Nocturne returned home that night, sore, but grateful she was still in the running.
The following morning she was at the training area, she hiding quickly before the leaders would catch scent of her. She hid in the bushed, deep in the underbrush of the forest.

Iduna bowed to Aegle, before heading home for a well deserved rest. As soon as she returned to the forest, the Valkyrie decided try hiding in a place she hadn't before: Instead of inside a tree, what about it's branches?

When there was only three valks left, it ment only one would get away each round. Aegle knew that this day would go by faster than any other day, because it would be done quickly. They might even have a bit of an afternoon off to rest and reset for the next day! Maybe, just maybe... Both Nocturne and Nightmare were found, though Iduna wasn't that far away from Nightmare when she was swatted!

Nightmare hissed under her breath and her dark eyes caught Iduna hiding not too far off. That valk was lucky, which ment the other of the trio had been caught as well. Time to find a new place. Nightmare ducked out the shadows, and tried to hide in some bushes.

Iduna saw the other Valkyrie getting swatted and climbed down the tree as fast as she could, fearing that Aegle might have spotted her as well. The moment her feet touched the ground, the silver-haired female darted off to a new location.

Nocturne knew that the stakes were higher now and she darted deep in into the trees, hiding on a shadow of a tall tree.

Once again the two that were foun were Nocturne an Nightmare. What would Aegle do if one didn't pull ahead of the other? The valk leader gritted her teeth and hoped that the Goddess would at least favor one of them. She wasn't planning on crowning a leader today, so one had to be chosen over the other!

Nightmare growled under her breath. She had welts along her body where the flats of their blades had struck her, and each one was a testament to her failure. The fact that she was adding another one just pissed her off more. She hissed and tried to find a better hiding spot.

Nocturne was not pleased with this, she was not having a time today, and that bothered her, she whispered a small prayer and darted into a small abandoned den.

Iduna was feeling more confident than before as the sounds of more swatting filled her ears. Sending a small prayer to the Goddess in hopes is still being in her favor, the Valkyrie stayed right where she was, in silence.

Aegle found herself almost nose to nose with Iduna. The valk had run into her leader while tying to hide, and got a smack with a sword in return. Nightmare was found by Kleio once again, and the purple valk earned herself another welt.

Nightmare rubbed her newest welt and didn't even try to count them all. She knew she was in trouble here. She had to hide better! Had to! So neither Kleio or Aegle could find her and only her two sisters would be found. Goddess willing, it would all work out.

Her only warning was a green gaze, before receiving her first tag of the day. Frowning slightly, she ran to the other direction, hoping not to run into Aegle again or Kleio for the matter. Did Iduna really believe she could survive this without a scratch?
