Eta III jumped back from the shadow like figure he had originally slashed at, hoping to be out of range when the creature decided to return the blow but as he jumped away something hit him from behind. 'Guff,' the blow knocked a little wind out of him and he staggered slightly having not been prepared for the blow, he caught his breath quickly and slashed out in the direction the first blow to him had originally come from.

The dagger bit into a solid target and he felt his nerve steadying; that damn pony, someone had hit it to have gained the pendant he presumed but it was still out there in this darkness, all he wanted was for this darkness to lift and these damn monsters to be vanquished. He hoped this would end soon but something told him this was just the beginning, he readied himself for what might come next.

Gamma 12 didn't quite -scream- at the pain inflicted upon her, but she did whirl around, swatting whoever it was who had assaulted her away before making her own efforts to move from where she was, clutching at her side and furrowing her brows together. Dammit, who had attacked her?

She wasn't sure and honestly, in all the chaos she didn't quite care to work on revenge more than keeping herself alive.... which was about when she took to only attacking anything that moved near her.....

It was pure and utter chaos all around him. yII could see shadow fiends striking out at one another when they should be allies. Something wasn't quite right, but he was too antsy to really think about it in full detail. His eyes darted back and forth, trying to figure out what he should strike, if anything. Raising the gun once more, he fired off a few shots, dissipating a few of the shadows.

Then he heard its booming voice once more. Wait. It said that someone now had the pendant. That meant the others were still around and he wasn't alone amongst these horrible monsters! yII tried to make out where the others were, whether they were Gamma or Blue N's but couldn't make them out. All he saw were these shadows. It then occurred to him, that some of the shadows might not really be monsters meaning he'd have to be a lot more careful with his shots.

He moved on through the fog, trying to be as vigilant as possible. Yes, someone now had the pendant, but he did not want it right now. If he had it and others knew, he would no doubt be on his way to the gallows soon enough.

However, that proposition that the hell horse gave was tempting. Picking out who was one of the humans and who was the hell horse would not be easy. Keeping his gun at hand, he slunk around warily, peering hard at the shadows to see if he could pick out who was who.

"Come on, Kate. Keep it together. Keep it together. Don't shoot yourself, and keep it together."

Wait, when the ******** did she become Kate?

"JACK YOU SON OF A b***h," she shouted, pistol-whipping another figure into a puff of smoke, only to see it reappear several feet away. She squeezed the trigger once more, trying to take the damn thing out.

And once again, missing.

This b***h must have been so bad at Halo.

With her gun failing her, Gamma Three snatched up Gamma Twelve's weapon and tucked the nunchucks into her boot. That could come in handy.

Eta VIII is hurts herself in her confusion! And sadly, the first time she causes damage it's to herself, go figure.

The booming voice of what Eta VIII assumed was the horse was more than enough to cause the girl to bring her hands up to her head, covering the sides of her helmet where her ears would have normally been. The sound was grating, and quite honestly, actually seemed to hurt more than the pain the chaos around her was causing.

At one point, one of the monsters had punched her in the kidney, and another had attempted to reach her but had failed. The notion that she was simply not a fighter seemed to course through her, and for a moment, she stood amidst the chaos and tried to make sense of it all. Failing rather miserable, she lowered her hands from her helmet and took a step back. Then another, and another until she turned around and tried to run away from it all. Unfortunately, the smoke and mist made it impossible for her to escape, and all she managed was to trip on a rock (or was it a root? She couldn't tell), sending her flying face first to the ground with another yelp.

She swallowed vile that threatened to climb up her throat and then tried to shrink away from the carnage around her, making herself as small as possible on the ground. She just wanted to go home, and failing that... she wanted to find Eta I, II and III. She hoped they were fairing better than she was.
