Pix look back to the young mechanic that return with the new devices. She grab one, looking closely to expect it as he explain the working of the thing. "Interesting work you have here. A bit bigger than I thought but this is something to be proud of. I'll take that booklet to memorize it." She glance over to him with a light smile. "As of that rank up, or you sure you don't want it? You must realize, that I am not aloud you to learn any C rank skills at all until you reached that level yourself. This here you've made, proven me enough that you have the knowledge of making something on your own. It's a fine enough test that shows you have the potential work on your mechanic even further.... Test are not always about your body strength." She added to him. Giving out the reason why she suggested the rank up to him.
Pix than look over to Devrin that addressed to her. She never saw him in his human form before so for a second there he was nothing but a stranger to him. He closely to him, noticing the sharp reptile yellow eyes, but her magical jem help her even further by raveling Devrin true body through her eyes. "Ah, Davrin, nice to see you." She quickly reply. "Are you so curtain to pay for mine? It's offly generous but I often buy expensive shots, but only because I get the 'Captain' discount." She let out a chuckle.

Pix's eye's slightly shine as he caught her attention of mentioning gold and jewels. "Heh. right. Just like regular dragons that sleep on top of their gold." She couldn't help but chuckle along with him. She wounder how it even possible to sleep ontop pile of metals. Is it even comfortable. Douse Devrin have a pile of gold to sleep on? Pix would like to try sleeping on it. Her greedy side is longing for it.

The teen noted the fact that the woman was not pleased with the size of the radio. Something he would make sure to improve upon in the future. Nodding at the Captain's comments, Aruil proceeded to pack up the other two radios once again. Pix completed her inquiry about his promotion just as the young human was finishing up. The mechanist was less than thrilled about the situation, "If that is the only way ma'am. I will do my best not to make you regret bestowing this upon me."Aruil bowed to the Captain and started to take a step away before stopping, "I know this is redundant but does this mean I'm authorized to study those skills ma'am?"

Aruil was unfamiliar with the individual that had called out to him, but was aware enough to note that he had been speaking with Pix. Despite his initial feeling of not owing any sort of explanation to the person, the teen thought better about his course of action. More than likely to be able to simply sit and drink with the Captain of the Guard this male had to be someone of importance. However he would not show the same degree of rigidity as he had to Pix. The young human slowly slid his hands into his pockets and cocked his head towards Devrin, "A device for speaking over long distances, mister..."Aruil deliberately let his voice trail off to indicate the lack of introduction.

Hearing no protest from Captain Ban as to the legitimacy of Devrin's claim, Aruil saw no harm in satisfying the other mechanists curiosity. In fact it may be nice to have a second set of eyes and thoughts to bounce concepts off of later on. At his current juncture though, the young human merely wanted to learn as much as he could about the basics. Without much hesitation the teen removed his bag yet again and handed one of his remaining two radios to the odd male. While slinging the now near-weightless pack on his back again, "Aruil bin Raheem. Keep it. It does no good for me to have a device that can't be used because no one else has a receiver. Feel free to make any modifications or improvements."

Pix shut her mouth a little for the two boys to talk a bit to one another. They better start knowing each other for they very much need to watch each others backs. "Aruil, you are authorized to study any C rank relating skills now. I advise you study all that you can before I through you a real challenge since your so disappointed from this one." She said to him. The boy was not so thrilled about his rank up, which made Pix a bit un-happy. It's getting her near that he's not appreciating enough what he have and what she give him.
"As for you, sir Goldheart." She look over to him, getting his attention. "You're looking for a mission, than I will give one to you... How do you feel about bird hunting?" She let out a grin.

"Not quite..." Pix snicker. "You will be capturing than killing... I need you to catch me some Dirge humming bird. I want to try doing some experiment on them, I'm very interested with their paralyze toxin they have on their beak." Aruil simply bowed to Pix and nodded at Devrin. While he didn't feel he had truly earned his rank he did not want to give the Captain any reason to regret her decision. Thus the teen immediately turned and departed the bar. There was a great amount of training opportunity now available to him and he did not want to waste a moment of the time. Seeing the gauntlet built by Devrin had given the young man several ideas for himself and all of which required his knowledge to expand well beyond its current limitations. The conversation that the two delved into was lost on Aruil as he rapidly departed back to the barracks. (exit to Base)
