Steven sighed quietly at the words from the kids, especially Lukes, but he could understand their thinking. "Its not quite so simple," he said at last. "We can't just go barging into their hideout. For one, we don't even know where it is. Lance was trying to do something, and while he knew the risks, he still got captured. But don't worry, we have every intention of getting him back." The last sentence said in utmost seriousness. They wouldn't let Lance remain in the clutches of Team Rocket if he had anything to say about it.
"Excuse me, Mr. Stone? The tournament is about to begin." This said from a lady with a name tag that said "Suzie" on it. Steven sighed again, at the formal use of his name, but shrugged it off. "All right, I'll be there in a moment."
Turning back to the trainers, he regarded them all with a smile. "Here, if you would, let me know if any of you hear anything? We could use as many eyes and ears out there as we can." And with that, he handed out a business card with his contact information to any of the trainers that would take it. "Hopefully we can put a stop to Team Rocket and any more sad stories like Rosie's. Now if you'll excuse me, I must be going. It was a pleasure meeting each of you." And with that, Steven turned and headed away. "Aron, come on," he called to his steel type that was still marching merrily around a girl's legs with another white Aron. Blinking, he looked towards Steven and hurriedly trundled after him. "Arooon!" he called in farewell to his newfound friends.

Charlotte had been standing quietly Draco weaving around her ankles uninterested as she allowed herself to become entranced by the words of the others. The separate stories of the other trainers were interesting especially about Lance and the legendary gone missing the story of whom had gripped her. A woman approached Steven and informed him that the tournament was giong to start. She was sad to see the interesting man go but she readily accepted a business card of his. "Thank you." she said melodically "It was a pleasure meeting you M..." Charlotte caught herself mid word "Steven. I hope to see you again." She nodded her head as if to enforce her words and her luscious curls bobbed up and down. She wasn't sure if she had heard of him before but she was sad to see him go.
That reminded Charlotte. She didn't really knw who she's been standing with. She knew there names but other than that she knew not much else about them. She resolved that if she got the chance she would find out more about them.

Guy folded his arms across his chest, sighing silently at Luke's indignant reaction to his concern and worry. Sometimes... Sometimes, he really wished that he could just kill that annoying brat of a boy. He once did have that desire, true, but the raw feelings of it had long been extinguished. There were still faint scars left, but the essence of all murderous impulses had left him, leaving only a desire to protect his charge and his friend.
He turned to Rosie, a small smile visible on his face. "That's a good plan, training to get stronger." His eyes momentarily glanced over to Luke, then back to Steven. He took the offered card and turned it over in his hand, examining it. It certainly was professional looking... He pocketed the small piece of paper and looked up in time to see Steven making his departure. Guy held up his hand in a small wave goodbye. "Pleasure meeting you, too, Steven."

And with the departure of the Arons and then the departure of the interesting, important-looking, human, Dupin finally stood and turned to try and start making her way back through the crowds, her tail wagging slowly behind her.
Lestrade had resolved himself to sitting beside her and watching the humans and pokemon for himself. As his smaller partner began to move off, he at first did not register the fact and then blinked as he turned to catch her frowning as she sought a gap through the crowds of moving legs. <<Wait, where are you going now? I thought you wanted to watch the activities for a little while? Or have you lost interest now?>> The fox-ish Leafeon stood himself, though didn't quite move from his spot yet.
<<Didn't you hear the human just then? The tournament is starting; we should get back.>> The striped Eevee replied, before stepping into the path of the crowd, intent on finding her way back to Jeremy. She didn't wait for Lestrade's reply, or to ensure that he was following.

She gave Luke a kind smile at his reaction to her words, tucking her loose bangs behind her ear and rounding her shoulders slightly in a humble gesture toward embarrassing him.
Her hand slid back down to Charmander's back when Guy looked to her and agreed with the plan, and she gave another confident nod. Opening her mouth to say something more when another women walked over and said something to Steven about the tournament. Her eyebrows arched a little. Oh, that was going to start soon! Exciting!
When his card was handed out, she reached out to take it, glancing over the information before returning her gaze back up to him "We'll do what we can to help"
As he excused himself, Rosie returned her own farewell to him, smiling down at the Aron as it followed after when he was called. Once he had left the group, Rosie turned to the others, looking excited "Oh wow, Steven, here." That was very amazing to her. "Oh! did any of you sigh up for the battles?" She asked, reminded of that when the women had brought it up. looking between the members of the group.
