Comic books? What the Jack were those? Aksaja started to open his mouth to ask, and then quickly shut it again, as Julien explained more. Well that . . . actually sounded sort of interesting, actually. "We don't have stuff like that where I'm from," he muttered, glancing aside for a moment.
"I wouldn't even know which ones were good, though . . ."

Julian's eyes widened to the size of saucers when he didn't get a rebuke or anything like that.
"If you wanna try reading some, my g- f-friend Tahki and I can get you some. I don't think we brought very many with us, but we can give you some good ideas. It all matters on what kinds of tales you like. I have a few action-y ones with me and Tahki has some fantasy stuff, I think." He almost made that whole group of sentence into one never-ending sound, but managed to slow down a bit. Oh, he was such a nerd. But that was okay, because his friends didn't seem to mind. It always surprised him to think that he had friends, even if half of them were really pushy and tried to get him out of his comfort zone.

Aksaja tilted head, thinking about that for a moment. Then he nodded at the other boil. "Sure why not. Both of those sound good. Wanna bring 'em by my room later or something?" Maybe he could also ask about some of the other stuff that he hadn't gotten a chance to try out yet. Like, say, video games . . .
