Salem was about to answer yet another one of Aph's questions only to pause. He looked down at the Al plushie for a moment, blinking. It moved? And talked...? Um... When did that...? In the end he just shook his head and went right back on task, after all, they were taking longer then he had expected and they still had all the metallic dragons to go through...
"Um... Well, yes. Both of them are immune to sleep and paralysis effects. Black dragons are not immune to poison, they are immune to acid, and yes, some of the strongest poisons in the world have dragon feces in it... In fact they are very hard to make because just handling it is dangerous. Um... Anything else before we move on?"

The wasp mishap remained silent, in her own way she expressed she was satisfied with the answers she recieved. She merely waited for the other students and Salem.

Kunjiro sat and looked around, before turning back to the dragon and Salem, wondering what the other students would ask Salem later.

Salem banished the white dragon then to be replaced by a new one. "Next we move on to the brass dragon. This is our fist Metallic dragon. His name is Fellithysaar." He motioned up to the old dragon. Fellithysaar was even more scarred up then Salem or his dragon friend. He'd apparently been in many battles. He smiled warmly down at the class, though there was a sort of sad air about him. "Hello everyone..." Rummbled his deep voice. This dragon was obviously far more friendly then the others they had seen so far. Salem continued then, a small smile touching his lips, knowing he was half way done and past the hard part. "Brass dragons are talkative and have supple, expressive lips. They may have useful information, but usually share it only after long rambling and hinting for a gift.
At birth, a brass dragon’s scales are a dull, mottled brown. As the dragon gets older, the scales become more brassy until they reach a warm, burnished appearance. The grand head-plates of a brass dragon are smooth and metallic, and it sports bladed chin horns that grow sharper with age. Wings and frills are mottled green toward the edges, darkening with age. As the dragon grows older, its pupils fade until the eyes resemble molten metal orbs.
Brass dragons love intense, dry heat and spend most of their time basking in the desert sun. They are accompanied by a tangy metallic or sandy odor. They lair in high caves, preferably facing east to enjoy the morning warmth, and their territories always contain several spots where they can sunbathe and trap unwary travelers in conversation.
Brass dragons can and will eat almost anything if the need arises, but normally consume very little. They are able to get nourishment from the morning dew, a rare commodity in their habitat, and have been seen carefully lifting it off plants with their long tongues.
Because they share the same habitat, blue dragons are brass dragons' worst enemies. The larger blues have the advantage in one-on-one confrontations, so brass dragons usually try to evade them until they can rally their neighbors for a mass attack.
Brass dragons would rather talk than fight. If an intelligent creature tries to leave without engaging in conversation, the dragon might force compliance in a fit of pique, using suggestion or a dose of sleep gas. A creature put to sleep may wake to find itself pinned or buried to the neck in the sand until the dragon’s thirst for small talk is slaked. When faced with real danger, younger brass dragons fly out of sight, then hide by burrowing into the sand. Older dragons spurn this ploy but still prefer to have the advantage in combat. A brass dragon has two types of breath weapon, a line of fire and a cone of sleep. Their spell-like abilities include speak with animals, endure elements, suggestion, control winds, and control weather. They can also summon a Djinni.
Lastly, Wyrmlings are small, very young and young are medium, jeveniles and young adults are large, adults, mature adults old and very old are all huge, and finally ancient, wyrm, and great wyrms are gargantuan. So. Any questions about brass dragons?" Salem finished. The full grown brass dragon behind him mearly chuckled as he listened to the cat-man explain the basics of his own race. The great wyrm seemed to be quite amused by the whole thing.

"Nice..." the boy thought as he listened, finding the class more and more interesting. Every dragon amused him, and he yawned before listening to the explanations.

Aphrodite gasped and stared up at the sight, this dragon seemed far more plesant than the others. Deciding it was better to save her questions for later since they all seem to delay the class further. Brushing back her magenta hair, he blinked looking over the brass dragon in awe. What a magnificent sight.

"What sort of gifts do they like?" Rex asked suddenly, after a long time staying silent and questionless. It was a strange question, he knew, but just in case he needed to know something someday.
The boy blinked up at the great wyrm, head tilted while waiting from an answer from him or Salem.

The dragon smiled it's destinctive smile as turned to look down at the twins, even turning his whole body to face him. "Well!" The dragon chirped happily.
The Cat-man snickered, smirking at the twins. "You asked for it..."
"We love pretty things to be sure, but our favorite things are good bits of gossip! You have no idea how hard it is to find someone to talk to out in our desert homes and any information about far off lands is always a treat! The jucier the tid bit the better. If you're looking to give us something a little more physical, a scroll with a good some rare information or spell on it would be lovely. If you can't find an ancient scroll then there is a far cheaper alternative that is always quite refreshing. Bring morning dew. Morning dew is very hard to find in the desert and tastes so wonderful! Gather that till you have... About a barrel full should do and it will make a wonderful gift!" The dragon babbled freely, all while Salem smirked knowingly.

Aphrodite blinked, watching the dragon talk. Grinning she smiled seeing how much they had in common. Oh if only David was here, he'd love to talk to this dragon. "I like morning dew!" She chimed. "It's delcious! I have som-" She slumped, the dragon was just a memroy... she felt horrible now knowing that the large Brass could no longer experience the tastes of nectars.

The dragon smiled. "I am a memory little one. That means I have everything I ever knew with me all the time. I can taste the morning dew any time I wish." The large reptile comforted before turning his attention to the rest of the class. "Is there any other questions for me or shall we allow Salem to continue with his class?" The dragon chirped brightly.
The catfolk smiled lightly up at the dragon. Ah... This was much nicer then working with all the other dragons he had already introduced. Much, much nicer...

The magenta haired mishap shook her head waiting for the rest, smiling widely. "No not at all, I would like for the class to continue please." Taking a moment to think, she looked over towards Al, who at this point was still doodling long winded notes and sketched of the dragons. Shaking her head, still smiling. she looked back at Salem and then at the dragon. This was most definately an interesting day.

Rex smiled, shaking his head. "Nope, no questions. I'd like for the class to continue too, please."
King rumbled, blinking his eyes more than usual behind his twin. The tyrannosaur was starting to get sleepy...
A short while later, King's eyes closed completely, and slowly the dinosaur drifted off to sleep despite everything else around him.
