Fleur was rather concerned by the Meganium's reaction. Petal Dance was a damaging move, after all. Perhaps she hadn't weakened it enough and had accidentally injured Leilani? She gave a worried "saur?" and waved one of her vines in front of her fellow grass-type's face.
"I'm not sure," she said, watching as the glow intensified. "I... think? Hatching is similar to evolution, right?" She couldn't help the excited tremble in her fingertips as the white orb expanded and contracted, forms materializing from its substance. Hatching was correct, and the small thing that appeared from the egg, curled up and asleep in her lap, was none other than a Pichu. Its black ears and tail, however, were a dull purple, and its cheeks were a familiar damask color. Aila had a sneaking suspicion that Revenant did not merely find the egg.
But Arceus it was adorable. She moved an index finger to stroke the silky fur of its small forehead, watching with an expression of clear amazement as its tiny body rose and fell with its breath.

The Meganium's mind eventually recovered, and with a high-pitched "niiiiiii!" she resumed her dancing with ten times the enthusiasm and vigor as before, even going so far as to attempt to dance all around Fleur's front half. Again, again! She wanted to see it again! It was beautiful and amazing and magical and and and beautiful and she wanted it to happen again!
As the light faded and a tiny little Pichu was left curled up in Aila's lap, Inigo had the sudden and nearly irresistible desire to go 'awwww...' That wouldn't be beneficial for his manly demeanor - as if he actually had even an ounce of manliness in his flower- and plant-loving body - so thankfully he didn't. But still, that little ball of fuzz was effin' adorable. "Que es muy preciosa," he murmured with a chuckle as he sat himself back up, also resisting the urge to pet it despite how cute it was. It belonged to Aila, after all, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to just start petting it without permission or anything.

Fleur couldn't help but laugh a bit, relieved to find that Leilani was indeed okay. She had no qualms against performing the act again, and so another short burst of petals raining down from her large blossom.
"Preciosa?" she repeated slowly, intrigued by the word. It sounded similar to the English 'precious,' but-- Oh, but the little electric-types large, round eyes fluttered open, slowly focusing on the face of the girl in whose lap she resided. She blinked a few consecutive blinks, opening her mouth in a wide yawn and uttering a sleepy "cha?" A little Pichu, just as Aulus had said.
"Well." She moved a finger towards the yellow thing's paws, and the Pichu immediately latched on in curiosity. "Hello there."

Whether she looked like it or not, Leilani was likely similar in power to Fleur. It also helped that such an attack was the same type as she, which lessened its effect further. Another excited "niiiii!" erupted from the easily impressed Meganium as she continued prancing about the Venusaur.
"Si, preciosa," he affirmed, trying to keep his eyes on the Pichu despite his proximity to Aila and the angle with which he could view the scene. Glances towards her chest through her thick hair revealed a large wound of some kind, healed up now of course but it still looked.. fairly recent. Could she have gotten it at the same time she damaged her arm..? Perhaps, but there were two things more interesting at the moment - well, three, technically. One of these was the Pichu in Aila's lap, to which his green eyes now focused. He didn't want to be caught staring in one area too long. "It's adorable. What do you think you'll name it? ...and is it.. a girl? Or..?" He really had absolutely no idea in this instance, since he'd only had one pokemon before and he'd been told the gender upon receiving her.

Eager to entertain the excited Meganium further, Fleur thought on her other abilities. She focused on the moonbeams, weak as they were with the bright disk at its current position behind the trees, until a glittering light formed at the height of her flower in a demonstration of her Synthesis.
"P'cha..." The electric-type turned over in Aila's lap and looked to Inigo expectantly. He was saying words and she didn't recognize a one of them. It was absolutely mind-blowing.
Aila hummed at mention of a name. Electric, storms, thunder... "Eclair," she said. "Meaning 'lightning.' I'm not sure of the gender, honestly. I'll bring it by a Pokecenter when I next pass one." Meaning she would check on her Pokedex once Inigo wasn't in close enough proximity to notice the black luster and the little emblazoned R logo.

Oh, oh! It was a game now! "Niuu!" She could play, too! Oh, the Venusaur was glowing? Well, she couldn't do that but she could do something else! Her antennae twitched as she concentrated, strengthening the moon's beams and increasing their light in a display of her Sunny Day.
As the little Pichu turned towards him, he couldn't help but chuckle as he reached a hand over to touch one of its ears. "Hola," he said before pausing, thinking on the name Aila had supplied. "Eclair, isn't that a sort of dessert, too?" A yummy dessert filled with cream, and.. Oh, dessert! "I just remembered, my mom gave me a big piece of cake," among a variety of other foods, "before she let me leave the house again. Do you want some?"

"Venah! Venusaur!" The Sunny Day provided the energy necessary to make her Synthesis even brighter, and the orb that formed glistened like a star in its own right. It was soon absorbed into her body as life force, leaving a dust of light in its wake. She shook herself, feeling refreshed even if she hadn't expended any of her strength.
The Pichu, Eclair, nuzzled into Inigo's touch when his hand approached, an expression of sheer joy on her face. Not every pokemon was fortunate enough to be hatched into an environment of loving pets, not that she was yet aware that such a thing as cruelty existed in the world.
"Is it?" A dessert? Oh, those long pastries with the cream... "I suppose it is, isn't it? Hm." Perhaps she would be lucky and naming the Pichu after a dessert would give her a sweet disposition. Either that or it would backfire horribly. "Cake? Ah, well..." It was fine to be honest, right? She wouldn't be judged or berated for accepting an offer, right? It was okay to depend on others to that small degree, right? "Ah, if... if it's fine. Certainly." What difficult words to say.

The glow was even bigger now! This was exciting, very exciting indeed! But she could do something like that too, so the Meganium paused, planting all four feet into the ground before opening her mouth very wide. A small ball of yellow light suddenly appeared, hovering in the open space before expanding, and suddenly it erupted into a large beam of yellow light, hurtling off towards... nothing in particular, since she'd purposefully aimed it into the sky to avoid hitting anything.
The desire to swoon and go 'awww' at how the adorable little Pichu was renewed, but again he resisted. Instead, he chuckled and stroked its head for a few moments before Aila agreed. Thinking her acceptance meant right that moment - why wouldn't it? - he hoisted himself up and moved to his bag. Unzipping it revealed the assortment of food his mother had shoved on him before allowing him to leave, and he took out the container on the top along with a container of silverware that would last him a week. Why did she insist on giving him way more than he needed? Oh well.
He moved back over to sit beside Aila, removing the lid to reveal a large slice of vanilla cake with thick chocolate frosting, big enough for two, possibly even three people. "Here," he said as he pulled a knife out of the second container, hovering it over the cake as green eyes peered up at Aila. "How much do you want? My mom always gives me way too much stuff if she catches me going camping." In other words, there was no way he could eat all of this by himself, so she had to help.

Fleur drew back slightly in surprise at the sudden Solar Beam, staring at the path it carved through the empty air. She blinked a few times at the display, then cheered enthusiastically. Now that was impressive!
The Pichu reached a paw after Inigo as he moved away, and Aila sated her with a gentle touch, speaking the pokemon's chosen name in an effort to get her to associate it with herself. This seemed to have the desired effect, as Eclair turned to regard the human curiously. She turned to regard the other human even more curiously when he returned with... with... something. Something that smelled delicious. She watched with rapt attention as the lid was removed and the contents were revealed. She still didn't know what it was, but it smelled even more amazing than before, mm...
Aila, who had learned to eat just enough that she wasn't hungry anymore, was nearly baffled by the size of the cake. "Just a little is fine," she said, equally hesitant to eat his food as he had been to eat hers, even if he insisted that it was too much.

The cheering from Fleur only encouraged Leilani, so with another excited "niuuu!" she paused to open her mouth again, a few moments passing for the small ball of energy to grow before another Solar Beam blasted through the air. Thankfully the Sunny Day was still in effect.
Inigo interpreted 'a little' as 'normal sized piece because I'm too proper and nice to say how much I really want' so he cut the large piece into thirds. The resulting pieces were, in fact, normal sized pieces, if a little small. Smaller than he'd like, but oh well. He carefully scooped up the end piece with the knife and a fork, then quickly placed it on the lid of the container - the inside of it, of course, since the outside had been touching who knew what - and offered that and a fork to Aila. "Here you go," he said, a lop-sided grin on his face as he watched the little Pichu give the cake her undivided attention.

Another excited "saaaur!", and then the Venusaur had an idea of her own, launching a stream of Petal Dance alongside the Solar Beam, the pink flowers spiraling around the bright beam. The display finally caught Aila's attention, and she regarded the pair with a curious smile. "You'd think they were contest pokemon," she commented offhandedly.
With a thanks and a nod, she moved to accept the offered dish - crap, except one of her arms didn't move when she willed it. Well, she no matter, she would just set the impromptu plate in her lap, which meant moving the Pichu and - crap, that required both hands as well. She frowned, breathing a sigh to release her building frustration. "Eclair, would you please move aside?" she requested. The addressed turned to her, blinking with large eyes, and complied with a quite "pi." This complete, Aila gave another thanks and took the plate and fork into her hand, setting the former in her lap as the Pichu moved towards Inigo and placed her small paws on his knee, watching attentively.

The bright display finally caught his attention - well, more like Aila's comment towards said display made him finally notice the pair of pokemon - and he chuckled. "Si, that's a pretty combination." And indeed it was, as the pink petals swirled around the dissipating stream of light before floating down to the grass.
As Aila struggled to take the cake from him - why didn't she move her arm? It hurt, obviously, but maybe it hurt too much for her to move it..? How bad had she hurt it, anyway? - he was nearly overcome by the desire to offer help, but she finally managed it on her own. Green eyes flitted to the Pichu as another grin appeared on his face. "Hola, Eclair," he said, reaching down to stroke the little baby pokemon's head and ears, "do you want some cake, too? You'll have to ask Aila first." Even though he would love to offer her some, he wasn't about to feed someone else's pokemon without permission.
At the word 'cake' there was suddenly a large Meganium directly behind him, who cooed and curved her head around to shove it first near the container in his hands, then snaked over to whuffle at Aila's piece, before finally sniffing eagerly at the remainder that Inigo was trying to keep her from eating. "Leilani, down," he said with a chuckle, reaching up to pet her nose. "Un minuto. You can have some in a minute."

Eclair nuzzled into the touch with a coo, flicking an ear upwards in curiosity at Inigo's inquisitive tone. Aila considered the implied question momentarily; she was unsure of whether or not it was a good idea to allow the Pichu's first encounter with food to be with something as sweet and unhealthy as cake, but... well... It would be unfair to simply eat in front of her, after all, and the electric-type's expectant gaze was deeply persuasive.
"Just a little," she compromised, holding the fork delicately with the tines curving downward. She smirked at the Meganium's behavior. It reminded her quite a bit of a certain Venusaur in instances that potentially involved ketchup. Speaking of - or thinking of, rather - the large grass-type followed her friend over to the trainer pair, staring down at her small human curiously. The latter gestured to the cake earnestly, shaking her head and indicating, "No ketchup here, Fleur."

With a chuckle, Inigo separated the remaining two pieces with his fork and tipped one over, cutting it in half before setting one of the small pieces onto the top of the container used for silverware. "There you go, mi amor Leilani," he murmured as he offered the dessert to the Meganium, and she cooed gleefully before engulfing it almost instantly.
The remaining half-piece quickly saw a small chunk removed, which Inigo held with his fingers and gingerly offered it to the little Pichu after Aila's okay. "Ketchup?" He couldn't help but laugh at that, though his green eyes were focused on Eclair. Ketchup? Why would a Venusaur want ketchup?

"Amour?" she said, mistaking the Spanish word for its French cognate. "French for love?" Well, she knew it was, but she wasn't aware that Inigo knew French as well, even if only limitedly. It was surprising, and it brought her to wonder just what his breadth of knowledge covered.
With an excited "cha!", the Eclair took the little confection into her small paws and regarded it confusedly, looking back up and between the two humans for a cue that would signify what she was meant to do with the sticky, crumbly thing. It smelled good - smelled like something to eat even - but it was so... squishy.
Aila couldn't help but roll her eyes at the thought, "Yes, ketchup. You could present her with a table of the best gourmet dishes from around the world and she would slather it all in ketchup before even thinking about touching it." And, quite frankly, it was disgusting. "I honestly could not tell you why. I suppose it's possible it has something to do with her life before I acquired her, but..." But the specifics, unless she suddenly learned to speak Venusaur, were beyond her reach.
