When did he get here?
She turned to the cloaked figure with a frown, eyes lingering on him as he made himself a drink. A pause, and she found herself letting out a dry laugh at his joke, "Maybe if we got drunk, it'll be funny. But good attempt at humor nonetheless." She would have clapped too, to add to her sarcasm, but decided against it; he seemed special enough for her to be cautious.
"He looks like the same guys who briefed us in that classroom. You know, the one we were in before they knocked us out and we woke up in our team's tent," She stated her observation out loud before climbing off the couch. Her frown deepened as she approaching the now shaking door, showing no outward signs of unease or fear as she shrugged, half turning to look at E-4, "They - He - got us to sign our lives over to play this little game, wiped our memories and pretty much ordered us to kill each other off. These things shouldn't surprise you anymore, wouldn't you agree?"
Her gaze then shifted over to E-9, and all she had to give was a shrug, "I wonder... I have a feeling its to keep something out though, judging from his words and reaction... And here, let me give you a hand with that, old man. Heh, seems like you have balls to defy that guy, but I wouldn't want you breaking any dead parts at your age."
She rammed the door after Gamma Two and E-12, rubbing her shoulder; she had no idea what he was talking about. The door seems secure enough to her.

"Piranahs? Shitty deal, man." Seven's shoulders haunched as though he were shuddering, but on the whole the motion was too small to be completely obvious. "Everyone else was okay before that thing attacked me." The olive coloured Gamma turned his head this way and that during the long pause, taking stock of all the people in the room - wow, there were a lot! "Err, I don't see them here yet, so maybe they got away?" Who knows. Who. Knows.
"No, man. Sorry" His attention had turned to Beta Seven, or 'Boss' apparently, frowning behind his mask and more visibly shaking his head. "All I remember was that it looked like the woman's uniforms, and that it was covered with shadow wisps or something. I don't know! It looked like smoke, only way, way darker." He folded his arms across his chest and tilted his head to the side, pondering the question a little more, trying to dredge up any helpful memories.
"Kinda hard to remember a small number when you're getting hit with fists of bricks." Which wasn't entirely accurate, but as close as he was gonna get. It also luckily served to answer the question E-12 posed. In his search of his memory though, he realized one very important thing; his pants were less uncomfortable.
"WAIT." He said as if it were extremely important. "Where did..." Straightening suddenly, Gamma Seven did an odd little shimmy with his lower half, and when he didn't feel that he wanted he pat himself down...
He didn't get a chance to go any further than that, as some glowy thing with a scythe and a cloak appeared, effectively stopping his self-searching for a little blatant staring. That was....what? What was that?! Was it death?! No, it wouldn't be death! This thing was too blue! Too gold! But it...wasn't coming after them? It was telling a joke? An unfunny joke. And drinking?! Lucky b*****d didn't have a mask! OH GOD now it was checking a door?!
Wow, this thing was, uh, certainly something.
"Net? Why would they need a net for us, if we died...?" Seven came to his senses as the others started to talk, only becoming more and more baffled by the whole affair. They were put on an island to die, he died, but now he's being kept somewhere in a net like a fish? A swanky net, but a net nonetheless. He tried to keep up with Beta Seven, but he was too busy staring at the door. He...He kind of wanted to know what was on the other side.
And hey, since Two was throwing himself at it, it couldn't have been so bad! Ha, maybe he was getting this 'BE CAREFUL' thing that Two had always prattled on about!
Being the helpful sort he was, he took his turn trying to get the door to open. He was already dead anyway, what's the worst that could happen?

Gamma One had taken herself away from the others for a time, seating herself and just thinking. She only paid attention when she heard a new voice talking, and rolled her eyes at the feeble attempt at a joke. She started though when he spoke of where they were, that it wasn't any time of afterlife..a failsafe. Against what?
She stood then, turning to watch the figure as they left the room, the door slamming behind them. She walked a few steps towards it, looking at it as if it would tell her all the answers. And that was when it started to bang, as if something was on the other side. She stepped back as the others went forwards, and each tried to force it open. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but it was the only thing that she'd seen used as an exit and so she went over, and braced herself against the door, pushing for all she was worth.

(b8 entering from Dark Cove)
'So this is where I was supposed to go when I died.......what the hell!?!?!?!' He looked around, slightly dazed. It was a lounge~! A bloody LOUNGE~!! He also took note of the many others here, and he flinched behind his mask. What had they all volunteered for??
But then his curiousity peaked as he heard a loud THUD. There was a door.......and they were all taking turns to beat on it? How peculiar. "What's.....going on?" He asked the nearest person.

E-12 wiggled the toes in her boot. That kick had kind of hurt! How did the strange figure do it so effortlessly? E-12 frowned when the other peoples’ efforts were equally as ineffective.
Black smoke? E-12 shuddered. She didn’t like the implications. In fact, she hated the thoughts that were coming to the surface of her mind.
She stared at the door to take her mind off of those thoughts, a frown predominant on her face behind the mask. “The...guy, he ran his finger along the door. What was he feeling for?” Between the strikes of her fellow dead people, E-12 approached the door and ran her hand along the surface. The banging was making it difficult to concentrate and the lack of sensation through her gloves was frustrating. E-12 let her hand fall and stepped away.
“Anyone else up for a shot?”
E-12 noticed the new figure in blue almost immediately. She squinted to make out the number on the side of his helm and froze. It was B-8. But Epsilon team had helped kill B-8! He’d died from the horse’s mind attack at the same time as E-3. And his body had disappeared the same way as the others.
She ran to the newcomer and roughly grabbed his sleeve. “Why weren’t you here before us?” she demanded. “Where did you go when the horse killed you?”

After having rammed the door, yII winced and backed away, rubbing his shoulder. It didn't seem like it was going to budge anytime soon. He also didn't think it was really possible to feel 'pain' while dead, but whatever. It probably would have been weirder to him if he hadn't felt that. With a grimace, he turned upon hearing a new voice. Another person had joined their ranks. The little exchange between the newcomer and eXII was a curious one for sure.
This... bVIII had died earlier?
"I don't think my shoulder could really take slamming into it again," he murmured before looking at the new dead one, "Some guy dressed in a blue cloak carrying a scythe stormed out this door."
There wasn't much to say aside from that.
"Other than that... we're all dead."

(E-3 is returning entering from the Dark Cove.)
E-3 has a very intense sense of deja-vu as she came (or would it be returned?) into the lounge. So many people...why were so many people here...?! Had they all died too?
...Died. She'd died....again...? She remembered the Dark Cove, the fighting there. Killing...she'd killed someone there...And there was Bait! He must've fallen too...?
Oddly enough, E-3 didn't feel as if she was going to have a major breakdown...this was where she was supposed to be. For now, anyway? Maybe she wasn't supposed to have returned in the first place?
Her eyes fell upon flashes of pink. It was that that made the girl finally feel as if she should cry. Her team. Her team, the people who'd needed a medic. So many of that had died...
E-12? Why was E-12 here, talking rather roughly to Bait? Had she died too? E-3 couldn't hold herself back much, and shouted across the room, toward the side where so many people were bashing a door(...?), "E-12!"
With that she ran over to them, scarely minding those around her that she didn't know. Her tone was soft as she spoke again. "You've died, too..." At her question towards Bait, E-3 decided to answer, partially, "Something happened to us...somehow, we ended up back there...then a cloaked figure sent us to the Cove, where they had the four from the text destroy us...I-I don't know why we weren't here...I'm sorry...I'm sorry E-12...I failed our team. I could not be the medic..." E-3 looked away, shame at her inability clawing at her.
Finally she looked back to her once-protector. "So...why were you all beating at a door?"

Bait grunted as E-3 answered for him and wrenched his arm from the other's grip. He really didn't want to be touched, especially by someone who had killed him the first time. He got no satisfaction that some of their team was here with him. He didn't like the idea of others dying. And, once again, his thoughts turned to his team mate, B-3. Hi eyes darted around the room, looking for her. Hoping to God...was there a god here?..that she wasn't in this room with him, that she was still out there protecting herself, that some one had her back like he couldn't. Much like E-3, his guilt at his inability to stay alive gnawed at him from the inside out. He was determined to get back to her.
"Should I try the door?" A simple question, waiting for a simple answer.

Another new voice had popped into the room. Though, this one had a little more of an explanation of what had happened to the pair. Rubbing his shoulder gingerly, he still didn't quite get the whole story of having already died or something like that. Then again, maybe it had to do with what bVII said about some people coming back to life.
Unfortunately eIII had come in right after he explained things to eXII, warranting a sigh.
"Cloaked guy came in, took a drink, and stormed out this door. Hear that rattling? It's from the other side," yII said before looking towards eXII again, "It's up to you really. Either do or don't. The door doesn't look or feel like it's about to budge, but if you want to give it a shot, no one's gonna stop you."

E-3 nodded as another person explained the rattling door. She paused and appeared to process something for a moment, then said, "A black-cloaked figure? Carried some kind of huge blue weapon? Usually makes some kind of joke or something?" She looked at the door, musing for a moment before saying. "I believe he might have been the one who re-killed Bait and I..."
She stared at the rough door. Perhaps she should...what, kick it or something? She wasn't sure if she wanted to incur the potential wrath of the cloaked figure. After all, they were probably one of the ones in control of this crazed place.
She weighed the chances, and then closed her eyes for a moment. She could stay here, or she could attempt the door. Well...perhaps the door?
Approaching the door, E-3 gave it a rather sceptical look. Well, she might as well. It wasn't like it was going to kill her. After all, she'd already died...twice.
And with that, E-3 rammed into the door with her shoulder. It rattled a bit, not really more than before. Oh well...
E-3 shrugged, then looked back E-12 and the others.

So the game was finally picking up huh? Or at least that is what he guessed by the two new arrivals to the lounge, one of which he remembered as their original medic. It was nice to see to see her again since he didn't see her since her original death, and didn't see her here, so he had wondered what happened to her. Maybe now E12 would calm down from her original break down, which was a nice thought.
Resting his head against the wall, E8 slowly turned his pink masked gaze to the sudden disturbance in the lounge
'Who the hell is that guy, thing...whatever? Is he Death, the Grim Reaper come to life?' he asked himself as his unseen brow slowly rose.
He didn't understand a thing. They had died, yet this wasn't the afterlife. It was some kind of net in between? Some kind of net to keep them here, in this place? But why, why would they need to be kept here? He could only guess that his earlier guess was right. Him, or whomever he was working for had some kind of plan, or maybe they needed some kind of judgment before being moved to another place. He didn't know.
"Only time will tell what he has in store for us..."
Slowly rising to his feet, and obviously disobeying the hooded figure's order, E8 followed the rest and made his way towards the door to do his own investigation. That is if ramming the door counted as investigating.

E-12’s attention, quite suddenly, jerked from B-8 to the newest member of their little family: E-3. E-3! She felt B-8’s arm slipped from her grip and cared not one bit. E-3 was here! The girl blinked back sudden tears, feeling a little bit silly.
“I...I have, yeah,” she answered E-3, somewhat lamely. She listened as E-3 explained what’d happened to them since they last saw each other on the battlefield. When the girl got to the part about failing the team, E-12 put her hand on her arm and said “No, I failed you. I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you. But,” she choked a little, “I tried to avenge you. We took out three of those bastards. Afterwards, well, E-5 took over as our medic. She grabbed your bandages before you...your body disappeared. She patched us up pretty well but right afterwards we got this text message. Everyone you see here are the idiots who responded to the message. Everyone but E-13, he made it somehow. It was this giant sick game. I didn’t even see it coming when I died. I just woke up there. Heh, I thought I’d won.”
E-12 considered telling the girl about the flag she’d planted on square 3-E. She decided against it. Now that she thought about it, a tribute in the middle of a bloody board game wasn’t much of anything at all.
She watched the others take their turns hitting the door and shrugged. “It did the same for all of us. Try it if you want, B-8, but it seems stuck now. The cloaked guy felt the door with his fingers, and then complained that it was supposed to be sealed.”
E-12 went to stand next to E-3. Now that she’d found her friend, there was no way in hell, heaven, purgatory, or net that she was letting her out of her sight again.

ε IX fidgeted with the cushion in her lap as she watched the others try their strength on the eerie door. She had a bad feeling about the door, but she couldn't decide if it was due to her own misgivings or to something beyond herself. She weighed the options as they continued to fling themselves at the portal. What was the worst that could happen? They were already dead, but this was not the afterlife, supposedly. Who was that figure to tell them what to do though? But... on the other hand, maybe they were in for a real punishment for not taking orders.
The arrival of another dead squad member was a bit of a surprise, but nothing compared to the weird events they had just endured. She nodded in acknowledgement of the newcomer, but made no other overture as it seemed that they were already at home with another teammate. No need to stir herself until she was good and ready.
As the assault on the door continued, her curiosity grew. The winds on the other side of the door sounded insanely strong, but... hadn't that figure just passed through there? Making up her mind, she chose to throw her lot in with the others attacking the door.
"Stand back a moment," she muttered, then charged the door with her shoulder, adding what she could to their efforts.

So many unanswered questions, and the possibility that everything they wanted to know rested behind that door...well, since everyone else was giving it a go, E-4 figured that she would pitch in. Considering the order, she was certain that the hooded figure was probably going to be pretty mad at them. Who knows what consequences they would face for doing this, but it wasn't as if sitting around helped either (and there was the fact they were all pretty impatient by this point).
Rising from her spot on the floor, she joined the others in the attempt to open the door, throwing all the weight she could muster at it. She slammed into it and then promptly staggered backwards at the impact, clutching at her throbbing shoulder in pain. Ow, that...maybe that wasn't a good idea after all.
And the door? It seemed as sturdy as ever.

As Gamma Seven rubbed his shoulder from the pain he was pretending to have (he didn't nearly throw himself as the door as hard as the others did, apparently), he looked around at the others in the room. Wait...WAIT. ...Gamma One was here, too?! Aw man, there was a bunch of Gammas in this joint now! This was terrible, terribleeee...
He found himself staring at E-12 as she started going on about the appearance of one of the new dead people. While he wasn't sure what all was going on, he did focus on a few key points: People who were supposed to have died a long time ago apparently didn't, everyone who was here was dead, and...hell horses.
"Wait wait wait...How many Hell Horses are there?!" His area had one, the Betas had one...and somehow he skipped that the Epsilons were with the Betas, so as far as he was concerned there were three hell horses out there.
"What the ******** is this island? None of these things should exist!"
