The next skill on the list was Hip Throw. Sonya read and reread the skill several times before she gave it a try. First she needed a dummy so she picked up her book and went over to one of the dummies in the room. She set her book down near the one that she picked. Then she used the Phantom Feint move to get into position. This took several tries because she wanted to get into the perfect position so she could perform the move properly and deal the most damage. Then she grabbed the dummy's shoulders and pivoted so that her hip was in the proper place. She practiced this a few times as well. This part was vital so she wanted to be sure she had it down perfectly. [2/3]
Finally she executed the throw. She didn't do it right at first so she tried again and again. On her fifth try she got it right. She did it once more to see if she had got it. She executed the move smoothly. She had learned the Hip Throw. [3/3]
Hip throw learned.

Sonya was about to read the third skill in the book when she noticed that she hadn't learned the stage yet. She read over the stage a few times before looking around. She called a random student over and asked him to attack her. He agreed and so they began. [1/6]
The boy was fast and hit her quite a few times while she tried to observe and dodge at the same time. She was determined to learn this quickly so she could move on. She was probably far behind the others. [2/6]
Eventually she managed to observe and dodge a few of her opponent's attacks. She noticed that punches started at the shoulders and that her opponent's eyes usually gave away where they were about to strike. She filed this information away. [3/6]
This noted, she decided to try and step into and around her opponent's attacks. So on the next one she tried stepping around and got hit hard for it. She kept trying and eventually managed it. She did this for both arms and legs. [4/6]
Next she tried stepping into her opponent's attacks. This proved even more difficult and resulted in even more blows landing on her steadily bruising body. After many tries she managed to successfully step into her opponent's attack. She practiced this several more times, observing how the kid's body moved with each strike. She noticed that there was always a small opening created in her opponent's guard each time he attacked. She filed this information away [5/6]
Sonya kept practicing dodging, stepping in, and stepping around her opponent's attacks as she observed. She noticed that if she wanted to get into his guard or around his attacks faster she had to move faster so she began practicing moving faster and slipping into position quicker. She did this for a while longer before she successfully learned Stage 1. [6/6]
Stage one of Jujitsu learned.

Snap Throw
Rank: D
Requires: Phantom Feint
Description: Best when used in combination with Phantom Feint, but can also be done when you're simply facing an opponent's side. The user positions their leg behind the opponent while coiling their arm under their opponent's defenses to press on the middle of their chest. With a simple spin the user pulls their leg into the opponent to sweep them while the push flips the opponent and sends them head-first into the ground with impressive force.
Once done learning the Stage she looked at the book again. She was on the last skill for her level so she was going to have to level up soon. She read the skill several times before she took up her position in front of the dummy again. First she used the Phantom Feint to get into position. [1/5]
Next Sonya positioned her leg behind the dummy's leg. Then she coiled her arm under the dummy's defenses and pressed on the middle of it's chest. She was taking it slow and doing the move step by step. She repeated what she had already done until it became a fluid motion. [2/5]
She set her self up in the position she had already learned and prepared to do the next part. She spun and pulled her leg into the dummy's while pushing. The dummy went head first into the ground easily. [3/5]
She started again. This time she did it all in one move without stopping, like she would in a real fight. She started with the Phantom Feint and ended with flipping the dummy and plowing it's head into the ground. [4/5]
Once she had this way of doing it down she decided to learn how to do it simply by facing the dummy's side. It was a little different and it took her a couple of tries to do it. Eventually though she could perform the move both ways. She practiced the same thing on the other side of the dummy so she would be able to perform the move from both sides. She practiced a bit longer before she was sure she had mastered the move. [5/5]

Satisfied with her training, Sonya wiped the sweat off her face. She only had a few dozen bruises so he wasn't that badly hurt. She put her mask back on once her face was dry and left the Colosium. She headed for the training room.

Fenrir walked out onto the coliseum and read through the Stage 2 Juijitsu style. About half way down though a frown creased his face and he tucked the book back under his arm. Of course he'd need a partner for training again. Fenrir sighed and left to go find Elise back at the school.

Emma walked in to the coliseum and absently touched her scythe, she wondered if she'd need this at all really. She waited for her sparring partner and began to read through the Abyss Style, all of the powerful abilities at the end only.

Emma put her book away and shook her head, since she hardly had emotion she felt no inclination to charge at him like an idiot. Her ki continued to remain in a basically straight line, no spikes or anything, it just awaited use. "I cannot be goaded in to combat, since I challenged you the first move is rightfully yours." Emma said, facing him and staring at him like a toy doll, her eyes devoid of everything. "I am, however, prepared."

Darion shook his head. "Sorry but I won't hit a girl unless she hits me...You know how it is..." He said as he looked at his hands. "After all...The proper thing to so is say...Ladies first, or are you not a woman with that flat chest?" Darion said as he chuckled.

Emma heard that insult tossed around so many times it didn't even matter anymore. "So that's how it's going to be then..." Emma drew her scythe and got a running start at Darion. She didnt want to slash him though so she aimed at the ground and used her movement speed to throw a massive strike at Darion's chest. She doubted she'd really have to slash him at all, she wouldn't allow the fight to get that serious, not in the slightest way.

Darion grinned as he watched Emma's Chi, Her intentions to cut him were false, he could tell just by reading it.Darion quickly transferred his ki to his feet and the ground around him, the water in the ground would quickly freeze to freeze. Darion would step back just enough to avoid the scyth and Emma's feint. If she stepped on it she would slip and fall but Darion wouldn't fall because of his passive effect. Frozen touch-10 350-10=340

Emma landed and ended up rolling across the ground so she ended up on her knees instead of falling all over the place. "Nice." Emma complimented, she was impressed he knew what she was doing. "But you're a little too close." She said as she preformed a rising strike, at the same time a black spike shot up from a circle a short distance away from Darion. One of the other was going to hit him, she'd make sure to keep trying her hardest here.
Lunar Basics: Rise

The user performs a rising knee strike, and a circle of Ki is created on the ground. The circle can be anywhere from right in front of the user to about 2 feet away. At the same time as the strike, a spike shoots up from the circle at a 60 degree angle, and causes painful bruises on contact.

Darion sighed as he attempted to block the knee coming at him by grabbing it.Darion would also move to the right of her and attempt to grab her arm.If he grabbed them both successfully he would hold them tightly and she would being to get encased by ice.This would leave her immobilized for a short period of time but just enough for him to get a hit, Frozen Grip-50 330-50=280
