Alessa had arrived on time, just barely, but by then the room had been rather full and the seats limited. So she'd taken what she could find, away from those she knew unfortunately. But the little information session wasn't very long, so it was fine in the end. The information hadn't been that shocking; getting up early was no issue and, considering the trouble her minipets had caused lately, she hadn't been planning on bringing them. The thing that bothered her, being on a boat, was not new information. She would have to manage. Once everything was over and the other students were milling around, Alessa felt her skelephone vibrate and she flipped it open to see Ren's text message. Oh, they were on the left side? Seeing as she could move now, she stood up and made her way over to where Ren, LW, and Gabe were gathered.

She had to admit she was surprised to see the position Ren and LW were in. Quickly, very quickly, she told herself it was nothing; the two of them were just cuddling people and they were all friends after all. That didn't prevent the little pink tinge that rose to her face, but she greeted them swiftly anyway as if nothing was wrong, "Sorry, when I got here it was rather full so I had to sit where I could...Oh, is that the list? May I?"

She glanced down the list and the disappointment showed in her face. She didn't know anyone on her boat, at least not personally...Oh wait! There was Charlie. He was nice enough, though he was a bit of a handful in his own way. Well, she supposed it could have been worse. In fact, it was. She passed LW a concerned glance, "Do you think you'll be okay?" A twinge of frustration showed in the angle of her brows. She wished she could have been there, to make sure that Sarias kept to herself.

Raziel had been a little bit late to looking up the boat assignments for the mandatory school field trip. Something about a mandatory field trip didn't seem like it would be as much fun as so-called "regular" field trips. With a sigh, Raziel looked through the list to find his name.

It took a good minute because he was all the way at the bottom, in the last boat, number eight. Looking through the list of the other students on that boat, Raziel was relieved to not be stuck on the same boat as Calder. Although he was a bit anxious, not really knowing anyone else on the boat. The only one he did know of was Colette from the last field trip and everyone dying on Candy Cane Lane. He and Colette hadn't really spoken much on that trip, so Raziel wasn't sure if she'd even know who he was.

All the same, Raziel made the best of the situation and went over the list of what he'd packed in his head one more time.

Ren gave LW a suspicious look. "Carry?" he repeated, glancing first at the shewolf, then at the list again. "You're friends with her, then? Isn't she the one who marked you, darling?"

However, the avarice demon was the least of his concerns, especially after seeing Sarias' name on the sheet as well, in the same boat as LW. Idly Ren tapped his fingers on the paper, a vague frown touching his face. His last encounter with the ghost ghoul had ended...oddly. Not particularly bad, but...odd. He did not think she would do anything to him, at least, but her hatred for LW ran deep, and Ren flicked his gaze up towards the shewolf sitting in his lap.

"Hmm...." he murmured musingly to himself, then glanced up as a familiar nix demon came up behind them. "My bad," Ren said, casting an amused glance back at Gabrian as he smirked. "Shall I sit in your lap, then, so you don't feel left out, Sir Snake?"

He was more than just a little relieved that Gabrian was on the same boat as he was, but Ren was still bothered about LW and Alessa. He glanced around the room, hoping to spot his ghoulfriend, when he heard her voice. Craning his neck, he spotted her moving towards them, and a smile broke out on his face.

"Lessa," he said, and leaned forward to press a quick kiss to her cheek before handing her the paper. Ren felt LW's tail against his leg, and he glanced up at the shewolf. She looked a little worried, her expression anxious, and he patted her back gently.

"Don't worry," he said. "You'll be fine. Just steer clear of ghost ghouls with grudges and make sure you're never alone, okay?"

Looking around at all the students milling about, Ren caught sight of a very familiar reaper - one that he had not seen for quite some time. A pleased smile touched his lips. "Vaith!" Ren called eagerly, and gently moved LW from his lap, depositing her in his newly vacated seat as he moved to meet his old friend. "Vaith, hey - oof!"

He had stumbled into someone - someone small and cool and pale. Ren blinked down. "Freckles!" he said happily, resisting the urge to throw his arms around the little wisp. Interrupted from going after Vaith, Ren took Jove's wrist, tugging him towards his friends. "Come here for a quick second," he said, and then, when they were close enough, he snagged Alessa's hand. "Just for a second, I promise, then you can go back to whatever it was you were doing. I just want to introduce you to someone."

"Lessa," he said, gesturing to the foxfire wisp. "Alessa, this is Jove. Jove, this is my ghoulfriend, Alessa. You know, the one who makes the cookies?"

To Alessa he said "Lessa, love, can you do me a favor? You and Jove here are on the same boat, and I was wondering if you could possibly look after him. Not that you need looking after," Ren amended hastily, with a glance at the puppy and a grin. "But since neither LW, Gabrian, nor I am on the boat with either of you, I just want to make sure that you're both okay."

In her current anxious and fretful state, LW had not heard or caught her boilfriend's scent until he was right behind them. LW jumped and clung to Ren before relaxing and giving Gabrian a dirty look before her gaze was back on that jack damned piece of paper. She wasn't even able to make a retort to Gabe's teasing of them. Her mind was a little preoccupied with the fact she was going to have one...interesting boat ride, as Ren put it.

Violet eyes finally glanced over at the nix. "It is not our fault we get into trouble." She muttered and let her hand raise up to rub at her face before she sighed. "Don't give me that look!" LW groaned and was happy by the sudden appearance of Alessa. "Gabe says we are trouble makers." The she-wolf's lips twitched a little, but not like usual.

At the rabbit's question, LW felt her shoulders droop and tail curl a little more. "I...I'm not sure." She admitted to them all. Did she think she was going to be fine? Pfff, HELL NO. That ghoul was out to get her.

"Don't worry he says." LW gave Ren a look that held a little of her usual amusement. "I'm not that dumb. I won't purposely go seeking Sarias out." Never be alone. Well, that one could have its own problems as well. There were definitely some fellows that she could cling to. Like Carry or Riley. But those had their own problems attached to them as well. Then she was deposited in the seat Ren once occupied. The she-wolf just slumped in it until a very familiar demoness place a hand on her shoulder.

LW looked up (tall, demon was tall; what was it with demons being tall?!) into the face of Pride. "You're tellin' me. I am NOT an early person. And yeah. That might be best." She hesitated for a minute before adding, "There...is someone that will be on the boat with us that I...umm, have problems with." That was probably an understatement, but Carry would understand. "Oh Jack! Packing! I haven't even thought of that." She let her head fall back and rest next to the other demon sitting there. Oh. OH RIGHT!

"Uhh, Gabrian? I...I'm pretty sure you may have seen her around the demon dorms before, but this is...Gabe meet Carry. She is Pride." LW added, just to clarify who the demoness was. "Carry, this is my boilfriend, Gabrian."

Whisper looked around the crowd of students for any she might recognize on her boat. After some hard looking at the list, she realized she also recognized Jericho and Cyrilla from another class she had taken, as well from the scarentine dance. She was sure she recognized Belladonna too...wait didn't they spell her name wrong? From what she had seen of the ghoul, she was not going to be pleased.

She decided to walk through the crowds to see if she could find those she knew, and possibly meet those she didn't. She was always looking for new friends, and what better place then a packed auditorium? If anything, she could always bump into somebody to start up a conversation.

Nyyrikki couldn't help the groan that escaped him as he sank in his chair.

"What the jacking hell?" Why did they even ask about special requests on the stupid form if they'd just cast them aside? His kushi would not be happy. And the reaper himself would not be happy either. No weapon? He fingered his chains and frowned. It hardly seemed fair. Monsters, ghosts, demons, and undead would all keep their fighting abilities, but if nasties became nasty, he'd have to dodge using his shadow abilities. How pathetic.

He brought his knees upto his chest and groaned into them angrily one more time before unfolding himself and heading to figure out his boat arrangement.

Sepheran was listening closely to see if he could pick out any specific voices he knew from the throng of voices around him when a vary familiar one resounded just beside him. Sepheran quickly turned a smile lighting his face, "Myr!! Honestly I'm a bit nervous after what they put us through last time...but was glad to see that we'll at least be together for the trip," Sepheran said as Myr came up beside him.

Too be honest Sepheran was really glad Myr was going to be around more, he hadn't had much interaction with the male save for music class and Sepheran still didn't have too many other friends having arrived only a short time ago.

Tilting his head slightly in Myr's direction he lightly brought up his hand to pet Liannan who had slithered around to hiss a light greeting to Myr. "They said no mini-pets but do you think Liannan will be allowed to come with me?" Sepheran asked wondering what the other thought. "Surely they would make an exception unless they want me blindly walking about the boat," he chuckled though it was a slightly nervous laugh.

Either way he doubted Liannan would stand being forced to stay behind. Knowing he she would probably try and find some way to come aboard with him regardless. After all he was a useless master without her.

It took some time before Jareth was able to full make sense of everything he had heard. Not bothering with a seat, as it would have put him far too close to others for his comfort, he had settled into some corner well away from the others, where he could easily see if any came too close to him and so he could still see th teachers and what not. So... boats. He wasn't too sure how well he'd do on such things but he doubted it'd be fun. Didn't boats mean cramp spaces and... and.. ugh! that meant people were gonna be crushed together! NO thank you!

Packing... that shouldn't be too hard, right? Pulling out a notepad from his back pocket, he retrieved a pen from under his hat and began to write some notes. Bring things to charge linkus... batteries most likely. What were boats like in real life? Did they rock a lot? Make lots of creaking sounds? Water was definitely going to be a problem if it sprayed everywhere... maybe he'd be lucky and allowed to stay inside his room for the duration of the trip? That would be awesome... grumbling and muttering to himself, he almost flinched when he noticed something moving past his little corner.

Impossible to miss this fellow as he was an incredible shade of acid green. Whoa... they made people that neon!?

Not receiving a reply from carry, the envy demon decided to head back to his room. He was sadly too tired to be too social right then and there were too many students in one space; the noise was somewhat horrific. Though he did notice Gabe and the others (and carry), his brain wanted nothing more than to go to bed now, reserve what sleep he could get and pack early. Even packing right then sounded like a bad idea. How in Jack's name was he supposed to pack something one two by two? He needed far more things than a two by two could tolerate! Boat rides were never short affairs... what was he expected to bring?? His swim trunks?

The more he thought about it, the more it annoyed him. But, there was one small bit of good int he whole mess. With them having to go on this boat trip, his brothers and mum couldn't come to the school. Hopefully such things weren't allowed, since he did not feel up to dealing with his family right then. Well, he never really wanted to deal with them but least it was pushing off an annoying visit too soon. While he was up.... pulling out his phone again, he sent out another text, this one to his mother. She would have to know now, of course, so she didn't make some huge annoying parade about coming to the school.

Woman was nothing if not dramatic.

The announcement was left in her fishtank.

Therefore, after fishing out the wadded up, sugar covered, ruined piece of paper - and throwing it out immediately - she had taken a walk and found the trail of students to the auditorium. While she didn't know exactly why, it was clear whatever that paper had been meant to inform about was the same event that students were heading towards. So, after taking great care to compare the herding to a flock of sheep, she headed for the auditorium as well.

As she slipped through the crowd, she saw several familiar faces. She knew if she stopped to say hello to each one, she would never get anywhere. So instead, with a friendly expression and a cordial nod, she silently greeted each acquaintance as she passed. Her smooth gait was not deterred, until she was handed the boat list. As the words of the briefing sunk in, Riley's friendly gaze melted away, and her day turned to s**t.

They were going on another field trip.

She wondered if it was too late to break her own leg to get out of going, but as she looked down the list her worry ebbed slightly. She realized that no matter which boat she would be placed in.. she really couldn't miss. Knowing this certainly brightened her horizons - it meant she was doing well in her goal. Father would be pleased.

The list of the first boat, while not hers, seemed to garner most of her attention. Malodore, Jericho, and led by.. she briefly considered which faculty could be bribed into letting her get on Boat 1 instead. Hellma? No, what did she need with money? Arel? Perhaps.. but did he really have the resources to change the list? Red...

Hah. Ahaha. No.

She slumped slightly in defeat, and looked at her own boatmates. Which each passing name, her plans for the boat changed slightly. Nuk.. excellent. And Junko, that would be pleasant. Carthusia, certainly a positive addition. And LW. Riley's eyes narrowed just slightly.

As much as she wasn't looking forward to this field trip, Riley was suddenly very much looking forward to the boat ride tomorrow.

Plopping herself down back into her seat for a moment, she watched as students grimaced in horror of the field trip. It seemed she wasn't the only one who would be dreading this trip, as well as being separated from the little people she did know.

Catching sight of a familiar ghoul with long insane hair, Mei shuddered at the thought of them ever being stuck in the same transportation. Luck was on her side this time though, as she was assigned to a completely separate boat and the two would hopefully never even cross paths. Who knows? Maybe she would get really lucky and some sea monster would swallow her whole? Yes.. This trip was starting to look better and better now that she gave it more thought. In fact, she was a little more excited now.

Glancing about the auditorium, she recognized a few more people she knew, but made no effort to greet them at this moment. No.. Right now, she would watch the students as they continued to discuss the trip amongst themselves and small groups of friends. Curious as she was, Mei wondered how many of these students had a fear of the open sea as she did---and if they did, how would they come to deal with it?

He smiled, glad that the other boy was glad that they were sharing a boat also. "I have to agree with you on that," Myr answered, chuckling. "Christmas Town was a bit of a disaster, but hopefully this one'll be alright." A bit of disaster was a little like saying that he was only a little bit blue, but he really didn't want to remind the people around them just how much of a mess the last field trip was.

"I wouldn't see why not."Myr said, frowning a bit. That could be slightly problematic, he used his snake familiar to help him out, and if she wasn't allowed to come... well, they'd cross that bridge when they came to it."It's not like you're taking her just to have her like most of the students would do with their minis." He wasn't sure who, if anyone, they could ask to find out before hand, but perhaps the professor in charge of their boat would know. "I suppose we could ask Professor Malcolm; it says that he's the teacher assigned to our ship."

Sin spotted Rosc all the way in the back, didn't that just figure? She moved through the crowds and those trying to get a seat to get all the way back to him. She waved her paper and sat down next him draping over the chair in her usual manner. "Looks like we're not on the same boat..." Well that was stating the obvious, she bit her lip and realized she was fishing. She wanted him to feel like she had felt, to know that he had maybe wanted to be on the same boat as her. She flipped her hair back and forced a smile. "I mean not that it really matters right? You get to be on the Boat with Professor Blue, you'll probably get a serenade all the way there...wherever there is."

She paused and silenced 'paying attention' as the announcements were made and then visibly cringing. Two by two? Her luggage had to be two by two?! She didn't know if she could DO that! Then again she had packed quite a chest of lovely garments for the trip to ChristmasTown and look how THAT had turned out. She would just have to use some folding techniques her mother had taught her to make the small luggage size work. No minipets allowed, good thing she had stocked up on food...and unmentionables for her unmentionables.

The boats would load up early which meant she would probably go back to her suite and try and get her rest after she re-packed. She watched as Arel left the stage looking morose and her fingers moved down the front of her dress idly touching her pendant. She looked back at Rosc and at Ripley with a slight smile. "Poor Ripley will have to stay behind it seems."

Rosc's mouth quirked up a bit when Sin moved to join him.
"I suppose being with Blue will be interesting, maybe discuss music theory and a possible way of not having to play that harp," he mused to her, reaching out to take the hand that had risen to touch a lump beneath her dress that was no doubt a pendant that hung from the chain he could see around her neck. "I would have liked to be on the same boat, though."

He really had. It would have been a chance to spend more time with her, on top of keeping an eye on the other boils, to see who might be paying her a bit too much attention.
Ripley stood from where she sat on Rosc's thigh and moved to Sin's lap, ears perked happily.

"She'll survive. Much as it would seem otherwise, I don't take her everywhere," Rosc replied, rubbing his thumb against her hand.

"The harp is a wonderful instrument be lucky you weren't stuck with the trumpet..." She muttered and then smiled a bit as he took her hand before nodding. "Yeah it would have been nice...but I'll be with Alcie, and she's great to have around, plus she loves the water so I'll be in good company."

She smiled as Ripley moved into her lap and lightly gave her chin a scratch with her other hand. "My pets will be furious when they realize I'm really gone without them. I left some extra unmentionables as an apology."

"That's really a tough choice there. I don't think I'd do well with the trumpet... But damn if I don't like the harp," Rosc replied with a small shrug. He'd probably take the harp over the trumpet, simply because he knew how to play a stringed instrument and the piano. He would not be able to play it well, he knew there were techniques to it that he just didn't know. But at the least he knew how to pluck the strings properly and what string was what note, for the most part.

"I'm glade that your friend is on your boat with you." His face dropped into one of annoyance and a bit of worry.
"Arachne was the only one on the list that I recognized," he added, though he was sure that she had already seen. He watched as Ripley leaned into the scratchings.

"Do you recognize any of the other names on my boat?"
