Being caught somewhat off guard Devlin was tense but he calmly set his tools back down on the table right handed and turned his face so he could look at Emma with his left right eye his left one of course sitting on the table as he did maintenance on it and his left hand "Oh, I don't know ." he said after a moment and readjusted his eye-patch "Why isn't she with you?" he figured they would have met up and come back eventually.

Emma looked at her father like he was crazy. "Why would Ana come with me when I was pretty much on a date with Ray. So uncool to have a tag-a-long." It wasn't that Emma didn't love her sister. There was somethings that was not good for having a third wheel.

He frowned looking at Emma, "No I'd figured you'd have met up with her on the way home." he said quite tersely as he gripped the table with his gloved hands.

Emma shook her head no. "I left her with you after Ray and I left for the hot springs and that jerk pushed me." The dark skinned girl commented. "Ana is always bad before I am." She added a little worried. It was unlike her sister to be late.

Sighing Devlin placed a hand over the patch of his left eye and sighed. "Times, like these I miss my hounds the most." he said sighing after a long moment. and pulled his phone out looking at the numbers and then at his tools and things he was working on as they lay there on the table.

"I wouldn't worry too much just yet. Ana may have saw something and was checking it out and lost track of time. Everyone does that sooner or later. I would of liked to stare at Ray's body a little more. He's really fit." The woman commented as she grabbed her pj's.

He stiffened for a moment then sighed ending with a cough. "Thank you for that mental picture now I have to claw my other eye out." He said shaking his head and fighting back the urge to pull an ashtray out and light up.

Emma smiled and blushed. "He needs a to be a little more dominate in his wooing before I'll let him get any." The college student informed her father just as Ana walked into the apartment. "Hello." She said with a guilty smile.

He just sighed shaking his head after a moment but in truth couldn't stay mad at his daughters. "Well Your just lucky My hounds are no more." he said with a bit of devilish grin. as he turned to stand leaving his work on the table as well as his prosthetic eye and hand. once he stood he readjusted his monocle so it would rest more comfortably where he kept it trapped by his squinting right eye.

Emma looked at her sister. Wondering why she was late. "Ana. Where were you?" the older twin demanded. She was the bossy one. Ana looked at her sister then at her father. "I was out with a boy." She answered. "Who?" "The one that you and dad yelled at."

He sighed pinching the bridge of his nose quite tensely the spot where he'd normally rest his glasses. "You know, one of these days my rage will get the better of me right?" he said shaking slightly but it was also in a comical way the way his face contorted and the like.

Emma grinned. "So what did you to do? Wait don't tell me I'll just read your mind." The older twin went quiet. "Oh. First base. Ah so cute. Our little Ana is going up daddy." Ana then responded. "At least I didn't almost get to third base like you did. Next think you know there will be a home run."

Devlin looked at both of his daughters somewhat appalled how they could freely talk about such things as they were considering the intimidating figure he posed lacking a hand and a line face covered on one side by a black eye-patch. He shrugged a moment then after all he'd never given his daughters a reason to fear him. "Hopefully the boys will not be as idiotic as that with." he said after a moment and brought his hands down himself and then out towards his sides. "Me around." he finished somewhat dramatically

Ana glanced at her her father then back to her sister. "You're so mean. You told Ray to pretty much grow some big balls before he can touch you." Emma rolled her eyes. "And you have a little boy who wont even look at you in a sexual manner. No relation can last long without sex."

Cody stumbled up the stairs. His cigar that he had lit at the front door was now nearly gone. He knew that getting here would be a task. He hadn't foreseen a battle in the forest coming about though. He had been jumped, but he did not know by whom and he had managed to get to the place with only minor wounds. He stumbled to room 203 and pounded loudly on the door. "Police; Open up." He shouted.
