Corvus fluttered onto the floor when he was shooed away by the human. He fluttered about and flew back towards that isolate box that he came out of. Who put him there in the first place? The crow perched onto it before taking off again, trying to find some exit, whether through a window or a door. the small crow eventually found some opening and flew its way outside.
Flying about, the crow had not gone far. He perched onto the roof of a random complex. He began to feel a little weak out at the bright sun shining on his inky feathers. The crow flew to the ground in hopes to find a puddle to splash in. A small puddle was around the area and he dove for it. Crashing a little too hard, the crow cried out as its wing twisted. It stood up, letting the water droplets run down its slick feathers before hopping around, trying to find its way back to familiar home.
His wing had folded itself, but was bent differently than the other. Cawing, the bird pecked away at the door, hoping the man that lived there would open his doors for him. The crow began to slip in and out of consciousness in those small moments. His form began to change again, but this time able to stay in the a solid realm. Corvus was unable to keep his shape for a long period of time, unable to even keep his own retrospect.
His black-clad form laid on the ground, his wrist in pain, loose from it's normal position. His hand touched the door and had actually touched the hard wood rather than fading through. The thin body laid collapsed, simply giving up trying to stay awake.

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
Ludovich watched the bird fly around for a bit before finally escaping through a window. As soon as he was out, Ludovich closed said window and released a sigh. He almost felt like crying again, but he stopped himself. Crying would do him no good. It wouldn't make him feel better nor would it bring Corvus back. The brunette, thus, just held it in and went to busy his mind on something else. First off, he'd find the thing that fell.
Dark eyes searched the room for a moment before catching sight of it and widening his eyes. That d@mn bird had knocked over his box!
Ludovich hurried over to it and gathered everything up before noticing something that was quite upsetting. The bird had stolen his feather from Corvus. It was absolutely nowhere in sight.
A deep frown appeared on his lips at the sight and he felt that emptiness inside him increase. Now Corvus wasn't only gone, but he all had no piece of him left. He felt awful.
Ludovich sat there and stared silently at the box for what felt like hours before he finally heard noise at the door. At this, brown orbs turned to look at the door. Who could it be? He had no money that needed to be dropped off nor did he have any friends to come visit him. Did that mean that the police and finally decided to stop by to to interrogate him? If so, he was fully ready to confess to what he'd done, hoping that if he did, he'd be killed and wouldn't have to deal with this feeling anymore.
The young man carefully got up from his couch and headed over. Once there he released a sigh. He was scared of what would happen now, but he knew he'd have to deal with it. After all, it was the only way he'd ever see Corvus again.
After a small battle in his head as to whether he really wanted to do this or not, he opened the door, just to find nowhere there. Ludovich searched around for a bit before finally looking down.
"C-Corvus? I-Is that you," he asked as he crouched down and nudged the other. The young man carefully turned the figure over before biting his lip. It was him. It was really him! Tears of joy streamed down his face at the sight and he lightly moved his hand to touch the other's face. He could feel him and everything. Ludovich stared silently down at him for a bit, just taking him in. He then carefully scooped the young man up and moved him over to the couch.
Once Corvus was covered up and secure, Ludovich carefully took a seat next to him and waited for him to wake up.

In the dark corners of the crow's mind, he was flooded with thoughts of simple pleasures. The small bird could recall flying about the farmland with wind under his wings. His inky black feathers glimmered in the sunlight iridescent shades of green and blue. He came to the barn he lived in with the flock of crows that tried to avoid the farmer that owned the land. It was always a game, trying to live there and eat the poor man's crops. If ever the man had shot one of their own, they would fly out the barn and land on its peak, crying out, screaming murder in their bird-language.
Corvus had always feared being the next crow to get caught and felt a deep sorrow when his kin had been shot.
The taste of berries or common corn. When the winter came, they feasted upon the remnants of food that was thrown for the pigs, trying not to be eaten by the monstrous pink creatures covered in fuzz themselves. A different black bird would sit on a post every other day as a living siren to warn the others with a string of caws. The crows would scramble in a black cloud before flying off, the farmer shouting obscenities at the birds.
The spring would come and the flowers would bloom and the crows would pick at the insects that would attempt to ruin the blossoming crops. It was one of the only times they weren't hunted. In the summer, it continued, but the one summer's night teh crows heard a ruckus. The farmer seemed to have gotten into more trouble again. Corvus hadn't understood then why humans would hurt one another. Why not stay as a flock? His own was made of various crows, some lost their old flock, most not even related to one other by any other means. A group of men soaked the hay inside the barn before setting it aflame. The crows began to rush out when the the place had started to fall. They rushed and flew, crying out, screaming murder in their bird-language. Corvus was one of the many that had been caught in the fallen beams, suffocating and dying slowing by smoke and flame.
Corvus cawed out, screaming murder in his bird-language, flailing about with feathers half-formed flying about before he fell from the couch. He tangled himself in the sheets he was covered in and realized where he was. He sat in silence before seeing Ludovich. A moment passed by before the crow had taken to embrace the other tightly. He had died, yet again, he knew it. The fey seemed to be immortal after all, and was grateful for this gift. In a quiet hush, he whispered "murder..." Regaining his own composure, he could only recall a few things. "Had anyone hurt you?" He asked, both memories of dying implanted in his mind. The fire in the barn, the knife to his gut.
"I'll kill him. These humans, they murder. I'll murder back this time, I'll murder them dead." If these humans were gone, then would there be peace? The black fey decided he could no longer be an angel, but would rather choose death.

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
Ludovich watched the other silently, just smiling softly at the sight. He was so happy that he was back. He'd been so worried he would never see him again and that he would be alone, yet again. But here he was, right in front of him, perfectly fine again. It was a wonderful feeling, really it was.
Dark eyes gazed silently at the resting being for the longest time before Corvus finally started to move about. Ludovich jumped a bit at this and watched silently as he flailed about before hitting the ground. A chuckle escaped his lips at the sight and he smiled slightly. "You okay," he asked simply before suddenly feeling Corvus embrace him. The brunette tensed a bit for a moment at this before relaxing and smiling again. "No, no one hurt me. I'm all in one piece."
Ludovich looked rather happy for a moment as he hugged the other before hearing Corvus speak about murdering someone. As he listened silently, he tensed a bit and slowly released the other. Ludovich knew who he was talking about when he said he'd kill someone, but he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. After all, he was one of those humans who murdered. He was one of the ones who killed people. Would that mean...?
Ludovich looked silently up to the other, searching him before suddenly hearing a phone call. The contract killer jumped at the sound and turned his head over to it. Who could be calling him at this time?
Ludovich stood up and headed over to the phone to check out the caller i.d. He frowned some at the sight of the name, but picked it up nonetheless. "Hello...Yes this is...You want me to what?....By when?...One moment," Ludovich paused for a moment to think of the days he had open before pressing the phone back to his ear," I should be able to finish it by then...Mhm...You know I won't...Alright, be careful... Goodbye."
With that conversation finished, the brunette carefully hung up the phone and turned to Corvus. "Are you hungry at all?"

The crow tried to hold no emotion, but his fury was boiling inside him. Too long had the fey kept himself at bay with these humans. Hardly ever using his powers of life, only a few given his blessing and Ludovich among them, he instead decided his powers of death were more deserving. The balance between teh two were precious, but he could not find himself to be merciful this time. He was silent, lost in thought to even Ludo's gaze until the phone had rung, startling Ludo. Catching his attention, he wordlessly eyed Ludovich as he took the call. Oh, he was a killer himself, wasn't he? Taking contracts to fulfill others' biddings...
He tried to listen to the call, but the phone to him held static he could not understand. His feathers began to stand in his hair, creating a cockatiel look to him. They twitched in his hair as he stood his full height. His usual slumped stature was fully erect, his tall body nearly touching the ceiling, his feathers brushing against it lightly. Feathers began to twitch along the lengths of his arms.
Upon Ludo's question, his dark expression had not changed. "No thank you..." He murmured. "I think I ate before I woke up here."
"Ludovich," Corvus started. "I want you to stay here. I dont want you to go out there, not even for that call. Not until I tell you to. Understand? I want you to stay here and not become a part of the rapture." Corvus held a lingering seriousness. Without even waiting for an answer, the fey walked out, fading through the wall. His wings grew nealy twice their normal size as he took flight. He began to scout the area for the one man. He would kill him first. He wanted to return to hopefully find Ludovich still at the house, and then he planned to begin his work afterward.
He flew about the general area where he himself was attacked. It wasn't too far from the previous crimes. He looked about and tried to spot him in the crowds. Without any luck, he tried the back alleys. Although he still could not find the man, he found a small group beating a poor weaker man. He jected towards them and in one fell swoop, cut them down. The man on the ground panicked further and begged for his life. Corvus simply phased through him and the walls of the buildings before taking flight once more. Yet anotehr crime somewhere else. He swooped down and killed the two men that had just murdered someone in the home. Corvus knew not man or woman or child, only the loss of life inside the building. He continued this pattern, flying about, looking for one man but killing tens of more. Surely he has drawn attention by now? The sudden deaths of criminals and murderers. His own hatred began to fuel. A young teen pickpocketing was then sought out. The fey cornered him with the teen distracted by the new objects he stole and slew him as well.
Annoyed with his lack of progress, Corvus decided today was enough and flew back towards Ludovich's home, falling silently through the ceiling, his wings folding back into arms, his body drenched.

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
"Oh...alright," the young man said before taking a seat back on his couch. He was to kill a young man sometime within the next few days. He'd been briefly explained about what they looked like, where they lived, and their ability with fighting. Ludovich was hoping to start working on it now, so he had a couple days to do it if necessary.
Before he could even start to think of a plan though, Corvus turned to him and, in a rather serious tone, told him to stay put. Ludovich frowned slightly and was about to protest when the crow faded through the wall and started 'the rapture', whatever that meant. Ludovich wasn't quite religious enough to know what the heck that meant. All he knew was that Corvus was acting stranger than usual and he very frankly did not want to get on his bad side at the moment. Ludovich, thus, let out a slightly frustrated sigh and leaned back into his seat. Now what? Doing his job was out of the question tonight and so was any other form of activity it seemed. Perhaps he could watch television? Yeah that sounded alright.
Ludovich flicked the television on, turning it to the news. The brunette watched it quietly for a moment, just thinking, before getting up. He really need a smoke. It felt like it had been ages since he had one.
The brunette searched the usual places first, before checking random other areas, unsure as to whether he'd been in his right mind the last time he'd set them down. After searching for what felt like hours though, he came up dry. Ugh.
Ludovich sat down for awhile, figuring he could try to wait it out until Corvus came back, but he couldn't. He needed one really bad. The brunette, thus, grabbed some money and a coat before heading out into the city. As he walked, he kept his guard up, expecting either Corvus to scold him or someone to jump him. When he reached the gas station though without incident and his cash was exchanged for the cigarettes, he calmed. He was way less likely to get bothered without cash on him and Corvus seemed to not have noticed. The brunette, thus, allowed himself to pause at a street and carefully light up his cancer stick. A sigh escaped the man's lips as he released the smoke and a smile fell on his lips. That was much better. Now time to get home before Corvus noticed his absence.
There are victims, born to have their throats cut, and cutthroats, born to be hanged.

Ludovich was nowhere in sight. Corvus felt his feathers convulse continuously with anger and worry. His body began to grow and cover itself in black feathers. His face was spared, but thin spines began to emerge from his back and head. A set of dewclaws grew from the bend of his wings. He flew through the walls and lifted to the air. In the sky, he searched about. Ludovich had gone to that job of his, hadn’t he? The fey needed to find him. His destruction needed to be perfect. Landing on a tall building, he was joined by a murder of crows. They began to caw and screech flat notes. Corvus led them out towards the city. They murder of crows followed before splitting into smaller groups, some attacking people, others flying into open windows and doors. The crow went on with his work; He would know Ludovich when he sees him.
His shoes split into the talons of a crow. Using his claws and dewclaws, Corvus sought out to find more criminals. Those who were stealing were slain; those who would even hit another had their guts slashed and their eyes pecked out. Corvus began to lose track of those he deemed criminals and began to slay just about everyone he saw, not that many were outside by now. In small areas, he heard the screams of humans around him before he flew off to a new place, sirens seemed to follow his trail. Eventually, many dead or wounded began to pile along the streets, ambulances all along the streets. The murder of crows clouded most of the sky. The fey’s given power was beginning to unravel uncontrollably. The consequences for his madness would begin to unwind.
Corvus flew down to the ground, his body taking its humanoid form. He walked the streets quickly, many wounded crying for help. Finally, the feeling of Ludovich was near. The crow tried to catch up to him; it seemed he was heading home. Corvus caught his arm, pulling him into a tight embrace, gently caressing the short man's hair. “You should have stayed inside, Ludovich…” He whispered, blood probably staining the other man’s clothes. “You need to go inside. Armageddon, death… This city will die, and when it does, I’ll take you outside the smog. Only I know you’re not a bad person. My brothers, cousins, and friends do not and may hurt you.”

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
Ludovich took a few drags before carefully starting on his way home. He smiled some as he did so. It would seem as though he'd be able to make it home without Corvus even noticing. The thought made him feel silly for having been so nervous early. He would be perfectly fine there was nothing to-
A bunch of caws were suddenly heard, causing the young man to freeze. What was that noise? Was this part of Corvus' so-called rapture? No, no that was silly to think of. It was probably just some birds calling out for help. They probably just got stuck in something or another. Yes, that was it, that must be it. He had to stop letting himself get so worried. He was being rid-
Bam! A man rammed into him, knocking him to the ground. The brunette frowned some at this and was about to yell at him when he saw the man's face. He looked absolutely horrified. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. Please forgive me," the man pleaded just for Ludovich to nod.
"It's...okay," the young man said a confused fashion, just for the man to settle down some.
"Thank you. I-," he started just for his eyes to widen, obviously seeing something that Ludovich did not. The brunette looked confused for a moment before suddenly watching the man start to run. It was then that it happened, a group of crows flew from above and started to peck the man to death.
Ludovich stared in shock for a moment, not sure how to respond, but as soon as he snapped back, he quickly started off down the street, towards his home. As he did so, he noticed a few bodies lying on the ground here and there. The sight didn't bother him at first, but as the body count got larger and the deaths more bloody, he found himself starting to feel sick.
The man ducked into an alleyway, deciding that was the best way to get home. He walked at first, staying relatively calm, but as the screams and cries increased he found himself going faster and faster. He just wanted to get home and to get away from this place.
He moved as quick as he could, getting closer and closer, before suddenly feeling his arm get grabbed. A startled yell escaped his lips at this. He panicked for a moment before feeling someone embrace him and hearing that familiar voice. He was wet and smelled awful, but it was Corvus and that alone helped him settle just a bit.
Ludovich shook as he stood there and released the tears that he wasn't aware he had held in. He was scared, no terrified. He may have been brave in most cases, but not against death. Against death, he was just as frightened as the rest, only putting on a brave face to hide said fear.
"I-I'm sorry Corvus. I didn't know," he said in the calmest voice he could muster," I'll go back home. I promi-." Ludovich stopped, finally realizing what that scent was and suddenly paling. It was blood. Corvus was covered in blood.

As Ludovich seemed to stammer, Corvus felt his heart sink. His hatred was set aside, hearing the painful tone in the human's voice. The crow held him tightly, staying silent. He could feel the subtle yet growing fear, not only in his companion but everywhere. The murder of crows began to fly off, the day being recovered. "Ludo, I'll walk you home..." He murmured before noticing the young man seemed to grow ill.
Corvus himself began to panic and broke away from the other. He held Ludo's face in his hands, staining his cheeks with the drying crimson liquid. "I'll take you home, Ludovich. Please, don't get sick." Corvus held Ludovich close, wrapping the man's arm around his own neck to help carry him off. He's done enough flying; if he flew to Ludo's home, surely the authorities would notice this time.
He was careful to avoid the messes of injured bodies, but it was nearly impossible to find a few even in the alleys. The black fey eventually had come to their shared home. Not wanting to chance to wonder if Ludovich would be able to fade through the wall with him, Corvus simply entered the home through the door normally to attempt to carry the young man to his own bed.
"You should rest, sleep. I'll bring you water. You apologized to me, Ludovich, but... I should appologize instead. I only want the best for us. Killing everyone around, now I think it would be painful for you, wouldn't it?" Releasing Ludovich, placing a gentle kiss to his whitening forehead, Corvus sighed. "I'll bring you water..." Was but a whisper to remind himself as he set off for a glass to fill and bring back to the man.

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
Ludovich stood frozen in place, not sure how to respond or what to do. He felt sick, horribly so. He hated blood. He hated it so much. The sight of it made him sick, which explained the lack of blood in his murders. It was something he always avoided, if he could. But Corvus....he was covered in it. It seemed to be everywhere, soaking him head to toe.
The brunette stared in silence, not seeming to be able to tear his eyes away from it even as his vision started to fail him. There was just so much of it....Where had it come from? Certainly it was not all from one person, but if that was so, how many people had Corvus murdered? Ludovich wasn't sure, but was certain he did not want to really know. The thought would just make him even more sick.
Ludovich seemed to zone as Corvus spoke to him, expressing concern for him. He couldn't concentrate, his head was spinning and he watched his world slowly start to disappear. When taken ahold of, he followed, closing his eyes as he did in hope that it would help ease away the dizziness that was overwhelming him. He continued as such, tuning out the sirens and screams.
When they finally returned home, the young man finally opened his eyes, feeling a bit better knowing that he now had walls between him and the bloodbath outside. He then carefully followed Corvus upstairs to his room and took a seat on his bed.
The brunette nodded softly as the other told him to rest and took a few deep breaths, as an attempt to calm himself. He then watched the other wander off before looking down to his clothes. They had blood on them, the blood of someone he didn't know. The thought made him pale all over again and he carefully started to strip down, wishing to get the blood and it's smell as far away from him as possible. He continued to do so until he was down to his boxers, the only thing untouched by the blood. Ludovich then shakily lifted up his bloodied clothes and dropped them in a metal waste bin that sat near his bed.
Dark brown eyes stared silently at them for a moment before spotting something he wanted and carefully pulling them out of the waste bin. He then fidgeted with the box for a bit before grabbing ahold of one of the slender rods and lighting it up. The first inhale helped him to calm considerably and helped to put his mind back into semi-working order. A sigh of smoke escaped his lips at this and he lightly closed his eyes. Much better.

The black fey keot at bay, watching Ludovich undress. He seemed disturbed, and Corvus wondered why. Other than his rampant murder spree, that it. He had simply thrown his clothes away. Corvus began to wonder if it was the blood. He himself was covered in it, as well as most of the outside, now. He seemed so shaken, the crow's heart sank. Corvus continued to obsurve him, even as he so cautiously pulled his cigarettes from the wastebasket.
The crow set the small glass of water on the floor and faded through the wall. He searched about for a small clearing in a nearby alley. With his abuse of power by now, it wouldn't hurt to make it rain only once? The sky let down sprinkles of rain. Corvus stayed out there, letting it wash away the stains of blood. Transforming into his smaller bird form, he flew back towards the shared home. Finding a dry patch to shake his featehrs dry and transform back, the crow enteed Ludovich's home and took the glass of water he set aside. Corvus approached the young man, setting the glass aside once more. He brought Ludovich close, hugging him loosely before kissing his cheek.
"I think I killed him. But I killed a lot of people. I wouldn't be surprised if I were to become a regular crow again, or completely stripped of my powers." Being able to control his transformations somewhat better, his skin began to hold colour, his black lips lightening to a more natural pink. "I still dont think you should go out for a while..."

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
The brunette sat there silently, seeming to think to himself as he took another inhale of smoke. What had Corvus said to him early? He'd forgotten. It was something about apologizing. What for? Ah, he couldn't remember. His mind was in a fuzz. All he could remember was the blood and the fact that Corvus would be back soon with water. Another sigh of smoke was released at this before the young man carefully put his cigarette out on a nearby ashtray.
Soon after, footsteps were heard nearby, hinting that Corvus had returned. Dark eyes rose from the bin at this and turned to the crow, who currently looked much more human and much less bloody than he previously had. A smile tugged at his lips at the sight. It was a lot better than the blood covered crow he'd seen earlier.
When hugged the brunette released a sigh and leaned lightly against him, quite liking the bit of warmth the other was giving off. "I won't go out, but I have to eventually," Ludovich said, knowing better than to argue when the other said not to go out," please try not to leave me though...Losing you twice already was bad enough...."

Corvus smiled, hearing Ludovich speak. Furthermore when the mortal leaned against him. In a playful tone, he said "You wont leave as long as I can help it." He was convinced, however, the commotion outside would continued for quite a while. Upon hearing Ludo's quiet request, he pulled back slightly. Losing him? "Oh, I died, didn't I?" Remembering what had happened only moments before he lost his mind. He gave the other a sincere smile before suddenly turning into a pout.
"You tried to shoo me away!" He cried, his lips puckering in discontent. "I promise. I wont leave you alone. How could I? A crow, unlike my cousins, mate once, for life."
Corvus pushed Ludovich onto his back, onto the bed behind him. He curled up beside him, hugging him and allowing his wings to sprout from his arms as a blanket. "You asked me if I was your guardian angel. Even if I wanted to be, I'm not, Ludovich. But that doesn't mean I can't try to protect you." The fey nuzzled Ludo softly, only wanting to wait for the noise outside to settle. He wondered what the humans had thought had happened. He was sure many had seen him, half bird half humanoid, flying about with his murder.
"You didn't see me, did you? The demon that executed many without mercy... I dont want to become that star."

Ludovich~Arneson It takes two to murder
Ludovich nodded some at his question before smiling some. "I didn't know it was you. You had just disappeared and I very well did not want to be taking care of a crow, thinking it was you, if it wasn't. That would've been an insult," he said simply as he looked up to the other, chuckling a tad at the look on his face. It looked funny, sitting there on his features like that.
The brunette watched him silently just listening to his next words about mating. The idea helped cheer him up a tad. It was nice to know that he would promise to be there with him, even if it may not necessarily be able to be kept. It warmed him a bit, to know that the other would care enough to say so.
Ludovich smiled slightly at this and continued leaning against him until Corvus suddenly pushed him back onto the bed. Eyes widened in surprise for a moment as he fell back before feeling his back hit the mattress beneath. He released a small chuckle at the ridiculousness of his fear and then watched as Corvus laid down beside him, cuddling up to him almost as if in a protective manner.
The young man listened silently as he spoke about his comment the first time they met, making him feel just as silly as the first time he'd mentioned that to him. A light blush tinted the young man's cheeks as the other nuzzled up against him, reassuring him that he would try to protect him. It was a nice feeling to be here in Corvus' wings, being snuggled into and kept warm. In fact, he was almost certain that this was his favorite place in the entire world. It just felt so safe, so comforting.
Ludovich snuggled close into the other as they laid there and lightly closed his eyes, just listening as Corvus breathed in and out beside him. He stayed like that for quite some time before hearing Corvus speak up again, asking him a question. "I saw nothing, only the blood and the bodies," the young man said as he reached up and lightly caressed the other's cheek in a comforting fashion," and don't worry about becoming a star. Becoming that star requires you to be selfish and you are very far from it..."
There are victims, born to have their throats cut, and cutthroats, born to be hanged.
