Kitty Konspirator ...People are always ruining my fun. Wait, does this mean I didn't steal my friend's mom's car because she gave me the keys? In the words of Rayne Summers, "I am not a credible source". I would say no... but a jury of your peers may say otherwise xd

The reunion itself it over- and I skipped my Gram's funeral service because Annette wasn't welcome and I had too much stuff to do. I didn't feel like not having Annette with me at the service- my Grams loved Annette as her own.

I get to have a week of down time, then I'm heading out to visit my HPS for almost a week.

I was told never to go to bed angry at my husband... some nights I want to throttle him. But I won't... but I am still going to bed mad as hell, and I hate it.

Sometimes it's better to get some rest and discuss the problem in the morning, instead of getting more tired, cranky and frustrated...and making the problem even worse.

*Buzzzz*
Taking my Sister in Love to the Airport was emotionally draining. 4 hours in the car. sweatdrop I came home and passed out until it was time to pick up Annette. We ran errands. I came back home did laundry and dishes, fixed some family pictures, did some gardening and was cleaning out the fridge- and then I took a break.
And I got nagged for it. stressed
I'm feeling a little rage face now- and because it's not the first time, I'm starting to emotionally respond to the sound of their voice the way I respond to my mamas.

So there's an old Protestant (Calvinist) v. Catholic argument: The people who are really Christian aren't perfect- but they don't go to the confession for the same thing every week. If a heart is truly penitent it confesses, atones and works hard to avoid that sin again. This is why Calvinists think that Catholic's approach to the Sacrament of Penance is BS. But then- even the Catholics say that there has to be sincere sorrow and a desire and act of atonement.
Saying sorry is a good start- but just saying sorry over and over again isn't The Law of Love. The Law of Love asks people to love each other as they love themselves- and really? I'm not sure that's possible for someone who is immature. Loving someone like you love yourself isn't about saying I'm Sorry and then ignoring the problem. Can you imagine if you had killer boots and stepped on someone's toes, and stood there looking them in the eyes while you're crushing them and said "Oh, I'm sorry I'm on your toes. I know that must hurt. I hope they don't get too banged up. What's that? It hurts? Oh, I'm sorry. You want me to move my foot? I will. Oh- not now. In a bit. I'll try and get off your toes soon."
Of course not. ninja
Some people get stuck in their development- like toddlers they need to be the center of the world, but in the stage of their own mind, there will never be any room for anyone else to take an equal role, so there can't be a way for them to love others as they love themselves.
So, yeah- that's my little rant on Calvinism.
In random news today I picked up a couple hitchhikers and got them a little food and some sunblock.

I don't have enough education on Calvinism or anything else that was written there to comment on that, so please don't take a lack of comment badly. >.< But for the hitchhikers, that was really awesome of you. smile In my area, people just drive by, few people will stop.
