"Yess... a worthy sacrifice indeed," said Jericho as he imagined this book and hopefully the author going down in flames. It was a lovely image. No one got away with tossing around such lies on the reds if he could help it!
Having finished his meal as well, he looked over towards Riley as she looked as if she was about to pass out. His expression shifted to that of a frown with her choice of words.
"I think I may stay another day or so, just to be sure," He said, offering a smile, "I'm sure you won't mind the service of Gimbal a little longer anyway, hm?"

"Tu sei la mia vita," Malodore said, gallantly. "Tu, e la scienza."

Riley had almost begun to close her eyes, nodding slightly at Jericho's offer, when Malodore's words finally settled in, and they opened once more. Her gaze turned slowly to the plague doctor, and her eyes brightened as she just.. stared. She was glad it didn't have extra sensory hearing, or it would wonder if her quickening heart palpitations were something to worry about.
Finally, after a long, silent moment, her eyes closed once more.
She said nothing. Nor did she move, much. From all visible standpoint, she was falling asleep. But her heart was racing too fast for that, right now. She would just lie there for a bit, that's all. Nobody had to know.
