Julian's eyebrows had risen when the professor announced the seating arrangements. The layout wasn't very comforting, but maybe he could just... sit down and try and focus on the lesson.

So he quietly moved to the seat he was assigned and sat down, a ghoul assigned to the chairs on either side of him. One he knew from Sex-Ed class (Yaya), she had been in the group that had caused so many problems. The other one gave him a soft hello, but he didn't recognize her.

"Evening, miss. I'm Julian," he replied (To Natalia) with a small nod, filing her name away.

Apparently, the parrot boy was very talkative. Her eyes crinkled at his boisterous reply, and she nodded slightly. I can hear you. I'm not sure what a triple pleasure is, but I am glad to hear it. At the mention of the kilt, her eyes widened softly. Was that yours, really? She let out a soft vibrating chuckle. I'm glad to hear I didn't stretch it. I was careful.

She watched him lean over to try and get everyone's attention, and was mildly impressed with how fervently he was attempting to touch base with as many people as possible. That was a very good trait, it helped make the necessary social connections. She watched his prey as he tried to get their attention, awaiting their response to his cheerful greetings.

Hadiyya hadn't actually realized until after the fact that she'd been watching Gabrian so intently. Not until he'd taken to watching her in turn. It made the djinn blink, though a small smile followed soon after, as well as a tiny twitch of fingers in the form of an inconspicuous wave.

There really was too much going on around her for her to focus on any one person for more then a moment or two though, and she quickly turned her attention down to Calder as he practically laid over the table to speak to Riley. Yaya hadn't noticed him coming in, but she could easily say she was happy to see him. "Calder, good to see you again."

The kelpie turned back, clapping his hands. "Oh, I did do it!" Then he stopped and reconsidered. He instead thought it. Yay! I did do it. I thought there was a trick to it that look lots of years. Like how people bends spoons. Can I do this with everyone? That would be fun. Saves paper than sending notes, though I do make a mean cursive. Not to mention he did make wonderful hearts above his eyes or skulls, depending on his mood. He didn't feel like they would be doing much writing in this class though. He really wasn't sure what they could do in this class besides setting at a long table. He hoped they would eat things. He liked eating.

Just then, he turned back to Riley. Do I have to think everything to you or does it just flow? Can you read minds? All the time. That ..wasn't such a good idea. Oh, if she kept reading his mind, then she'd find out some super secret things he was keeping, and what if she saw images too! Like Alabaster in a hot tub drinking a martini. Did she see that?! Eep!!!

Calder reached out and set a hand on Riley's forehead to stop the mind connection. "Is there an off switch? Off. You can't see that. That's my private thought. You didn't see anything." He slowly moved his hand away before looking about, attention once again somewhere else. That wasn't to say he was keeping an eye on Riley. She could know a big secret about him.

Once again leaning on the table to the point his stomach was flat against it, Calder waved to Yaya. "Hiiiiiii Yaaayaaaa! It's good to see you again too and in your own clothes!" Of course anyone who didn't go to their game might be confused. "Riley is here! Remember her? And Natalia!" He pointed to each of them as if anyone would know them. He just found out there names in all honesty, but he was sure everyone would remember them from the game. Natalia kissed a lot and Riley danced with his kilt on. Turning to the two girls beside him, he smiled. "Yaya says hi."

Charlie hadn't caught the warning that Alessa had given Gabe. He was to content staring at those sweet a** ghost threads to really notice much else in all honesty. It wasn't until Gabe spoke to him again that the pink haired demon came to.

"Huh?" Charlie scratched his head. " Oh yeaaah Comfort man. Comforts the way to go out. Kinda sucks if you don't plan it though I guess." He turns to Holly and frowns, "I want you to know even if its not planned ... Those are some sweat threads man! I totally say it was probably worth it." He gave Holly a thumbs up before turning back to Gabe.

"Manners?" Charlie repeated letting his jaw fall a little slack. So he was in a manners class. "I mean.. YEAH .. Manners.... " Charlie gave Gabe a smile. "I suppose some people do need to learn manners." The pink haired demon thought about this for a small moment. Manners. Those were the things his mother had always screamed about. Had he known there would be a class about them, Charlie would have paid closer attention to her screams.

What was it again? 'Charlie don't talk with your mouth full. Don't make mud pies in the good china. Don't eat with your hands!' Seemed to Charlie this was going to be the class of don'ts.

Hufff.... Charlie sighed and leaned back in his chair. One booted foot held him steady just barely. That was until Amrita the ghoul who had helped him earlier caught his sight.

"OH HEY AMRI-" And with a crash Charlie was down on the floor fallen over completely. It didn't seem Charlie was hurt or even minded so much as he was quickly back up in his seat in no time and waving like a fool to Amrita who was just a few seats down.

Focus snapped back into the little Vetala's eye when she heard a part of her name...and then she flinched visibly at the loud CRASH that soon followed. Leaning forward to look past Gabrian and Holly only caught her a glimpse of flailing leg. Huh. One blink later, Charlie was back in his seat with that stupid, overly happy smile on his face. She stared past the other students that were between them, and then, she laughed.

It was a rare noise to come from the Undead child, but there it was. She chuckled at the Demon who was waving oh-so-happily to her, and after taking a struggling few moments to reign in the giggles she lifted a reversed hand to wave back.

"Hi, Charlie." She said, pressing what remained of her lips together and tightening her jaw shortly after, to try and stop laughing at him. He didn't deserve it! "A-are you okay?" She asked a moment later, the fleshy half of her face twisted in an overly amused grin.

Charlie couldn't help but grin even more at Amritas laughter. Laughter meant happy people right? So Charlie never minded a good laugh from some one.

"I THINK MY HEAD IS HARDER!" He practically yelled to Amrita. "THEN YOURS I MEAN! I THINK MY HEADS HARDER THEN YOURS!" There was no reason for him to be practically shouting across Gabe and Holly to Amrita since she was just two people away but Charlie didn't know that. Seemed polite manners to talk loud enough for the other person to hear and Charlie wanted to put in a good impression after all.

Amrita's eye widened a bit when he started to yell at her. There were only two people between them?! What was he even yelling abo----oh, that! Well, there went the giggles!

"Charlie, shhhh!" She A bit of a blush creeped up on her cheek and she bit down lightly on what was left of her lip for a moment, before continuing. "You don't have to yell I can hear you!" She scolded in a harsh whisper, even going to far as to wag a bruised fingertip at the Demon.

"W-We'e been through this! It was an accident!" Not that this would make sense to anyone else. "AND MY HEAD ISN'T HARD!" It was her turn to yell apparently, but in her defense...well, it was in her defense! With a bit of an embarrassed 'eep' at being so noisy, she continued in a lower voice. "Yours definitely is."

Amritas mighty shhh silenced the shouting Charlie if for only a moment. Charlie listened to what Amrita had to say. For some reason she was being modest about her hard head. Okay. So she didn't want people to know how awesome a head she had. Charlie could understand that.

"My head is pretty hard bro." Charlie managed not to shout this time since Amrita said she could hear him just fine. He nodded in agreement before settling down a bit.

In all honesty, Gabrian would have liked to know what he'd done to warrant Alessa's warning glance; as far as he was concerned, he'd been nothing but polite to her since coming into the room. That aside, he thought that he was being particularly friendly that day. The fact that Charlie and Holly were both happily conversing with him was more than enough proof of that, wasn't it? In the nix's humble opinion, someone should kindly point out to the rabbit ghoul just how rude she was being to him.

The fact Merope was seated so far away made it imposible to continue their previous conversation, but the demon did nod at the undead dragon-creature, as if to point out that yes, he'd heard him, and that they should, perhaps, continue their talking some other time.

Leaning over Amrita's desk over so slightly, he caught sight of Livi and smiled at the other demon, taking a moment to shoot the undead ghoul an apologetic glance, "Very much so. I'm not surprised to see you here, Livi. I knew there was a reason I'd taken a liking to you when we met up in that jack-forsaken icy path. You have very good taste, both in clothes and classes," that done, he seated himself more comfortably back into his own seat and addressed the undead ghoul, "I'm sorry; I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Gabrian... and who might you be, my dear? I think I only vaguely recall spotting you during the raid," she seemed shy enough, and almost as if in an attempt to comfort her, he'd lowered his tone of voice. It was a tactic he used on some of the more skittish minipets; he wasn't sure if it'd work with the ghoul, but it was worth a try?

It was right about then that Holly spoke up, and he turned his head towards the ghost, "A fox spirit?" he paused to give her a look over, and then nodded, "Ah, that makes much sense. I find myself wondering if you look quite as cute in your other form as in this one," yes, that was in fact a compliment. And he did mean it; while it was true she was dressed up in a most unconventional way, it was cute.

He did, also, in fact, catch the small inconspicuous wave that Yaya offered him from across the room, and he found he couldn't help but smirk slightly in return, lifting his own hand slightly in a salute. He made mental note to seek her out after class; she looked rather interesting.

Charlie's voice dragged him out of his thought bubble and he the nix demon turned to watch the pink haired boil. He swiftly came to the realization that Charlie was... well, special seemed like a good word to describe him, "Oh yes, surely. Comfort is always a wise choice, though I, myself, think that it depends the occasion. Formal, elegant wear, while not that comfortable, is perfect for certain occasions. Though I guess I'd hate to be stuck in one of those suits for all eternity, without the possibility to change out of- " he cut himself short as the boil crashed to the floor, and Gabrian winced.

Special indeed. There was no doubt about it; he leaned back to allow Charlie to holler over him to the undead ghoul to his left, arching a brow, "Well," he drawled out, clearly amused, "Aren't you a lively bunch?" he was addressing both Charlie and Amrita at this point. He was actually glad he'd joined this class, seeing as how the company seemed particularly entertaining, if not... well, sweet, actually, out of lack for a better word.

Riley found herself a little taken back by how much this young boil had to say to her. She looked as though she was going to respond to his questions several times, but he never stopped talking long enough to give her the chance, so she just.. let him keep going.

That is, until he touched her forehead.

She batted his hand away lightly and cocked a brow. Here now, stop that. There is no off switch on me. And no, you can't talk to other people in their minds, only me. Luckily for Calder, she had not received the image of Alabaster - he had wanted that thought to remain private, and Riley could not extract thoughts that were not directly sent to her.

She gave Yaya a side glance when Calder spoke with her, and lifted her hand up to curl her long fingers in lieu of a wave. Well, tell her I said hello back then, she murmured to Calder smoothly, happy to play his little game.

Ms. Winter had seen just about enough by this point. Or perhaps she'd had enough of the smell of the two undead dragons sitting nearest to her (a decision that perhaps she'd regret at a later time). Everyone was seated, and with the exception of the pink haired demon getting up and running off, most people seemed to have settled nicely. There was a fair amount of chatter going on, and she'd been listening intently. The professor's pygmy fox had returned to it's seat on her lap, and she gave him a loving pat before turning to the large apparition standing next to her.

"Xypher, I would greatly appreciate that, the next time, when I ask you to complete a task for me, that you would kindly do it yourself, and not leave poor Rhanon to do so." the pygmy fox looked up at Xypher, while the apparition simply gave a mute nod.

"Now class," she addressed the student body before her, "It has become rather apparent, in this brief time, that many of you seem to truly require the lessons that I will be putting forth to you. I'd prefer not to waste anymore time, at this juncture, and simply begin." the demon's chair moved back, and Xypher took her hand while Rhanon hopped down to the floor. Ms.Winter stood and motioned toward the dance floor, where a red line seemed to have drawn itself down the center.

"We will begin with a simple task that I will require of you all. After that we shall commence with proper introductions, and if everything follows through according to schedule, you will receive your textbooks for your history lessons."

"Now, if you would all follow me, please?" their professor made her way to the dance floor, and stood at the head of the line.

"I've noticed a few of you seem to be lack in appreciate for good posture." she eyed the sloth demon that was amongst their ranks momentarily. "While I understand posture can be a difficult adjustment for those of you who have been unfamiliar with it's benefits, it is a necessary lifestyle change on the path to becoming proper young boils and ghouls." a thin, silver pointer appeared in her hand and she whipped it to gesture to the end of the line.

"Simple enough, I would like for you all to walk down this line, turn, and come back. However, you must do this with your held held high, shoulders relaxed. Look straight forward, do not look down, and please, do not lean either forward or backwards as this will arch your back and ruin the lesson. This will be done in two parts, this is the first. If you fail, you will be required to make the walk again, until you get it right."

"If one of you would like to volunteer to go first, that would be, indeed, lovely." the professor stepped back from the line, and simply waited for the results.

((OOC : Okay guys =D First off, sorry for the late post I ended up being longer out than expected.

That aside, what I'd like you guys to do is roll ONE D20.

1-5 : You feel yourself falter, you must repeat the task.

6-18 : Pass

19-20 : You fall. Yes. You fall. You must repeat the task.

====

If you are unfortunate enough to fail this task 3 times, the fourth will be an auto-pass, though it will still require an RP post, as the dice are clearly not with you and we must move onto the next part of this test.

Thanks! ))

Apparently, the professor had had enough chatter for one class it seemed, seeing as how she hushed them by addressing the class. Gabrian's gaze lifted to focus on Ms. Winter as she explained the task at hand and he arched a brow. As far as he was concerned... walking down a red line didn't seem like something that would be all that difficult. Unless one was drunk. Or lacked a whole lot of balance (which he'd noticed was possible - specially for those students whom spent most of their time in their true form and were not used to a more humanoid one).

Alas, seeing as how no one seemed to be hurrying to volunteer themselves to be first, Gabrian stood from his seat, "I will give it a try, if I may," the sooner they got over the more boring parts of the lesson, surely they'd do something more interesting, yes? It made sense to get the awkwardness over as soon as demonly possible. He waited for silent confirmation from Ms. Winter, and then advanced towards the line, performing the given task with what he hoped were acceptable results; he walked up the line... and then back down, deciding that this would probably have been a lot worse if their Professor had decided to make them do a balancing act over some sort of deep gorge.

When he was done, he paused for a moment to look at Ms. Winter and then returned to his seat.

Much to Jericho's displeasure, class had gotten started. Frowning, he looked over towards the teacher, listening to what she had to say. When she requested them to come over to the dance floor, he was worried for a moment. They weren't about to start dancing were they?

Luckily they weren't. Instead it was some little thing about posture.

One of the other boys had gone ahead and went first. Once he was done, he went on ahead to get it over with. The dragon walked with a sense of both confidence and annoyance. He had to keep himself from essentially sauntering down the line and before too long he was done to let the next student give it a shot.

Looking over towards Barth, he couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for the sloth demon who didn't want to do any walking here. So much for that. He also looked over at Christof, wondering how the haunchback patchwork was going to be pulling this off. Surely Ms. Winters wouldn't dock him too much there right?
