[ X_Bleeding Roses_X ] Mandy didn't question why the figure was just letting her attack without fighting back instead she just considered herself lucky after her last taste of the whips abilities. The fact it was glowing brighter was not comforting. A feeling came over her that it was time to finish this, they'd had their odd exchange and now one must beat the other - such was the way of these things. Eyes narrowing in concentration she threw her all into a last attack. Only to completely miss.What? This was not part of their pattern. HP: 19
Damage: 0
The figured seemed vaguely disappointed at the miss, its shoulders slumping a little as it shook its head. Rushing forward at the ghoul, it lashed out, whip flying; if not for the fact that it was dangerous, the glowing green whip was actually rather pretty to look at as it was swung forward, hitting her on the arm. Then, the figure leaped back to put some distance between them.
It paused, then nodded, as if to say 'that's how its done'.

The figured seemed vaguely disappointed at the miss, its shoulders slumping a little as it shook its head. Rushing forward at the ghoul, it lashed out, whip flying; if not for the fact that it was dangerous, the glowing green whip was actually rather pretty to look at as it was swung forward, hitting her on the arm. Then, the figure leaped back to put some distance between them.
It paused, then nodded, as if to say 'that's how its done'.
HP: 1
Damage: 5 At the figures slump Mandy gained a slightly horrified and aplogetic look on her face as the feeling of disappointing a liked authority figure crept over her. It was probably this that led to her not even attempting to dodge the next whip strike, she kinda deserved it after that hidious failure. Only about a second later she regretted any feelings of atonement as her breath left her in a woosh from the drain. Stumbling sideways slightly she shook her head, trying to clear the unnatural fatigue from her head. Gripping her bat tighter and summoned the energy to charge forward again. Only, only her energy was so low now that it was hard to get the hits again causing her to once again miss. The look she sent the figure said, Im sorry about this - I know I can do better.

The look prompted another head shake from the figure, although it was hard to tell if it was just expressing disappointment again or telling her that it was alright. Either way, it jumped forward, giving a flick of the wrist to bring the whip down the the ghoul again, this time striking her on her shoulder. LOOT: POST MINIPET PROFILE + RP PICKING UP PENDENT PLZ! Returning the bow as it only felt appropriate Mandy watched silently as the figure disappeared off into the fog. It was because of this she saw and tracked the pendant, moving forward to where it rested and picking it up before delicately putting it over her head, proudly wearing it. That fight had been odd, satisfying but odd. And despite the fatigue that now dragged down her limbs she was starting to feel herself again like she hadn't since the bait crashed. The figure had if nothing else earned Mandys respect, an odd thing for an enemy to earn. Now just to find her way back to the others. (( Profile~))

Sepheran didn't mind Arachne sticking so close to him, he was actually slightly glad for the ghoul gave off some much needed body heat for him to feed off of and drive away the cold that had begun to creep over his body. Besides, it was a boil's job to try and help out ghouls as much as possible, at least that's how he viewed such things anyway, so he made no move to drift away at all.
Instead he now focused on the note racking his brain for some sort of answer. "Let Liannan see it," Sepheran replied maneuvering himself towards the desk.
Bending over he let Liannan take a good look at it having her relay what she saw to him. Pausing a moment he turned towards the others. "What about this?" Sepheran stated pointing to the note...
Sepheran had been busy talking about the hint explaining his thoughts on the matter (he was blind but he had an excellent brain) that he hadn't even noticed Mandy's disappearance yet. "What do you guys think?" Sepheran finished turning to the others in his group.

Petro had kept silent the entire trip, thinking that their assailants were drawn to their voices. Perhaps his theory was correct given Mandy's disappearance but he didn't realize it just yet. When Lizzy presented them with this mental problem, he knew he was going to sit this one out. The tikbalang's first solution in solving problems was to hit things. But even he could see hitting a piece of paper would do them no good. "Y' guys can handle that stuff, yeah?" he nodded, giving Sepheran a hopeful grin.
To feel relatively useful, he made another quick recount of their group, realizing Mandy was missing?! When did she get separated from the rest of them? Did she run off on her own? No, that seemed unlikely given how she'd clung to the headless(?!?) ghoul.
"Where'd that ghoul, uh, Mandy go?" he asked.

Out of the shadows stepped Mandy, obviously battered and tired from a battle but with an air of happiness around her.
It hadn't been that hard to find the group again, with the confined spaces of the ship it was much easier to track her path back to them, for that she was thankful. The fog was thick enough to turn her round without it.
"Y'all miss me?", a cheeky grin spread across her face as she said that. She almost seemed like a different ghoul to before, it appeared she'd fully snapped back to reality thanks to the fight and was now kicking.

Petro turned towards the voice, narrowing his eyes at the newly appeared monster ghoul. While he had blamed the two ghouls for drawing the attacks on them, they'd already been traveling as a herd from the two ships. And in Petro's head, that meant everyone was now part of the herd.
His herd.
Added the fact that it never sat well with Petro that a ghoul could have been in danger. "Where'n Jack's name'd y' go!? Ain't safe going off on y'r own!" he growled.

Mandy's body posture immideatly changed to annoyed at Petro's behavior. Lips pulling back in a silent snarl she saractistically snapped back at him, "Oh I don't know I just felt like going for a nice stroll in the fog- WHAT THE JACK DO YOU THINK HAPPENED? I GOT NABBED. DID NONE OF YOU HEAR ME SCREAM?"
Aaaah rage, how she missed yea.

Oh, oh, a ghoul was yelling at him. Her aunts and cousins back home had proven to Petro he will never win against a ghoul in yelling. He planted his feet firmly on the ground, arms rigid by his side, hands balled into fists. Petro may have zero chances of winning (or getting his point across, he wasn't the most articulate of boils) but he was still going to try, "Y' THINK IF WE HAD WE'DA LET Y' GO IT ALONE?!" That was what he'd feared. These things were trying to separate them from each other and Jack damn it, they were good at it.

Petro may know his aunts and cousins but he'd never had a screaming match with a Drop Bear because Mandy did the completely opposite thing and started smiling.
"Well then, I'm happy your all deaf! I had a lot of funny battling mine on my own. They where a bit odd, very respectful!"
Smile, smile smile.
Had her opponent knocked something loose?
(Mac and Winnie would both realize this was just Mandy being her usual crazy self.)

Petro was visibly taken aback by Mandy's reaction. He'd expected the yelling to continue, escalate even, and not just... stop abruptly. He blinked and stared at her, wondering if this was a trick. "'M not deaf. This place's just weird," he frowned back at her, folding his arms across his chest. "'M gonna guess y're not hurt, but are y' all right?" he asked, suspicious of her behavior, not knowing this was just normal for her.

Mandy was postitivly bouncing on the spot at Petros reaction, she secretly reveled in the confusion for attitude could cause.
At the question of being hurt Mandy looked slightly sheepish, truth be told whilst the whip hadn't physically hurt her that much, maybe a bruise or two, she was wiped energy wise.
"A-Ahhhh, I'm not too badly done, just that energy sucking thing of there's. Tired s'all."
