"Next, I would like you to clean the tea scoop, the bowl we'll be using today, and the whisk. I know it seems tedious and boring, but this is the way things are. When you're finished, fold the cloth back up and place it back in the front of your obi. You will need it again soon."

Luna nodded, "True it is somewhat tedious but nothing big I'm sure I will get used to doing it out of habit." She always had an optimistic voice as gently she cleaned the tea scoop, the bowl and the whisk setting each item down when finished and folding the cloth she replaced it back into the Obi looking up at the sensei with a smell smile on her face, Luna knew she was learning something very important and was glad she had not been to shy to volonteer.

"This next part is slightly tricky. Pick up your laddel and pour one scoop of hot water into the bowl. Than, very carefully, put the end of the laddel on the farthest side of the hot water container. Slid the handle between your thumb and index finger. Bring it up slowly and then down, just as slowly, laying it on the side closest to you. Do you understand?"

Luna nodded and very slowly began performing the steps repeated them in her head one by one. 'and pour one scoop of hot water into the bowl' She did so then continued. 'put the end of the laddel on the farthest side of the hot water container.' She did so ever so carefully aware of the hot water, twice before she'd spilt it and hopefully that wouldn't happen again. 'Slid the handle between your thumb and index finger.' She slid the handle between her thumb and index finger. 'Bring it up slowly and then down, just as slowly, laying it on the side closest to you.' She lifted it and lowered it at the same speed laying it on the side gently then looking up she prayed she hadn't missed anything.

"Very very good. Now, open the lid to the tea and with the tea scoop, put in one scoop of the powered tea. Then, lightly hit the scoop against the cup and gently place the scoop on top of the tea container. With your right hand, pick up the whisk and gently stir in a circle. First right, than left."

She nodded and carefully and gently put the tea scoop with the powdered tea into the cup lightly tapping the scoop on the side like she'd been told being carefuly not to drop or break anything. She placed the scoop back and took the whisk in hand being very careful to stir proporly and smoothly until the tea was blended well.

Sakura came in and sat down next to the others. Sakura listened to the teacher very closesly and did exactly as she said. Sakrua scooped in the powdered tea, hit the scoop, lightly, against the cup and gently placed the scoop on tope of the container. Then with her right hand she picked up the whisk and gently stirred in a circle, while trying hard not to mess up. Sakura found this difficult.

Reijn straightened her back to sit up higher and see better. She watched Luna's hands shaking slightly as she continued the demonstration. Reijin smiled as her friend successfully mixed the tea powder into the cup. 'Luna-san may worry about finding an onee-san,' she thought, 'but I have no doubts that some day she will become a fine geisha.'

~Lunar Kiasaka~ She nodded and carefully and gently put the tea scoop with the powdered tea into the cup lightly tapping the scoop on the side like she'd been told being carefuly not to drop or break anything. She placed the scoop back and took the whisk in hand being very careful to stir proporly and smoothly until the tea was blended well. "Yes. That's very good. Now, gently hit the whisk against the cup and then set it up on it's end. Is there anyone in the room that would care to try the tea?" (Anyone who has asked to sign up, I give complete permission to sign up.)
