☯☯ Kayakami looked to Talnar, smiling a bit as she saw him nodding in response to her saying she'd go with him.
Now that she was thinking about it, she could definitely think of Tal as a friend, since Kana seemed to be cool with him too, even if Kaya was a bit mad at her alter ego for sharing things that were meant to be kept just between the two of them.
Her eyes flickered down to the ghost girl, seeing her bouncing up and down happily, saying that the ghost who needed Tal's assistance was in the Abandoned Factory.
It wasn't exactly a place Kaya was familiar with, not having been off campus before, but she had remembered seeing the location on the map of Mitomi when she had first arrived.
Tal then said they'd go to the abandoned factory, walking past the ghost girl that was waiting, Kaya feeling him grabbing her hand gently as he moved.
Kaya quickly grabbed ahold of the hilt of Tal's sword as he tugged for her to come along, wanting to make sure he didn't forget all about it and leave it here, just in case he'd need it.
With Tal's sword in hand, the glow not around it since she couldn't control it like he could, she followed him, feeling a bit energized as they walked towards the exit.
She looked up to him as he spoke, saying that he knew the location of the factory the ghost was in, and that the ghost child bore the same thought patterns as Ophelia, which Kaya could guesstimate to be 'Mistress O's' real name, and saying that it shouldn't be hard for them to make their way to the destination.
" Okay, I'll try to be careful if we run into any danger," she said to him, nodding as they exited out the dining hall, heading out to the Abandoned Factory. ☯☯

Tehuti watched the other students gibber on about whatever it was, rippin into a rabbit as they exchanged words and left.

He was more or less alone again, some students were still floating around as they usually did but other than that he was undisturbed where he sat chewing on a nice tender liver.

((Well, short post is short... I donno what to add to it >.> ))

It had been a long night for Graves. He had been working on learning a new spell from his arcane book. Every time he tried it blew up and smoked, horribly. He just hoped the neighbors didn't complain about the copper and burn hair smell. Graves ran his hand through his multi-colored hair, feeling where the hair had burned. He opened the doors with his other hand and looked about. There weren't many students, but it was pretty early in the morning. Graves hopped to find something decent here, but knew he might have to special order something. Something about burnt, feted or raw food tasted so much better than regular food. Plus Ray hadn't come back, he was worried, but knew she needed some time to herself.

Graves looked at the food, not finding a thing to eat. He gave a fake upset face at the food. He leaned under the sneeze guard and scaring one of the assistants. He asked if they had anything that they might have gone bad or burned. She gave him a strange look, but went to look for him. 'hopefully they have something...' He moved away from the sneeze guard and turned around to look at people here. Everyone was pretty normal looking, but one was strange. "Is that fur?" He Cocked his head to the left as he talked to himself. There was something familiar about that student, but Graves couldn't figure out why. He did want to see what this person looked like, but first he needed to wait for the assistant to come back. He started to hum a few bars from Good Charlotte's 'Day That I Die' while he waited.

Well, he needs a bit of colour in him doesn't he now!

Skinning some pelt of a leg before he ate it, Tehuti could honestly say that he didn't even notice the curious student come in until he spoke, his ear twitching and swiveling round in response. As the rest of his senses caught up with his hearing, a sudden rush met him from the man standing by the counters. The smell of forgotten kills, the outside and of damp... He looked quite unique too, but Tehuti wasn't really one to comment on that himself.

"Yes it is fur, does it trouble you?" Tehuti growled as he turned to look over his shoulder with a few stains of blood smeared all over his muzzle and face. Tehuti didn't mean to growl though, not in an unfriendly way, it was just how his voice came out... Like a professor that had swallowed a bag of gravel. In face, he was actually trying to be polite! If any of the students were ever put off by his easting habits then Tehuti was more than happy to move elsewhere, same could be said for his appearance though it was a little more personal, not that he ever made a big deal of it.

He looked the rather pale plagued looking man up and down, popping another lump of flesh into his mouth as he waited for a response...

Graves waited patiently, off in his own world. Seeming to have forgotten the student with fur. Graves, always off in his own world unless someone was there with him. His head still cocked to the side, when he heard a rough as sand-paper growl-y voice. Graves eyes widened as his elbow, that was perched on the counter, suddenly slipped. As he fell, his head my contact with the counter. A loud crack echoing for a second as he landed on the ground. It appeared that he might have been unconscious, but the hand going to cover his face told otherwise.

Graves was trying to hold back a laugh, he hadn't expected the voice that caused him to slip. As he sat up the laugh could help but slip out, mostly aimed at himself. "Th...that....was so awe....some....." Graves said in between breaths. "who.....ever...said...that.....no....it doesn't...bother me...." Graves still trying to stop laughing while looking around to figure out spoke with such a freaky voice. His eyes found Tehuti's eyes, Graves stood up carefully, his laughter dying down. 'Wow, he very different then anyone i've seen.' Graves thought to himself. The blood not escaping him. "Sorry i didn't realize that i had said that out loud....." Graves said while checking the back of his head for anything. No blood, possible fracture, and no lasting damage. That's good news for him and Ray who would have killed him for talk like that out loud. Maybe that was karma being his sister for a moment.

(yes, yes he does >:3)

Ooooooo TIIIMMMBBEERRR!!!

All that he could do was stare as the guy slipped on nothing and slapped to the floor like a sack of potatoes... It wasn't every day you seen someone fall over so hard.
"Emm... Are you ok? That looked rather nasty." Tehuti asked standing as he put down a new rabbit pelt like it was the wrapper off of a chocolate bar.

At least this guy was concious after a fall like that, Tehuti didn't want to have to carry another student through the halls again, people tended to get the wrong idea seeing him with a 'lifeless' body... Once another student had even woke up, thinking he was being taken out for dinner... and he was the meal!! Looking back on it Tehuti couldn't help but laugh though.

Tehuti stood up slowly and cleaned the blood from his face like any other cat would before walking over to check on the man. Pushing a few chairs in on his short walk Tehuti found himself standing over him, and with the guy laying on the floor, and Tehuti towering over him, the height difference was suddenly apparent. Even more apparent when Tehuti found he had to crouch slightly to offer the now even more pungent man a large furry paw up!

Graves couldn't believe he fell over, sometime he could be kind of klutz. It didn't help that he wasn't all that cautious. Dying kind of did that to someone, Graves wasn't sure if he could die. He watched awe struck when Tehuti stood up. He was huge! Graves didn't even see the rabbit pelt, lost in this students appearance and height. He wished Ray was here....Scratch that. She would be so freaked out by him, that Ray wouldn't stop being defensive. "Yeah, i'm fine." Graves scratched his head and he took Tehuti's hand. Graves hand was as cold as ice, which was completely normal for him. Most might think he was a vampire because of how he acted and the physical 'symptoms' he had. 'Man, he's as warm. Feels kind of nice.' Graves thought to himself, always liking people warmth. "I've fallen from a two story tree before, perfectly fine." Graves told Tehuti as he stood up fully. He stopped to think for a second, not letting go of his hand "Uh....Name's Graves....Nice to meet ya." He said, shake Tehuti hand.

I for one CAN make those falls, larger and not be bothered...

It felt like Graves had never seen a summer, or heard of a jumper(sweater) either. The man was freezing! Tehuti didn't have that problem though, he had fur, lots of it.
"It is nice to make your acquaintance. My name is Tehuti. And from two stories? I suppose that would be unusual for one of your build yes.Are you perhaps, an undead?" Tehuti said calmly in his usual deep gravely voice down to Graves. There was still quite the height difference, even with Graves standing up straight. And there was that lingering smell, Tehuti just couldn't shake it from his sensitive nose.

The sun was beginning to creep nicely through the morning clouds as it came closer towards what was established as 'proper' morning, a patch of it hitting Tehuti in the middle of his back with a welcome radiant warmth.

Without even thinking Tehuti licked one of his paws and washed a patch of fur that had been sticking together on his cheek, seemed he hadn't gotten all of the blood clear quite yet.

Graves looked up at the hunching cat man. He thought that he was tall, his sister was about his height with her legs. This guy was impressively tall. "That's a name i've never heard before. It's very exotic and foreign." A large smile growing on his face. Graves loved to make friends and didn't meet may people that were from far away places.

"Heh, is it that obvious that i'm dead?" Graves thought for a second. "Oh god, i probably smell don't I? I should of taken a shower before i left the room." Graves tried to sniff himself, although he couldn't smell him self since he was use to it. He stopped trying to sniff himself when he heard a woman clear her throat. He turned around for a second to find a plate of very black and crispy food. Graves eyes sparkled for a second. "Thank you!" He said to the girl as she nodded and left. Graves grabbed the plate and turned back to Tehuti. "Hey would you mind if i ate with you?"

Raw meats for cooked? Aye?

Shaking his head to say that he didn't care at all, Tehuti waved a paw towards an empty seat next to his own blood dripped table.
" Yes, I seem to be of Egyptian origins. though I do not remember it. And no, not to the average person I assume! But I for one have sensitive nose. I can smell the dirt and mould radiating from your body." Tehuti stated as he sat back down to finish of half of a rabbit that was left on the table.

Tehuti shook his head and motioned at an empty seat as Graves asked about eating with him... If anything Tehuti missed cooked meats a little... Maybe Graves would half him some meats for a piece of rabbit!... Only time could tell...
((Lol! actually, the words in size7(small) under the pic are meant to be as if the character it's self was commenting on the post as if it was just submitted. It's not OOC really, more like the character commenting on something that happened to them personally from a future perspective, if you get me razz ))

Graves smiled widely as he walked over. He tried to not lay his arms on the blood covered table. "Hmm, Egyptian, you don't say." Graves said his curiosity growing. "That suck, that you don't remember anything." Graves said while eating the burnt food. It tasted wonderful to him, to anyone else it would have sent them to the bathroom. "Glad to hear that. I thought i just stunk." He chuckled slightly. Graves absently drew symbols in the blood with his unoccupied hand, it was just a habit when any liquid was in front of him. "So what brings you to Mitomi, Tehuti?" Graves asked curious about Tehuti.

(oh, hahaha derp! Still a nifty thing to do)

Lost in the pages of time...

Tehuti sat back down at the messy table, much to the dismay of the kitchen attendant that handed Graves his charcoal.
"Oh please do not worry Miss. If you supply me with a cloth I shall clean up this mess myself. I am sure it is not in your job description to wipe up rabbit carcases anyway." He said over Graves' shoulder to the lady, who looked either disgusted, or angry, or maybe even worried. He couldn't tell...
"Yes, as I said I have no memory of my past, well nothing except the past year or so... So I came here to try and find somewhere to start anew, most of the world sees me as a monster, especially in modern societies. Mitomi on the other hand has plenty of 'interesting' people, so I hoped maybe I could fit in here instead, maybe even uncover something about my past in the history books and legends that exist around here. I am sure there has to be something. so far I have had no luck though, and the only thing I have to go on is my looks." Tehuti rambled, if anything he was getting worked up about it... Not sad, just annoyed that he hadn't been able to uncover anything yet, though it wasn't true that he only had his looks, the lump of silver was there too, though it seemed even more obscure.
"I mean, I am not exactly an average person, or an average cat..." He said watching Graves draw out some symbols in the puddle, some of them looked familiar, almost like hieroglyphs, but not quite...
"What about yourself Graves? Why have you taken up residence in these walls?2 Tehuti asked, returning the question.

((on a different note, I found myself a new theme for Thuri, seems to fit him better than the last one. [link]
Think I'll update his profile too, get him more into shape for posting))

Graves watched Tehuti converse with the kitchen attendant, who apparently wasn't to happy about all of the blood. Graves hand still drawing the symbols, although the blood had no magical qualities. So the symbols had no effect on the blood, it was only a writing board. Graves looked at Tehuti as he talked, nodding at certain parts. "That seems fair enough. Losing your memory would be hard and blending into 'normal' society is hard enough when you....." Graves didn't want to be mean to Tehuti, but he said it as carefully as possible. "...look like yo do. My sister has a problem much like yours, but it a 22 foot wing span. They compress down some what, but they make it hard to live in the city. " Graves kind of explained. Ray hadn't always had such large wings, but one day they grew much larger than her. Other than the fact that they were being hunted down by the police, Ray's wings made it impossible to try and set up 'normal' life. "Well, i wish you luck with your memory, Graves watched Tehuti as he seemed to get agitated. Graves picked a burnt fry and happily ate it. He thought for a second about why he was here. Many reasons, but the only one was his sister. "Well like i said, my sister doesn't fit into the modern world. I've got nothing better to do with my unlife, so i followed her here. I'm the oldest and i have to watch her, she's pretty anti-social and hidden. Although i think that's apart of her nature. while i'm here, i would love to learn something new about any ability i have." Graves said as his hand stopped writing symbols in the blood.

Abilities... Unknown...

"Oh no need to worry about offending me. I can tell you mean it in the frankest of ways, if you were to victimise me for my looks that would be different though aha! I feel that you know of the stigma that comes from looking 'unique' in society." Tehuti laughed, his mood lightening from his slip into irateness.

It was just then that one of the kitchen workers made her way over the tiled floor to their table, she looked a bit flustered though.
"Thanks again for the rabbits, but, next time when you're going to eat could you maybe tell us first? We don't mind you eating here at all no no! But we can give you a bucket for the 'scraps' and, emm, yeah you know what I mean..." She said and gingerly sat a cloth on the table top between Graves and Tehuti, and with a nervous laugh she wandered back over to the kitchens doors, where the chef stood with a beaming grin and a rabbit in his hand. Tehuti's hunting had went down well once again.
"Haha! Thank you, I shall try to remember that in future ma'me." Tehuti said in amusement, partly at his own stupidity for not thinking of that before starting but also due to the kindness of the chef here. He was always glad to see gifts of fresh meats, the kitchen workers were a little mixed through, with some being indifferent and others a little fearful which was totally understandable.

Coming back to the conversation Tehuti watched as Graves drew yet more symbols down in the smears.
"Hmm..." he thought in a low growl. "I know many others in the Academy with abilities, though I for one have made no discovery about any I may have... The only think I can think of is not needing to drink, and enjoying the hot sun... Those may just be biological for me though being a humanoid cat." Tehuti stated from his thoughts. It wasn't anything that he had pondered on before, he was happy enough with what he had.
"Have you found yourself being able to do things normal people cannot? I mean other than being undead... That is a pretty obvious 'ability'." He asked Graves as he began to wipe the tabletop of blood, bones, fur and sinew.

Tenshi gazed up at the enormous building as their little foursome group approached what was Mitomi High's dining hall.
Really, the big building part was no surprise, it surely had to be big enough to hold all of the students that came here to eat during mealtimes of the day.
It sort of reminded him of the old feasting hall back at the dojo he had trained at, but it was smaller and much less impressive than this.
The sun was beginning to peak over the horizon, splashes of red-orange and gold light decorating the sky with bright morning glow as the group got closer to the dining hall.
Tenshi was a bit curious as to what was served here at the dining hall, and wondered if they had anything like Asian food, though he figured he could go for something a little more...breakfast-like.
Maybe bacon and eggs? The wolf samurai's mind continued to probe about for ideas of what to eat once they got into the dining hall.
Really, he could eat just about anything, even if it didn't technically count as breakfast, but what the hell, he was rambling in his head again...
The enormous doors of the dining hall loomed over them, and Tenshi, eager as to what awaited them within, stepped forward and opened one of the doors.
Smells of cooking food smacked into him like a wall of cinderblocks as soon as that door opened, and he grinned widely, taking a deep whiff, " Hoooo boy! Sumthin' smells bloody brill, mate!"
Gripping the doorhandle, he stepped aside, opening it a bit more, and gestured to his companions, " Ladies, n' cats, first, if'n ya please~" he said, a slight smirk on his face as he said the cats part, as he waited for them to go in first as he held the door open.

Tiamek sniffed the air as Tenshi opened the door to the dining hall, and a wave of smells swept over them from within the dining hall.
She could detect a variety of foods within the menagerie of scents, though they were all mingling together so much, it was hard to tell some apart from others.
The smells also galvanized her stomach to growl even louder than before, causing her to quickly wrap an arm around it, a deep pink blush tinting her cheeks.
" Sorry..." she quickly apologized in a soft voice, smiling a little as Tenshi said that something smelled 'bloody brill,' yet more of his British talk again.
He stepped aside and out of the doorway, gesturing and saying ladies and cats first.
Tiamek curled her lip a bit and gave Tenshi a sort of glare as he said the 'cats' part, before she glanced between Mariya and Axel, smiling a bit, before she moved up and stepped into the dining hall as the samurai held the door open.
" Thank you," she said politely to him, before proceeding a bit down the hall.
The smells of the food got stronger as she approached the main area, and, upon peering around the corner, noticed how dim the lights seemed, giving the place a sort of, strange but welcoming feel.
Her eyes roved about, taking account of the number of students present in the dining hall, before she looked over to the large assortment of food lined up at the buffet.
" I've never seen so many choices of foods in one place before," she breathed in amazement, her ears flicking about to the bustle of the place as she eyed the food, " I am uncertain of where to even begin..."
Many of the eatery items looked rather odd to her, she felt like she wanted to try a little of everything, but she knew to control herself, gluttony was a scorn to her clan's code.
She glanced back towards the doorway, waiting for Mariya, Axel, and Tenshi to come in as well.
