Arachne almost let out a giggle from pent-up emotions at the sound of Sepheran's sibilant voice. She didn't want to make him feel bad though (and that in itself was a huge change wrought by events both before and during the trip), and she didn't mention it, she just hugged him again and gave a little hiccupy-sob.
'I didn't want you to be gone either. I wanted to wait for you but after everyone..everyone.' she shut her eyes. She didn't have to dwell on them dying because it hadn't been real, they hadn't die. She would long see the images however.
She pulled back a little, and looked at him, giving him a tentative smile, nervous suddenly as she wanted to say something.
'Thank you. For everything. For letting me, well cling to you would be the word. For being there. I like you Sepheran. I would..umm.' she lowered her voice, aware that they weren't far from others.
'Liketospendtimewithyouandgettoknowyouproperly.' she words came out in a sudden rush, but she was glad she had said them. She only hoped they would be received better than the last time she had confessed to a boil.

"Christmas was awesome," West replied, unable to keep the grin off of his face. Sure, there hadn't been that much food or bathing involved, but there had been EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000s and psychotic Death Charms and... Jingleberry. The demon was glad he hadn't died on this trip if only because it meant he might still be able to best the peppermint ninja some day. If West was going to die fighting anyone, that was who he wanted it to be.
His reverie was interrupted by the hell hound's next words. "So y'really died?" Yep, Holly seemed to confirm it. Hmph. He was glad he had avoided all that then. Did that mean... well, he couldn't ask either of these two if all those bodies in the cove had been students since neither of them had made it that far. He had thought so, but had convinced himself that maybe that wasn't true once they had all been rescued. He supposed he could overlook all of the smooching... for now. A little gift from him to them in light of this new information.
As he mulled over what Holly and Damien told him, West's grin faded and his brows re-furrowed. "There were kids there? After y'died? What were they doin'?"

"Yes, I'm alright," Barth said, already floored. "West too. And Tomoko. I thought I saw Sepheran somewhere about, at the end. When the fellow with the huge blade appeared I half expected it to be made out of that damn peppermint. ...Have you err, seen anyone else? Everything got a bit chaotic after we got back to the beach."
He never should have left the beach in the first place. But to be honest, he wasn't sure if the students there had fared any better. He had gotten a pendant out of it. Whatever those where for.

For a moment or two, Bul didn't say anything until the overwhelming, intense flux was over. Her voice confirmed she was doing well enough now after dying. Of course, Bul wondered if it had hurt or not but the question was inappropriate to just ask.
Pulling back enough to continue conversing, the half beast shook his head and sighed. "Well... after you fell-" he paused of course, "-a cloak from much earlier on the island showed their face and it was a ghoul! She like... built this bridge thing to shuffle people over but a lot of people didn't make it... including Seiji. We ended up somewhere else after that and waited around for a portal. When that finally worked it was just darkness... oh jack.."
Bul turned his head away for a moment, reliving the darkness of the cove. The blood smell wasn't what got to him definitely no. He could feel and see body parts of students that were walking along side him. After so much tension it legitimately got to him whereas in any other situation it may not have.
He appeared to regain his composure when he realized he was happier with the thought of Mei falling than being sliced into pieces. "Finally we got to whoever the ******** was doing all this... there was maybe 15 of us... probably less..." he said. "And then the teachers came.. and stopped the cloaks from attacking any further... but from there it's really just been a blur..." Bul frowned now and rubbed the back of his head. "I feel like... we didn't do anything... nobody won.."
Looking up now he worked his way back to a weak smile. "But... I think that... now... knowing that everyone's safe... maybe we DID win?" he said and let his tail loosely wrap around the side of them. "Still... Mei, I am so sorry I... I should've been more careful and I should've helped you across... I feel like there was more I could have done for you.." he apologized, feeling a bit guilty for having made it so far but only because of her and Seiji and the help of all his fellow students.

Amrita looked surprised when Christof touched her hand, but she didn't try to jerk it away, nor did she try to leave. Instead she smiled at him, nodded once, and slipped away quietly; she wanted to go find Charlie now.
-----------------------
Mac didn't appreciate how hard it had become to attempt to get out of the hug, but in the end he made it...no thanks to Lizzy. Why was he worried over her, again? Hm. Oh, it was comments like that, that was why...he definitely appreciated that.
"Yeah...that's Charlie alright. He'll be fine...I don't think he'd miss a pizza party for anything." He was pretty sure that the boil could completely avoid death if pizza was promised...and he hoped he found his way back for the exact same reason. Soon enough, his gaze fell on Arachne, and he offered her a smile.
"You too." He expressed to the Demoness he'd been with one way or another since the boats. "You look a lot less sour now, welcome home." Mac said, as nice as he was going to get apparently. He was smiling at least, and that was always a good thing, right? Right.
He did perk up at the mention of a DS.
"Oh, I have a bunch of gaming systems at my dorm. I'm sure we could figure something out." Was he jumping on the opportunity to unload some system rages? Yes, yes he was. Contacts and bartering FTW!
"But first...I need to find Charlie." It wasn't a simple, fleeting need either. He wanted his best friend back, though probably to beat him for being so stupid and falling into the same trap Lizzy had. "Excuse me." He offered rather politely, backing away from the ghouls (and Sepheran) to instead go wandering through the crowd.
"CHARLIE! Where are you?! Chaaaarlie~"

Sepheran shook his head lightly, "It's alright, everything issss alright...I ssssaid it would be didn't I?" Sepheran replied though blinked a bit when he saw her blurry form move back slightly.
"Hm...? You're welcome...I like you too Arachne," Sepheran replied. She seemed like such a lovely ghoul, a good friend. His thoughts drifted to Myr for a moment. He hoped the other boil was alright. Besides Lizzy it seemed all his other friends or acquaintances were do to "field trips". Still..it was nice to have friends.
It took him a little bit longer to sort out what Arachne said afterwards but he smiled, "Of coursssse~ I'd love to sssspend more time with you sssometime," he replied not at all getting the hint of what Arachne was really trying to say.

"Was it?" Holly hadn't been on that trip. Well technically speaking she resulted from it but how or why she didn't know. Was she doomed to die every trip? The ghoul reminded herself to ask him more about it some other time though. "Not very fun to do again...but wait. Demi you saw the same thing really?" This was all too strange.
She nodded. "Bunch of kids from here, like not humans. They were just standing there. Not doing anything but standing. The fog was gone too." Neither had she been able to move but the boil didn't need to know that.

Mandy buried her head into his shoulder, thankful they where on the ground otherwise she couldn't have done so without a footstool, and listened to the vibrations as he talked, a confirmation of reality to her.
"S'good. That they where all ok. Was kinda - flashbacky. Blades again. I-I haven't seen anyone else, no. M'sorry. Lost Winnie again, fog stole her when we reached the Lighthouse."
Regret flooded her voice at her last words, how had she kept going with her Winnie lost in there? Why hadn't she waited and searched for her, dragged her on?
"...W-What happened to you after the crash?"
Slightly more coherent, whole scentence even, but hesitant, not sure if she wanted the answer.

Sarias was grinning at Riley as she responded with the same haunting stare she was known for. It was good some things never changed, not even after death. She was about to say more when strong arms caught her off guard, for a second she thought it might be Icky. Tensing slightly she went with the twist of his pull, her hand turning into a knotted fist...to punch his smelly lights out for bailing on her! When instead her eyes rested on Seiji, glistening, half naked Seiji. And he was smiling, smiling at her.
"Oh Seiji" She whispered as her grabbed her in his arms and hugged the life out of her. It was brief, over all to sudden, but what it meant. "...thank you." She mumbled, eyes wide she was lost for a second, who was she again? Oh yeah Sarias, Sarias Blacksling, the b***h.
"Ha!" She cried after him as he ran off to Junko. "If you think that willl get you out of doing me that favour your sadly mistaken boil!!!" She screeched jumping and waving her arms at him. "Haha, you'll be begging for more after I am done with you!" Her words were lost on his ears as he took Junko in his arms. She gagged slightly, such public displays of affection, everyone throwing promises of undying love at each other. It would make any sane ghoul retch with horror. The problem was half of them were undead anyway, promises were made to be broken, love was not made to last, Sarias just had to let people see that, one way or another.
and she was the ghoul to do just that.

"The ghoul who gave us the useless key?" She had actually shown herself to them? "and she helped all of you..?" Now he had lost her. Last thing she remembered about the cloaks, was that they were trying to kill them, and that the crazy ghoul wanted to take all of their skulls.. Upon hearing Seiji had also died, she snapped her mouth shut. He had fell as well? How many of them did make it? She continued to listen, the word 'darkness' practically forcing her to cringe at the thought.
Only fifteen students had survived..? Out of all who had gone? "The teachers..? I'm guessing they hadn't given an explanation for anything?" She grumbled, frowning at the idea that they had been sent out on a suicide trip/mission. This whole trip.. It was a waste of time. Brushing her hair from blocking her view, she lowered her head, attempting to wrap her mind around everything that had happened.
Lifting her head, she worked a small smile upon her lips again. "If everyone is alive, then there's no better victory." She added. She would take the safety of everyone rather than anything else they could have gained.
Shaking her head as he began, "No, don't blame yourself for what happened. I.. I was stupid for trying to cross that chasm with a busted leg." Returning her gaze to the ground once again, "I.. I'm sorry. For everything that happened."

'There were many moments when I wasn't sure of anything. Just that you were, ever present and comforting.' Arachne said, softly, reaching to squeeze his hand.
'You do?' her head went up as he said he liked her, but then when he added that he would be happy to spend time with her 'sometime' she wondered if he had gotten how fervently she'd expressed her like. She did want to be friends with him, he was hard not to be friends with but she wanted - well she wanted to hold his hand, and hug him excessively, and and..
'Like, just us spending time. A date sort of thing..kind of like that.' she added hastily, realising that she'd just asked a boil out pretty much, but she was a demon and could handle this. Right?

After the crash? The boat crash? Barth did some mental shuffling.
"Floated around in the ocean a bit. Before washing up on shore. All the fog was there, you know, so it was a bit hard to see. Picked up the supplies. You know, err, what they gave us. Weapon. Flashlight. Didn't end up using the flashlight much. Wandered around in the fog a bit."
There had been a lot of wandering around in the fog.
"There were a few, err, attacks, so after that I headed over to the cornfield. I was hoping it would be safer there, but someone set it on fire. Err..." he skipped over his dad and Christof trying to kill him. "I rode an elevator. Very old. Not in the best repair, and it was during a fire, but stairs were the alternative. There was a laboratory under the cornfield. And the portal, of course. After the ceiling started collapsing, we made it through to the Cove, and err- and after that," he swallowed.
"There weren't many of us left, after that. West, as I said. And Carry. I thought we'd had it, until the school secretary showed up. Hellma talked the fellow out of duking it out, and....here we are."
There. The whole situation. From start to finish.

....... West was smiling. SMILING. Damien paled at the sight of it, it couldn't have meant something good to anyone other than West himself. He decided to move just a few steps away from west to the more sane holly as she talked about what she noticed.
And it was very similar to his own experience. He couldn't help but nod along to what the fox ghoul was saying. "They weren't meat puppets, just kids. Hey, were they all facing the same direction where you were too?" It couldn't have been a coincidence, she was there also. "That's the strange thing Grumpy." He said as West was stuck in his happy daydream... ugh...it gave him the willies. "There was no fog there, just hoards and hoards of these..... kids." he said in finality, there really was no other way to describe it. "What happened on your side West, any information we should know about, like that figure that led us to that...... Tell me you punched it in the face." He asked scowling darkly at the portal that wasn't far away from them, a reminder of what occurred not long ago.

Malodore just kept saying these things, these beautiful things that overloaded Riley's emotional sensory input. It was terrible and wonderful all at once. She dropped her hands from it's face and clung to it's jacket, turning her head to look up at Jericho as he was pulled in. One of her own arms wrapped around the dragon as well, and she buried herself into the two. There was a strange, unnerving feeling of nostalgia, as she felt herself pressed against both bodies, and her hand twitched for a moment in recollection. She reached up and ran one finger down the length of her face, where she still remembered the cold kiss of blade metal sever her in two.
She didn't want to remember that particular moment anytime soon. The warmth and comfort she felt in their arms now was all she wanted in her mind.
A stray voice reached her, and she realized Sin had been trying to convey a thought to her. She looked up, and met eyes with the fellow demoness, expression a fierce emotion-filled response without having to say a word. She nodded to the ghoul's question, before dropping her head back down again.
She had a lot to talk about. With a lot of people. Just.. not right now.

Sepheran blinked tilting he head slightly, "Courssse," he said lightly though her next statement seemed to reach him as he flushed red against his normally pale face. Date...she wanted to go on a date...with him? Sepheran was quite shocked...more so because this was his first time having someone confess to him...well someone who made it clear anyway.
It took a nudge from Liannan as she hissed lightly staring up at him for him to finally reply. Suddenly he felt a little embarrassed and closed his eyes. "D-Date...? I-If you're fine with me...I...I'd like that..." Sepheran replied lightly reaching a hand to rub the back of his head.
