleared his throat, smiling and giving Christof a slow clap while navigating through red paint and ruined pillows. He spoke loudly for the benefit of the rest of the room.
"Thank you, Christof. He was um, helping me out, I think. I didn't have anything prepared, training-wise, but that's err...a wonderful exercise. Very err, inventive."
His tone was suddenly meeker.
"I did mention we had a paintball match against the Fitness Club, didn't I? Anyway, I think that's a good, err, note to end on. It's best if we all slink off and avoid clean-up... I mean not do any damage to the Chief Pillow Distributor."Quote: That concludes N.A.P.'s first Official Meeting! Your student can now leave, if they choose to do so, or hang around to wrap RP/try to wrangle information out of Barth. Thanks for coming! We'll notify you of Paintball Match information/updates as the date of the game approaches. Hopefully all N.A.P. Club meetings won't involve horrible welts and assaults from angry Fitness members, but no guarantees.

"What?!" Colette couldn't believe Barth. He was praising Christof? That wasn't helping at all!
Walking over to Barth, the Grim Reaper pointed angrily at the paintball welt on her thigh. "How is this helpful?" she asked him. "Thank Jack Calder stopped him. I have five of these things. FIVE," she said with emphasis. Colette even lifted her tank top enough to just show the three welts on her stomach and pointed at them too. They were safe from paint thanks to her clothing and it was easy to see the damage. She didn't even bother pointing out the blatant spot of red paint on her shoulder.
"I don't want to get shot up with nothing but a pillow for protection." She folded her arms and looked at Barth with frown. She was just a little upset.
....
Only a little.
And concerned about it enough to actually not go kick Christof while he was still on the floor.
"Pillows are useless against that," she said while glancing at the gun on the floor. It was safe to say she didn't really know what a paintball match was, but training was training and she got the idea that what just happened was it.
Furthermore, she couldn't believe what she got herself into. Even if this was in store, she joined to support Barth and his club. What kind of friend would she be if she quit and wasn't there to aid him?

Hit by an unexpected pillow, Mei looked around for the culprit. It was probably just an accident..a pillow thrown at random or something..at least that's what she thought until Tybalt voiced his mock apology. Figured.. Glaring at the Black dog for a moment, the doll returned the pillow, but without any grace. "Stupid mutt.."
The sound of clapping snapped her attention away from the black dog, almost baffled to find out that this was all a training exercise. "Seriously..? All of that..was for an upcoming paint ball fight?" Just----whaaat? Couldn't they have at least supplied them with weapons of their own? Weapons---not pillows!
Whatever.
Shrugging it off, she made a face when attempting to wipe any paint left on her from any attacks that landed a hit on her. "I love red...But this is ridiculous.." Sighing, she waved them off, moving for the exit. "Alright, but next time, I want a gun."

"No. You failed to mention it." Tybalt answered dryly to the sloth demon. Just like he failed to participate in this little 'practice.' Wasn't he supposed to be their captain or something? The least he could do was lend a helping hand, rather than sit on his rump the entire time! What was worse, now they find that they have an upcoming match? Well that was nice to know. Not! He was giving them no time to prepare, or get some REAL practice in. On top of that, how the hell did expect them to practice with pillows!? If anything it was nothing more than a brutal pillow fight. Next time he would prefer a weapon that at least equaled that of their enemy!
"When exactly is this little match?" He asked. His voice only sounding a little snappy. After all, he still wanted to tear the limbs off of that patchwork boil. The only difference now was that a certain sloth demon might be joining that same fate.

Barth looked sympathetically at Colette's welts, trying to concentrate on them instead of her thighs and not doing a very good job of it. He wasn't exactly sure about the success of Christof's training exercise, except that nobody would want to be hit by more paintballs.
"Yes, I think we all learned a very important...immoral, today. Which is that when it comes to being hit by paintballs, it's better to give than receive."
To Mei he said, "Well, I think there's a field, or equipment, or something, somewhere, presumably." He added for Tybalt, "And err, the match is...soonish?" Barth had no idea when the match was.

Even with the Igor down, Calder was still beating him with a pillow. That was until Barth said it was all a training exercise. It seemed the demon had put the Igor up to it, but damn did it piss the kelpie off to no ends to just be ignored like that and then shot in the FACE! Ohh, it was stinging terribly too.
Panting from wanting to tenderize Christof with a pillow, Calder turned. It still looked as if he had been shot in the head with the red paint dribbling down his brow. "The Fitness club has a whole field they were practicing in, with equipment and guns like Christof has. They take their fighting seriously too. Old Noodle Head was barking her entire club as if she was starting an army and each and every one of them were all too eager to salute her. They'd probably jump in acid for her, which means they won't be afraid of some paint marks. They were shooting each other when I was over there and having a fun time doing it." Calder reached up to try and rub the paint from his brow and frowning as it smeared on his jacket. Great.

"Well that helps..." He muttered sarcastically, not all amused by the sloth demon's answer. His mood only darkened more when Calder explained what he had seen.
"Oh great! So they've not only been told about this little match, but they're being trained for it too?" Just how was that fair? If anything the Fitness club had the advantage over them now! "We'll be lucky to survive the first wave of fire..." He grumbled; dusting feathers off himself from abused pillows as he prepared to make his exit.
Yes. This is exactly what he didn't want to hear. He hated losing. He hated fighting a losing battle and that was exactly what they'd be doing if they hadn't been informed about this match. Hopefully they could at least get some practice in before the match, but the black dog had his doubts about that.
"Well! I'm going to try at least practice my dodging skills. Seeing as that's what we'll mostly be doing." He finished with a small grin, before giving the others a small wave and leaving the room.

The battle was over and now Tahki was learning there was to be a paint ball war with another club? The gryphon gulped. The meeting seemed to be over now though and honestly she was finding it hard to relax while being covered in red paint and stray pillow feathers.
So Tahki got up and slipped out as quietly and quickly as she could to get cleaned up.
----------------------------------------------------
Charlie sat up for a moment and held his head. He'd taken a little to many shots to the head from paint balls. Now he wasn't feeling so great. The demon got up and was about to glide over to Calder but the kelpie seemed preoccupied. So instead Charlie followed after Tahki much to her discomfort.

Oh, Fitness Club, it's on. Holly knew a few other students in that club, they'd be her first few targets for when the paintball match happened.
The welts didn't bother her much at all. She was a ghost after all so pain wasn't a bother. But looking at the welts on the others made her shudder. "Those don't look fun at all."
Holly looked at Mei and nodded. "I'm up for guns too. We need to be able to have a proper match, right?" Hearing that they would indeed have more of a fair playing ground she decided it was time to leave. Holly didn't want to be responsible for cleaning up, anything.

Lilith wasn't pleased, but what was new? Her outfit was filthy and her skin was welting from the shots Christof had gotten off with the paintball gun. What part of a good idea did Bartholomew think setting this up and not informing anyone? Getting Lilith's clothes ruined and skin welted with Christof's unwanted surprise certainly wasn't a way to Lilith's heart.
Colette had the right reaction and Lilith gave an unhappy look to the sloth demon. However much the sloth demon thought this was a good training process, there was one thing he was missing. It was quite vital, and he had forgotten all about it. Lilith picked up a paint covered pillow and shoved it into Bartholomew's face paint side forward. "You didn't practice enough," she mentioned before dropping the pillow from her hand and turning her heel as her hands held the hem of her outfit. Ick. It would be ruined if she didn't wash it soon.
"I'm going to go tidy up then," she announced before she left the room to go back to her dorm.

Christof groaned on the floor, still flailing before lurching upward to shove the Kelpie back and off of him with a whine. He was still trembling with adrenalin, and his nose-situation did not help his panting. But... aside from Calder... it seemed no one was trying to kill him- Barth was speaking, distracting them- he... what? A... rehearsal? The hunchback wobbled numbly, nodding enthusiastically to try to play along with the Sloth's story if it meant not being pummeled.
Instinctively he began compulsively collecting pillows, but stopped himself, dropping them to his feet as he wobbled in place. No Masters. Not an Igor.
His head hurt.
But no one was trying to kill him just yet. That was a plus.

The third hit finally snapped Mandy fully awake, pulling her from 'still pleasantly dozy' to 'annoyed and slightly pissed'. Luckily for Christof before she could grab a pillow and actual try to start hurting him now Calder beat her to it.
Grumbling at the state of her clothing she gave Barth a look when he said he thought that had been a training exercise before concluding the meeting. It also would have been nice if he'd told her about this pinball match, but enough people where already chewing him out for it that she stayed silent on that matter.
She had other things to talk about, now that she was awake enough to remember one of her missions for after this meeting.
"Oi, Barth, I've, er, got to talk to you privately after everyones gone, I'll be waiting over here," at this she waved towards one of the few undisturbed piles of pillow left and with a shuffle and a flop she was nestled among them.

Barth couldn't have been more abashed. The minor stirrings of discontentment, alright. The acknowledgement that they were unprepared and would be clobbered in the upcoming match, fine. The paint, and mess, and pillows, he could bear with the piety of a martyr.
Lilith being (probably understandably) upset with him, however, was an entirely different can of worms.
He only had time to spit out red paint and blearily watch her walk away. The rest, alright. But Christof was going to pay for that one.
He heard Mandy distantly, and answered with a distracted, "Hm? Oh, hm," before wandering over that way. People were filing out anyway. His eyes were still on the door where Lilith had left.
"What err, what about?"

Mandy quickly glanced around at the emptying room and decided that, yes alright this was private enough. Only now she wasn't exactly sure how to word her request, how did other beings just do this?
"I was, um, just thinking about clubs, what with us currently being at one, and, um, the whole requirement to join three and, er, well if you're going to be in three why not join ones with stuff you know you'll enjoy which is to say-" Mandy paused realising she'd started to ramble.
"Would you second my Club application for me?"
There simple. And not quite everything but hopefully he would understand.
