I play bass clarinet, tenor sax, and bari sax. But my bass clarinet is my lover. *shh, don't tell anyone* xD My bass clarinet's name is Shadow, and I wrote one of my college application essays on him. xd

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHh! I got a song called "Main Street Celebration" today in symphonic band, and the single best thing that could ever happened happened: BASS CLARINET SOLO. 16 measures of bass clarinet, baby. xd I'm REALLY excited, because the solo's all mine. ^^

At my school, our low woodwind section consists of 2 bassoons, 2 bari saxes, 1 tenor sax (me!), and 2 bass clarinets. We call ourselves the CLW, which stands for Coalition of the Low Woodwinds. Low woodwinds rock! Best part of the band!
But I also find it unfair that my director usually forgets me because I'm always the first to not be included in a low woodwind soli. Its not right! Like last year, I had to play this duet thing with the flute section at the beginning of a version of "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer". What is that?!
