For him, the fog was nothing. It was like a pleasant gloom that made him feel at home and it certainly kept him nice and moist. Flicking his hair, he had heard Riley's voice, as annoying as it was, and knew that Christof and possibly Barth would be following her. While he wasn't one for falling the purple ghoul, he knew that if he wanted to not be left all by himself to face whatever terror the old-fashioned reaper had prepared, he'd need to follow some group. Despite how much Christof had been annoying, he didn't know anyone else close enough to follow. So, following Riley's vague directions, he followed her only on because his friend would be tagging along. Point: He was following Christof, not Riley.
So, staying close to his bros, he followed them away from the tent and the warm fire and off into the unknown.

Finally a familiar voice called to Bul. He turned his head in the crowd when he heard his name and navigated until he found the silhouetted figure of his Hungry Ghost friend. "Seiji, yo!" he called loudly to make sure he noticed him too, granted Bul stood out quite a bit with his height and hair.
He had a rusty pipe in one hand and a knapsack slung over his shoulder when he approached. Having been there for a little while now he was starting to feel a little more comfortable with the amount of people around. "Dude this s**t has been crazy I'm guessing your boat crashed too? How do you manage to crash a fleet of boats all on the same island at nearly the same time?" he asked frustratedly. "Oh you better go grab some s**t before it's all gone..." he said then crooned his head when there arose a short silence and a hooded figure began to speak. Bul narrowed his eyes and impatiently tapped the bat in the palm of his hand like a batter ready to swing.
"What the hell does that mean..." Bul snarled under his breath in Seiji's direction.

"Oh yes. Quite done, it looks like. Hello, Christof." Not that he expected a verbal response, especially. But Christof barely looked at him. The fog made everything cool, and they were all wet. It was hard to tell if Christof really had been crying.
"Our ship crashed too," he confided, finally. "Not sure how long I was on the water. But Tomoko was out there for three days before we found her. Earlier. Before the crash. We must have hit something. I guess everyone is washing up here."
Suddenly, it was of the Forbidden Forest, Part II.
The hood, the weapon.
And the words.
Easy targets.
"I'll err, with you," he said haltingly, before trailing after Riley into the fog. He hadn't seen West, or Colette, but Riley was one of the strongest person he knew, and if Christof was with her anyway...

Alessa let Ren lead her over a bit to the tent and when urged to sit down, she did so gratefully. Her knees practically gave out half of the way down. It felt so Jack damn good to be off her feet. Normally Ren's hovering would have made her a little embarrassed, but she was honestly too tired for it. When he brushed hair from her face she only sighed briefly, looking exhausted. When he hugged her she clung to him both for the support and the comfort. "I just hope he's okay," she mumbled into his shoulder. She hadn't been a very good companion too the poor ghost pup; she'd been too sick for most of the ride. She hated it, too. She would have liked to think she could have done better than that.
And suddenly, well really not suddenly but her senses were a bit dulled, Ren was off. Off to see...
"Jove!" She barely managed to call. She wasn't sure if he could even hear her, her voice wasn't that strong right now. "Thank Jack. I was worried when I didn't see you..." It was then that the strange hooded figure appeared. Alessa paled a little, just because she knew she wasn't in any condition to fight. Gabe coming to stand near her made her feel both better and worse. She certainly didn't want to handicap her friends...luckily the figure came and went. Her sigh of relief shook her visible.
Despite the fact that she had just sat down, she forced herself to stand again. Shakily she took a knapsack and a tree branch, as she really couldn't carry much right now, and took a few steps over to join the others. Though she still looked rather awful, her expression was a stubborn one. She wasn't going to sit around. Shivering at the appearance, and then disappearance, of the hooded figure she mumbled to the others, "I guess I we can't afford to rest." She added, trying to seem positive, "I'll go wherever you go." She would follow them off, where ever then went. It had been bad enough being separated once. She wanted stick close to Ren, Jove, Gabe, and LW if she could. So when Gabe started to leave, she followed, if slowly.

Huh, no response. He must have been mistaken, then. Petro's brows knitted together in growing frustration at the shadowy figure's disappearance, not knowing Riley had just moved elsewhere. He growled angrily at all this fog surrounding him, "Lintik naman ito."
Then he heard a familiar voice. Relieved, he called out "Lizzy!" He wasn't certain where she was and stumbled about until he found her carrying an unconscious manananggal. He stared, not expecting to ever see one of those undead. "Lemme carry her," he offered, reaching out, and walking with them. "What's going on?" He asked her when all of a sudden a stranger appeared.
A stranger with a weapon!
Tro immediately placed himself in front of Lizzy, ready to act as her shield. But it seemed all the mysterious figure wanted to do was talk about spreading out. Spreading to avoid being targets? What? Tro was now even more confused and worse, he was getting agitated. He was likely to lash out at the least provocation. Hopefully, Lizzy would be able to reign him in.

"Crash. Boat." Savior was pretty, pretty proud that she knew those two words, considering she'd heard them screamed at the time of impact and the students that were mulling about on the strange shore she now found herself on were repeating them in smattered conversations. The Marrowstripe had found herself at a lost (initially) when she'd come upon the group partly because she didn't recognize anyone (even those from her own boat!) and partly because she didn't recognize where she was. Of course she was in the same boat, so to speak, as the others but she wasn't so sure how to properly convey that.
It was in her best interests to watch the others go about their business and she made sure to copy their movements as some of them got what appeared to be supplies; she took some of the same with her since it looked like the right thing to do and Savior didn't want to be the odd thumb out. It also didn't hurt her chances that she may have witnessed that stranger come up and do something but seeing as it vanished without much of a trace. . . well, the monster wasn't worried.
When it looked like nothing else was going on and people were, well. . .mingling, Savior happened to spot something large and purple heading off in a direction all their own. She really, really wanted to know what that purple was and so Savior started off after the figure, her feet carrying her easily across the ground.

Suddenly, someone was nearby. Someone strange and imposing. Sort of...the fact that he was interrupted by a phone call made it a little less frightening. Don't stay together? But that was crazy talk! Junko was determined to find her friends, damnit! And find them she would!

They had been one of the last ships to go, and boy do they go. Their ship had crashed into the shore of the island at a speed nobody would have guessed it could have reached, looking at the size of the thing. Raziel had managed to be thrown overboard, but since he could swim, he made haste in getting to the island. Once on shore, he paused for a moment, trying to survey his surroundings. There was a strange tent and TONS of other students around. He knew this was going to be a large trip since it was mandatory and all, but Raziel didn't even know most of them. He was slightly taken aback for a moment, but quickly forced back to the present when the black cloaked figure showed up. Easy Targets? OH JACK. This was like the Christmas Raid all over again, except this time they had no real goal. They didn't know where they were or what they were supposed to be doing. Hellma had organized a massive drop of them here, with no explanation. This was probably all an event plot to get rid of them all. OH JACK OH JACK OH JACK. Raziel tried his best to not show what was going through his head. He was fairly certain that it couldn't be seen, and as he moved forward he grabbed a wooden sword from the supplies table and a bag. As he armed himself with these objects, he began to forget his fears and gain curiosity. What was this place? What else was out there...? "Does anybody want to go exploring that way?" Raziel asked, somewhat loudly so that anyone standing nearby could hear him. He didn't know many of the other students, so he figured this might be a good chance to get to know one, all the better if they were just as curious as him. "There's some trees over this way that have some marks in them as though somebody slashed through the undergrowth to go somewhere..."((Raziel has his four posts, profile ))

((Rain has four posts so should be good: Meeki )) Rain was already in the water when the Overboard had crashed into some jagged rocks. It had been such a loud crash, it was almost like lightning crashed striking nearby. She was thankful to not have been on the boat as it banged from rock to rock but her position wasn't much better. She was constantly lurching forward from the waves. It was a terrifying feeling, having no control over what was going on but seeing it unfold before you. She had no idea how the other students fared on the boat and what about the boil they had been trying to rescue? Another wave came and she braced herself for the inevitable crash that was to come. She remembered seeing the rock, then a flash of white and then it was dark. --- She awoke on the beach, a heavy gash in her head. The coagulated blood oozed out slowly, thick like molasses. All in all, it wasn't too bad. Her pants were torn in various places and she had lost about half of her bandages. Both her shoes were missing too and she wiggled her blue toes, still littered with sand. One of her pigtails had come undone so she took down the other, running her hand through them to get it looking somewhat nice. It was rare for her to have her hair down but she really didn't have much of a choice. Her body was battered, bruised and her appearance a lost cause. Rain looked a mess and furthermore, she felt a mess. She pushed herself up and looked around. The sand felt odd beneath her feet as she walked over to the tent to peer inside. It didn't take long for it to register that they were items for her, or rather all the students. At least this one didn't have yellow snow. She grabbed a brown knapsack and walked over to the weapons table. There were so many choices but she went with her gut instinct and grabbed the old wooden bat. She felt comfortable with sporty items like that and old wood was usually strong wood. The last table was empty so maybe she was one of the last to arrive? Oh well, at least she had a bat. She walked out of the tent to look for any friends. She was still out of it and she looked and felt so horrible. At least she was still alive.. well, figuratively speaking. This was.. man, this was not good. She could barely think straight. She was sure the ocean had jarred her brain loose or something. She felt so strange.

Ah! Two people accounted for, awesome. "Yo, you alright there?" He met the half-beast with a bump of knuckles, grinning in relief as it appeared his friend was not only in one piece, but unhurt. "Ya, our boat wrecked too. I'm really not sure how they managed that, but from what I've heard of former school trips it's not really all that surprising. I guess last time they crashed an entire train, I wonder if we should consider ourselves lucky." That was followed with an exasperated snort. As Bul mentioned supplies the ghost automatically glanced at the pipe and bag, then turned to notice that pretty much everyone had something similar. "Ya I should. Tent?" He pointed a claw in that direction, then glanced down at the kitsune ghoul. "Stay here a minute Momo, I'll be right back." Patting her reassuringly on the shoulder he marched off to go collect himself a nap sack and a busted off table leg from the provided supplies, then proceeded to stuff the makeshift weapon into said bag before returning to the group. Stiffening as a voice called out to him. Junko! ((Closing post to PRP! Also, reposting profile since he grabbed his s**t. Beejoux))

Relieved that it seemed Barth and Calder were coming of their own accord, Christof relaxed a hair, curiosity getting the better of him as he shifted his pack of supplies before following his Mistress, pipe firmly gripped in his hand, just in case.

(( West has his four posts! Profile! !!! )) West had been a few minutes out of the shower when R.A.G.E. began making questionable noises. He didn't think much of them really, since it seemed he and his shipmates had been besieged by many strange creatures on this journey and had lived to tell the tale, and if he happened to take some time to rid his body of squid blood rather than see another of them, he certainly wasn't going to cry about it. The wrath demon zipped up an old hooded sweatshirt, one of the few articles of clothing he had kept for longer than it took to wash it once, and directly following that everyday action their boat tipped the hell over. West was thrown about the corridor he had been walking through until he could no longer tell which way was up, before being unceremoniously flung out into the open ocean. It seemed he hadn't needed that shower after all. He washed up on the shore some time later mostly unscathed, to his surprise, just very, very wet. West wondered how his cast had remained intact through all he'd been through, but decided that was a subject he didn't really care to waste brain power on. He coughed. Water... sucked. Squinting through the fog, West began to move forward. He refused to raise his hands up in front of him like some bumbling fool, so it took him quite a while to make his way over to the supply tent and odd glowing monument, but not long enough to completely miss the hooded figure that had mysteriously appeared. And then disappeared. What in the hell? He shook his head, grabbed an old wooden bat and brown knapsack then took a seat off to the side somewhere. If he could dry off that would be just great.

With a shout of delight, Ren ran towards Jove, arms flung out wide to scoop the boil up into a massive bear hug. His legs gave way and he felt his knees hit the sand as he collapsed, laughing in relief. Pulling away, Ren reached his hands up, first checking Jove's face for any injuries, then looking over the rest of him to make sure he wasn't hurt.
"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly, patting the boil's arms, giving him a quick once over. "Everything all right? I'm so glad you're safe!"
Once he was quite certain that the puppy was, in fact, uninjured, Ren gave him a relieved smile, letting out a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding. He'd been so terribly worried about not only Jove, but Alessa and LW as well (Gabrian could breathe underwater, so his concern for his best friend was slightly less on that particular front, though still enormous), that he hadn't realized just how much it had exhausted him.
"Oh," Ren said with a start, glancing up at Gabrian and LW. The shewolf had already introduced the nix, but he felt the need to clarify it a bit more. "Jove, you haven't met him yet. This is Gabrian, my best friend. He's LW's boilfriend. And don't worry," he added as an undertone, leaning close, so only Jove could hear. "He's not nearly as scary as he looks."
Straightening, Ren pushed himself back to his feet, wincing slightly. He gently nudged Jove in the direction of Alessa; he could hear her worried voice, weak and tired sounding. "Look what I found," he said to the nagual, smiling down at her. "A stray puppy has washed ashore."
Their reunion, however, was slightly disrupted by two things:
A.) Some weird creeper had just appeared out of nowhere, and B.) Said creeper was now talking on his...skelly...phone?
Somehow, however, when the strange man (Or was it a woman? Ren could not tell in the thick fog, and the figure was hooded, though the voice sounded masculine...) spoke, it sent chills down his spine. He did not particularly like the idea of being sitting ducks. No, he did not like that at all.
The others were starting to leave now. Ren glanced first at Alessa, who was looking a bit overwhelmed, barely managing to stay upright, and in one swift movement, Ren darted in front of her, not waiting for her to respond before he lifted her easily onto his back, piggyback style, mimicking Gabrian and LW.
"Here you are, love," he said to the nagual, smiling up at her, and then turned to glance back at Jove. "You coming, little brother?" he asked, hoping the answer would be yes. "We can find some of your friends later, make sure they're okay, but let's get moving first, so we're not in any danger."
Famous last words, I'm sure, Ren thought with a sigh.

Bul nodded to Seiji and sighed. He was glad he had missed the train trip but... something told him he'd rather be there than on this island right now. Boy were things getting cold with the Hell-O wearing off. He wished he had stashed a little of it to keep on the island.
He'd wait till Seiji gathered his supplies before tagging along with the psuedo-group they had formed but for the majority stayed quiet and alert. He was highly concerned about Icky but would have to scout for him later.

... Weeelp, no sooner had he said it did the claw-armed ghost jerk show his face, leaving dear, kind, soft-hearted-and-long-suffering Elaphe to inwardly kick himself for the jinxing. Maybe somewhere deep inside, he was glad to see the guy hadn't drowned ('dying' ghost paradoxes aside), but that didn't mean he'd show anything but a prickly scowl in passing.
"... Yeah, fine." Once again he was too tired for the grousing to really show, and his own 'softness' was upsetting. Hellbent on proving that he was SO not a wuss and SO totally ready for this, he hastily straightened his back, put on his bravest face, and threw his turtle and knapsack over hi shoulder, picking up his sword hilt and then--
Oh. Uh... the moopy eyed girl. She had a "friend" with her now, which meant he could easily leave her, and yet... with the appearance of that creepy scythe-wielding cloaked figure in the distance, and the unsettling warning his massive ears picked up on, something in him felt guilty for just up and abandoning her so quickly.
And he so totally wasn't seeking the security of a group in tailing her for a little while. LIKE HELL!
