As Desmond heard the retreating footsteps of their unlikely savior, he tilted his head towards Klyde. Apparently he would be fine. He was talking, after all.
"I'll be fine." The other vampire said meekly, trying not to strain himself to much.
Though... His following question caught the blonde off guard. He supposed, in a way, it HAD been Suto... But...
"No..." He said with as much confidence has he could muster. "It... Wasn't..." He could feel his voice going out slowly but surely. Tonight was gonna be a lot of fun, that's for sure...

It didn't take Neko long to return with his car. Thankfully the alley was wide enough he could pull the silver jeep wrangler in so he wouldn't have to carry the boys far. Once parked he jumped out of the car and moved over to Klyde first to help the vampire to his feet.
It was hard to say which angle would be the best for approaching the situation. Klyde looked like he was well injured in all manner of places. "Brace yourself, this is probably going to hurt." Neko said calmly as he knelt down to pick up Klyde's arm to wrap over his shoulder. As gently as he could he started to pull the vampire to his feet, Klyde moaning and complaining the entire time.
"Fuuuck," Klyde hissed lowly unable to fully stand on one of his legs. His face looked like it had taken a bit of a beating as well, blue and purple dotted around his cheeks and eyes.
"Come on, get in the Jeep," Neko said moving them over to the car and depositing Klyde in the backseat. When he was situated Neko moved back over to Desmond and started to help lift him up as well. This was going to be an interesting evening for sure.

The sound of a car pulling up was a relief, though at that point Desmond hadn't even fathomed the result if it wasn't Neko.
He didn't really care where they'd be taken... He just didn't want to be here... Out in the open...
The vampire couldn't help but wince as he heard his friend complain about being picked up... Knowing full well that he was to follow.
Taking in a sharp breath as Neko lifted him, his hands moved to his broken ribs and punctured skin, a pained look on his features. "Thank you..." He managed to say, though he couldn't really manage a grateful tone at the moment.

"Yeah, you're welcome. What I'm going to do with you will be the better question." Neko said helping Desmond into his Jeep on the opposite side of Klyde.
It seemed the other vampire had taken to resting his head against the window with his eyes closed, feeling a little safer now that he wasn't in the alley. He didn't seem very responsive when Desmond was helped into the vehicle nor when Neko climbed into the front seat and started the engine.
"Okay, where to?" Neko asked not sure where to go with the two. He knew of one stop he was going to make which he already started to pull out of the alley and back down the street. It would be quick and more than likely save him some trouble in the long run if he stopped at the store and picked up some bottled blood. No doubt with them being injured they would be hungry soon....dangerously hungry.

Letting out a sigh as he was placed on the soft seat of a car, Desmond felt like following Klyde's demonstration.
"Somewhere... I don't know..." Desmond pushed out before carefully placing his own head against the window next to him. He'd never imagined the cold glass of a car could be so comforting...

Well, they were both a lot of help. Klyde with his silence and Desmond with his general lack of being able to make a decision. "Fine....just hang on."
Heading down the street Neko made the first stop at the store as planned. "Stay put you two, I'll be right back." They were going to owe him for this.
Leaving the Jeep Neko headed toward the store digging his phone out of his pocket again. He supposed he would take the two back to his place for now but it would probably be easier if someone knew where they were. And the only person that seemed to come to mind was Riyo.
Scrolling through his phone Neko finally found his fellow feline's number and hit the send button right as he headed through the door to the store. Hopefully they had blood in stock, most places did but it wasn't always a guarantee.

Meanwhile, Riyo had been at the dorm room... Alone. Klyde had said he needed to hang out with Desmond, Mitsu had gone to be with her other friends, and Neko was having his drinking night... Which left her with Tim as company... Doing things nobody would even imagine her doing.
Her hair was pinned up, face covered in some weird a** mud that had been in one of those lame gift baskets her dad sent, and nails covered in pink polish.
Tim... Was not far behind. She'd tried to put cucumbers over his eyes, but alas he was already eating them. Which was okay... She'd eaten hers too. What the ******** did cucumbers do besides taste good anyways?
"Gee Tim, your face will be so smooth after this." She joked, a small voice reminding her how stupid this was. She'd just put mud... On her face. And funky feeling paint on her nails. Felt worse on the toes, really.
Why had she done this? Well, it was hard to say. Curiosity killing the cat, she supposed. But... Like most gravely misunderstood people, little parts of her wanted to be normal in some respect. Even the girly side...
But she'd never admit it. which is probably why she jumped so high when her cellphone rang. More shocking, it was Neko. "H-hello?" She asked reluctantly, not quite sure what he could want.

Neko was curious about the sound of Riyo's voice as she answered the phone....it was like he had caught her doing something...even when he couldn't see. None the less he explained the situation, at least partially. Riyo agreed to come over but he lacked to mention just how bad off Desmond and Klyde both were. It didn't seem like the greatest thing to explain over the phone.
That taken care of Neko hung up, finally finding the bottles of blood he had been looking for and taking them up front. This s**t was expensive....they really owed him for this. Ringing up his purchase, though reluctantly, Neko took the case of fake blood back out to the Jeep and hopped inside.
"Here," Neko said holding a bottle over the seat for one of the boy's to take. "Just don't spill it." He said before starting the engine and taking off again. Oh fun adventure time was ahead.

As Riyo ended the call, she looked back at Tim with a frown. "I've gotta go bail Klyde's a** out of something... I guess we'll pick this back up when I return." Looking down at herself, she sighed. Just a plain shirt and some jeans... Nothing special...
But as she was about to walk out, she realized there was still mud on her face... Literally. "Oh, right." Seeing no reason to rush, Riyo took her time wiping off the stuff and taking her hair down... Though... it'd take too much time to clean off the nail polish... So she just wore a long sleeved jacket instead. With any luck she could just keep her hands in her pockets until things were sorted out and she could come back.
Desmond hadn't really been paying attention to the amount of time passing while Neko was gone. In fact, he was about as knocked out as Klyde.
As the bottle was presented to them, Desmond half-heartedly took the thing, but didn't open it because of Neko's follow-up warning... Which he most certainly wouldn't be able to heed if he opened it.

Tim gave a chirpy meow before he started to clean his face with his paw. He didn't seem to favor the taste of the mud but...then again he was still going to eat it. he ate everything.
The drive back to Neko's house was rather short, though the path to his house was rough. Mostly why he had an off road capable vehicle. Coming to a stop he helped each of the boy's inside bringing in the case of blood in the end and setting it on the table. He had set Klyde in his arm chair and Desmond on the couch. They both looked like s**t and he wasn't sure what the hell he was supposed to do about it.
"Do you need some.....first aid of some sort?" Neko asked not sure if it was needed. Vampires recovered even faster than he did but they did look pretty bad off. They both looked like they had been dragged from the movie of Fight Club and ditched in his living room. How swell.
Klyde gave no real response, barely holding onto the unopened bottle of blood in his hand. He knew he should attempt to drink the nasty garbage but he really wasn't hungry. Everything was weighing so heavily on his mind food was the last thing he was thinking about...which was a rare occasion.

Even though the ride back was rough, Desmond practically sank into the couch when he was placed upon it, a look of overwhelming relief all over his face. Yeah. There was still pain, but at least he was comfortable while experiencing it.
"No..." Desmond said groggily, though his eyes stayed closed. "We're... Already dead, after all."
It only took Riyo a couple minutes more to get down there than it did for Neko to drive home. Not bothering to knock, she slowly opened the door and peeked in. "Hey, I'm here." She called out, closing the door behind her and stuffing her hands back in her pockets. Slowly, the smell of old blood started to hit her nose, which immediately raised flags in her head. Taking a few strides, she turned into the living room. "So what's..." She didn't even get to the last word of her question before she saw Desmond's and Klyde's condition, her mouth agape at the sight.
She... Had not been expecting this.

"That's....positive thinking I guess." Neko's brows furrowed as he made his way back into the kitchen to make some coffee. He had left the boys with some bottled blood so he wasn't sure what else to do. It would just be a waiting game into Riyo arrived.
He had just managed to pour himself a cup when Riyo came in through the door. "Hey, they're in the other room. Now I warn you they aren't-" But Riyo had already moved so that she could see them, obviously a little shocked by their condition. "...in the best shape....Yeah, I didn't want to tell you over the phone and make you panic."
Klyde had all but dozed off when Riyo arrived, his eyes partially opening at the sound of her voice. "Riyo?" He pushed out sounding tired and worn. Why was she here? Not that Klyde didn't want to see her, now more than ever he wanted to see her, but he hated for her to see him like this.

Immediately Riyo walked over to Klyde's side, looking almost traumatized at the sight of him practically in shreds.
"W..." She tried to start to say something, but nothing had come out. Was this worse than finding Mitsu in the alleyway? Well, sort of, considering. She'd come over expecting something minor and taking her sweet a** time getting here... It made her sick to think about it now.
Temporarily forgetting the fact that she'd been actively trying to keep her nails hidden, Riyo gently placed her hands on either side of her face, doing her best not to cry. "What happened?" She managed to push out, suddenly realizing what Neko had just said.
"... D-didn't want to make me panic?" Immediately her head snapped over to him. "What the ******** made you think I wouldn't panic when I got here? T-this is dramatically different from the way you made it sound on the phone!"

Klyde had started to reach out toward Riyo but she had already snapped around to yell at Neko. "R-Riyo... It's okay. I'll be fine..." But his voice didn't carry far.
"Hey, easy," Neko threw up his free hand defensively. "They're still alive...sorta and we just got here. What good would it have done for you to freak out all the way over here?" Neko spotted the flash of pink but wisely decided not to say a word about it.
"We just ran into some bad company...you know how I can't control my temper. I managed to pick a fight with the wrong person..." Klyde lied. Though, he supposed it wasn't much of a lie. He couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut and Lou was definitely the wrong person to get in a fight with.

It looked like Riyo was about to take another jab, but Klyde's soft-spoken explanation made her retract any negative comments towards Neko.
"What? Did you pick a fight with a rabid elephant or something?" Because it looked like he'd been jabbed with something in a few places. Desmond appeared about the same...
Taking in a deep breath, she tried to calm down, a feeling of helplessness sinking back in. Gently, her fingers ran through his dirty hair. "S-sorry Neko..." Riyo reluctantly apologized, taking a seat on the arm of the chair Klyde occupied.
Desmond didn't say anything to correct his cousin... Because he'd pretty much passed out. Desmond didn't drool when he slept. It had never been a habit... But there was a small trickle falling out from his open mouth. Hey, when you're that worn out, there are some things you just can't help. He couldn't be sophisticated and gentlemanly ALL the time, after all.
