Umm, can I take a rain-check on that? The only person I can kiss is currently away on a business trip...but I will do it once he gets back and as soon as I can see him.

Ok. There's two rooms, one filled with treasure, the other with torture devices. Enter the room with the treasure, you can keep it all. Enter the room with the torture devices...
Standing before each room is a guard. One guard will always tell the truth, the other will always lie- but you don't know which. You may only ask one question. What yes or no question do you ask them to be certain you are going to walk into the room with the treasure?

The classical answer: you may indicate either door by pointing, and ask either guard, "Would the OTHER guard say that this is the door with the treasure?"
If it were the door with the treasure, the "lying" guard would reply in the negative, as would the truthful guard, because the "lying" guard would contradict the fact that the truthful guard would assert, and the truthful guard affirm the fact that the "lying" guard would contradict.
If on the other hand it were the door with the devices of torture, both guards would reply in the positive. Q.E.D.
Simpler approach: ask either guard, "IF you are the truthful one, is this the door the treasure trove, and IF you are the falsifier, is this door OTHER THAN the one to the treasure trove?"
Either guard should indicate affirmative if the indicated door is the loot, and otherwise not.
