"Eeeeppmmpph!" Alessa stumbled as the pillow hit her face. It didn't hurt at all, but it did set her off balance. She flopped back on her behind among the pillows, wincing a bit as the impact of her fall was probably more painful than the "attack" itself. And by painful it was just the small shock of the impact, as the pillows were soft and everything. Much better than if she had fallen up on deck. Shaking her head a little, as if that would clear away the slight daze that lingered in her head, she got back up rather quickly, pillow clutched in hand.
She launched it back at Seiji, intentionally this time, though it was just then that Jove decided to move. Ah, Jack damn it, could she never hit her actual targets?
"Look out Jove!"

There would have been pointing and laughing as the bunny fell back among the pillows, but a certain whisp had missed his intended mark and nailed the jikininki upside the head. It made him stumble, shocked by the sudden impact, and he hand to catch himself against the wall. "Wow Kid." Nice arm. Now where did he go?
Scooping up a pillow he turned around to send it flying at the pup only to watch as Alessa's shot went wide and knocked into his fellow ghost. "Bwah! Nice aim, Alessa. You keep aiming my way, k?" He snerked, but there was no sting to his words. He even held a hand down to help her back to her feet.
Though with Jove already hit, he had to set his sights on another target, and he sent his next shot at the back of a retreating head. The boil that had first jumped over board. He didn't know his name, but he was going down!
The pillow exploded into a cloud of feathers against the back of Elaphe's head.

The pup was in the middle of his retreat when Alessa's pillow hit him square in his fluffy behind, once again causing him to land face-first in the soft cushions underfoot. Thinking it was Seiji, he grabbed the first pillow under his hand and whirled around to hurl it through the air at his friend. Although this time it was for the best that his aim was clumsy and unpractised, he ended up hitting Alessa back just as Seiji was offering to help her up.
The pup might not have known it, but the other ghost was perhaps the one student who was least likely to hit him with a pillow. He was like Alessa in that he might not have wanted to hurt the pup, but his aim was certainly more accurate.

Pillows flew past in every direction. Some aimed with intent. Others hitting by accident to unintended targets. Calder, however, was sure who he was going after next. With Jove hit, it was now turn for Seiji to pay. Shuffling around in the pillows, the kelpie grabbed two pillows and moved in. Sure, he might be helping some ghoul up, but that just meant he had been unprepared. Leaving himself open for attack when he should have been watching all about him was just foolish in battle.
Like a pair of cymbals, Calder rose up and smacked both pillows on either side of Seiji's head, before making to dive down into the cushioned and burrowing down as best he could. With so many, it was like a vast sea, and if he couldn't swim in the water, he'd made with swimming in the cushions instead.

Alessa made a face, complete with a pout and a stubborn frown. How she managed that with her energy levels was a bit of a mystery. She took a pillow from where she sat, tossing it defiantly at Seiji, though this time she was actually accurate, the pillow flying toward him instead of someone else.
"You did ask me to," she said with a satisfied huff. She was about to get up, with Seiji's assistance if it was still offered, when she was hit with a large pillow in her face, sending her falling right back into the pile behind her. Oh well, at least it wasn't a full fall. She wiggled a bit, digging herself out from the pillows and sitting back up. Her hair had picked up a bit of static, and she grinned at Jove as she tried to settle it, "Well, intentional or not, nice throw!"

Jove stared back at Alessa with a horrified expression, not quite understanding why she was complimenting him despite just being hit in the head. He was supposed to protect her, not hit her with pillows! The wisp whined, how was he going to admit to Ren he had clobbered her flat with a pillow instead of bravely shielding her from the flying, fluffy projectiles?
The pup dashed over with as much haste as possible to make sure she was okay, his feet slipping and sliding on the cushions before tripping over Calder, who was buried underneath and making his getaway. Jove let out a pathetic squeal as he fell, landing in the pile of cushions next to his friends. In a moment of fright he grabbed the closest thing on hand, a pillow of course, and brought it down on the mound hidden in the pillows.

Oh, so close to freedom yet SO VERY FAR--
Elaphe had only been a few steps from relative safety (or so he thought, eyes locked on some cabin doorway) when a fluffy projectile smashed right into the back of his skull, sending him toppling forward-- with one hell of a startled squeak-- ... face first into the nearest wall. For a moment the boil seemed stunned as he slid down the splintery wood, but then, dazed and flustered, he whipped around and searched frantically for whatever b*****d had DARED to strike him so.
Oh. Oh. It was HIM, that one with the gray skin and claw arm.
"Y-YOU!" the little Nguruvilu squawked in a fury, or maybe just a fluster, raising his pillow and hurling it with all the strength in his little body right back at Seiji's face. VENGEANCE WOULD BE HIS.
If only it would somehow make up for his bashed face.

The good thing about having white hair was that his head blended in with the pillows and like the fin of Jaws, Calder's horse ears poked out as he moved, looking through little cracks in the cushions to see his prey. Who to go after next? Seemed he already managed two, he would go after the ghoul next. Moving closer, he reached deep into the cushions around him and snagged a pillow. Just as he was about to move, he felt someone hit his side and then plop ON HIM!
Squirming about and sending pillows about, he was then met with a pillow to the face. OOMPH! Already pinned on the ground, the kelpie pushed the pillow off his face. "AH! I've been hit!" And then flopped down, motionless, as if dead, his face down in the pillows, laying on his stomach.

Jove blinked, and then his eyes widened. This pillow tossing thing was dangerous! First he had hit Alessa, and now it looked like he had killed that nice, awkward boil with the white hair! The pup was naive enough to be worried over the kelpie's act, and scrambled around so he knelt beside the boil, uttering the occasional worried whimper. This was not good.
A thought struck him, and he leaned down to press one of his fluffy ears against Calder's back, listening for a heartbeat, or breathing, or anything. Upon hearing both, he leaned back and sat on his heels to let the boil get up. That is, if he could be certain a heartbeat and breathing were living-exclusive behaviours.

Alessa was about to pick her target, when she saw Jove coming her way very quickly...to the point of falling and running into Calder. She tossed her pillow aside, sending it indirectly toward Seiji and Elaphe as she got to her feet, jogging and hopping over the pillows to get to the ghost and kelpi boils' sides.
She crouched beside Jove, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Jove. They're just pillows. They can't actually hurt anyone." She offered the pup a smile before leaning forward a bit, looking at the kelpi boil, "Right Calder?"

Calder pressed his lips tight when the little boil inspected him for signs of life, and remained still. He resumed his act until a ghoul came over, seeming to notice that the little boil was concerned. Seemed the pup was actually worried. Not wanting this to stop being fun, Calder rolled over. "That is unless you try suffocating me in my sleep." He said, sitting up. "Nice hit by the way." He pointed to his head before lightly picking up a pillow and setting it upon the boil's head. "King of Pillows." He announced, before taking a new pillow and throwing it at Alessa. "Guard down!"

Having spaced out after attacking Charlie, she basically fell right into Calder's attack and let out a surprised 'eep!' when she was hit, stumbling a few steps forward. After that... She had no idea what happened. She just saw more students joining them - including Seiji and Jove, as well as the cute ghoul and the short boil - as she grabbed a new pillow and started to flail it about.
Seeing how Calder was occupied with Jove, however, Lizzy saw her chance for revenge and tossed the pillow in her hands towards the Kelpie, aiming for his back.

The sounds that would otherwise be a dead (ha, ha) giveaway of his stealthy prowling behind the piles of pillows were masked by all the shrieking and laughing. The dracolich poked his skull around the side of the fort. His blue eyes flared. Aha! A target. Lizzy had her back to him. That would be her mistake.
There was a moment or two of scuffling behind the pillow wall. And then a snap. And one pillow was soon en route to Aymet's intended target, flying overhead.
It turned out with enough elbow grease, and both elbows, two whole arms, and maybe a tail and a couple of wings, you could make a pretty sweet pillow catapult. YEAH. His arms were a little wrapped up in his project so he couldn't fold them, but he totally would have. Now whether it worked, on the other hand... and man, how WAS he supposed to reload this thing?

After her (not so successful) assault on Calder, she almost missed a pillow flying in her direction. She raised her arms to sort of defend herself, but realized that the pillow had already stopped a short distance away from her, missing her completely. Her attention shifted from the pillow to her 'attacker', an Undead Dragon whose name she could not recall, although he looked... Wait, did he just use his own body parts to make something?
An eye brow raised, she immediately walked over, picking up the fallen pillow on her way there. Once close enough, she tossed it in his direction, although he was probably perfectly able to dodge seeing how his legs looked... Intact.
"HEADS UP."

Jove glanced at Alessa, and then his ears perked as Calder set up. So he WAS just playing after all! The pup's tail wagged a couple times, and he glanced back at Alessa as if to say "See, I knew he was faking it."
Fluffy ears flattened as Calder placed a pillow on his head, and somehow it stayed there in spite of the curious head tilt that followed. Jove's ears tried to perk again as the pillow Calder threw exploded into a spray of white feathers all around Alessa, and his face was a mask of surprise for an instant before that fluffy tail wagged again. It reminded him of the foam in a bubble bath, all white and soft, and everywhere.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw another pillow hurtling towards the kelpie, and grabbed the one off his head to return fire in Lizzy's direction. If this was all just a game, it was certainly more interesting than sitting up on deck staring at the endless water.
