Shehk was sort of at a loss for what to do. She stood there, watching Altair while trying to sort her thoughts on how the hell had she not known that was coming?? She liked to think she was a smart enough person. Had she just suspected he had the manners to not jump right on her when they'd just met? (She wasn't...entirely complaining, it hadn't been...it...wasn't..GAH. She couldn't even make a cohesive thought about it!)
Either way, when her leg was freed from the ...'affections' of Cam who had turned it's attentions onto the Incubus's fingers.... somehow, she imagined that wouldn't be pleasant. It had been one of the few upsides to being dead; her flesh wasn't exactly of the delicious tasting variety. At least, she thought it wasn't.
She'd never tasted her own flesh before.
Precious, on the other hand, regarded the Cthulu with mild interest, her feathers ruffling up but still remaining on it's perch, even without the look that her owner gave her.. though it was a very curiously 'Oh my jack, what just happened and was it real?' in it's daze.
How curious.
"So your mother wouldn't disapprove of that....?"

Altair's nose crinkled, brow furrowing as Cam turned to suck on his fingers. "Agh, no, you little b*****d..." he swore, shaking his hand, reaching with his free one to pry it off, tossing it back at Riley, shaking his fingers off, checking that there was still skin on his digits, sighing and shuddering, skin prickling as he checked that the Cthulu was gone, wiping his hand off on his pants. Aquila wanted to eat the minipet, but he didn't dare.
Altair, however, was having similar thoughts along the lines of Shehk's concerning the contemplation of the flavor of her flesh. Her mouth had tasted good enough, and he smirked, straightening, relaxing, and laughed as the Pricolici asked that question. He would certainly be tasting more of her skin if she gave him half a chance.
"It was just a hint about the male psyche, my dear. If you'd like, we can head back and I can give you a few more hints before the party on Saturday night," he raised his eyebrow, grinning.

Shehk wasn't sure what would happen if she'd said 'I'm not sure I'm any more informed now'... which was why she didn't. She also was spending a moment making sure her skirt hadn't been ruffled all over the place by wandering hands. Frowning probably didn't help all that much to mask the fluster, either.
"Well, it certainly was a...loud hint." the Pricolici replied, sighing as she held an arm out to offer to Precious, who eyed it for a moment, before moving over to her new perch, ruffling her feathers as she looked at the array of pets that were still about.
And here they thought they'd gotten away from all the pet insanity.
"Though I feel like I already knew that one.." she added once she'd gotten her appearance back to 'socially presentable' rather than 'someone got their hands on me'. Even though that part of it was likely readable from her expression.
She couldn't help but look ruffled by the entire situation.
"I didn't realize that's what we were calling 'hints' now...." Shehk added, really tempted to pull her collar up over her lips. GUILT, SHE JUST RADIATED IT. Which may have been delightful to feed off of. But she was a normal-eating-vampire, not a feed-off-of-not-blood sort.

To say Nukpana was very angry would have been a drastic understatement.
It was difficult to tell where the skinwalker had come from. There was the slightest sound of fast, heavy paws hitting the dead grass and the slightest scent of WOLF, the only warning before the jet-black fur dominated the senses, the gleam of blood-stained canines and the unnaturally dark eyes. There had been no indication of his presence, no storming in when the incubus had first taken Shehk's hand to kiss the backs of her fingers, or annoyed snap of a return at all the quips at his expense. Anyone who even vaguely knew Nuk would have known he wouldn't have thought twice before doing it either, the process of leap-before-you-look so thoroughly ingrained in him it would likely be impossible to train him otherwise. He was certainly not the patient planner it would have taken to wait this long.
Altair, however, would likely not have gotten the chance to reach that conclusion before a large, heavy fist connected with his face with a resounding, meaty 'thud'.
Nuk had shifted mid-motion. It was something he liked to do regardless, but in this instance it served a greater purpose than the slightly-dizzying effect of seeing something rearrange so quickly. He might have not been the most dedicated of students, but enough fights had taught him that an object in motion wanted to stay in motion, much less a heavy creature like a bear -- all the kinetic energy of his pounding sprint had transferred to the large, muscular form of the bruteball player. And although the result was not nearly satisfactory enough for the infuriated skinwalker, he couldn't deny that it satisfying. If he had any say in the matter, that satisfaction would be a drop in the bucket.
Panting hard, Nuk's lips curled back around long, sharp canines, every muscle in his body still tense, as if just itching to descend again.
"If you ever kiss my girlfriend again, I will rip you apart, demon."
Glowing amber eyes flashed at the other dark-haired student, his already gravelly voice had taking on a dangerous quality, no hint of teasing lingering in his tone. To onlookers, it was likely impossible to tell they were friends with the lack of even a moment's hesitation -- to Nuk, this just added a whole new dimension of passion to the equation.

Riley was still waiting for a response when something warm and wiggly slammed into her face. She pulled the cthulhu away, turning to glare viciously at the culprit who had just flung her pet at her - but her glare softened to surprise at what she saw. Not too far away, there was a boil.. and he was all over Shehk.
Curses on Israfel, infinite curses on him for that long night they had spent together, where he had instilled in her some sort of dedicated fandom for the couple she hardly knew. Seeing some other boil with his hands on Shehk.. well it wasn't sitting right with her. Luckily, it wouldn't last long.
She caught sight of the blur, and put down her Cthulhu to stride up slowly behind Shehk just as Nuk laid the smackdown on the demon who dared touch his chosen. Hearing the thud of impact gave Riley a little shiver - she knew then that her instincts had been right. Nuk would make an -excellent ally-. Her hand reached out to touch Shehk's arm softly, wrapping long fingers around it to keep her from stopping Nuk's wrath. Her voice, however, was sent to Nuk's mind alone.
If you want, I'll hold him, and you punch.

So that was what the dragons name was! Astra would have to remember it next time she saw him...well, that was if she did see him again. Although, she wasn't sure if she liked him. The guy wouldn't let her stand on his head! meanie!
At any rate, it took a few moments for her to realize Riley was speaking to her through her mind, and a few more to remember why this was so, having heard her faintly in the black room. "Thats alright, there was a lot happening back there. My name Is Astra, and I'm pleased to meet you Riley" She may as well be polite, as this student didn't seem like one she would want to mess around with. But Riley seemed like a nice student, so it was all good.
Her attention was then drawn to a thudding noise behind, and she caught the last seconds of the FALCON punch done by Nuk. Her small eyes went even wider. Holy woah how did he just do that!?! She then backed away, taking some shelter behind Riley since The newcomer looked like he was about to kill someone, probably the demon would was smooching his proposed girlfriend.

Altair stroked Aquila's scales back into smoothness, soothing the Chimaera a moment, letting Shekh regain some of her composure before he smirked over at her. He opened his mouth to quip, probably something equally cheeky, when Aquila tensed under his touch, his hackles starting to rise again, and Altair barely managed to wonder what had gotten into the beast when the shape of a huge black wolf suddenly dominated his vision, the demon's golden eyes widening in the moment just before the fist connected with his face. The force behind the blow knocked the incubus right off his feet, sending him sprawling tail over horn. Aquila yelped, his snake tail curling between his legs as he darted back, bristling, red eyes wide, but not even he had the balls to defend his master when Nuk looked like that.
The demon sat up slowly with a pained groan, pushing himself up with one arm and covering his nose and mouth with one hand, pulling his fingers slightly back from his face and scowling at the sight of blood, glaring up at Nuk at that none-too-idle threat. The demon wasn't used to being on the receiving end of pain, and although he'd known he would piss Nuk off, he hadn't been expecting comeuppance quite so swiftly or decisively. Altair hissed as he started to get to his feet, rolling his shoulders, itching to fight, though the potency of Nuk's fury gave him pause. He had never seen the skinwalker so angry-- it was impressive. As the mindflayer came up alongside Shekh, he relaxed a little more, though there was still an undercurrent of tension, both in the incubus's frame and in the Chimaera half-hiding behind his legs, ready to spring into action.
Giving his nose and split lip a final wipe, Altair smirked at Nuk, shrugging, not looking entirely dignified with black blood dripping from his nose.
"Without an immense stroke of luck and the element of surprise, I doubt that, skinwalker. Your bark is worse than your bite," he purred, his eyes glinting. Many creatures would probably have the good sense not to mess with Nukpana, but Altair knew no such inhibitions.

Shehk really could have used an interdimensional pocket to hide herself in right then. Because while the situation had been awkward before, now it was just getting downright horrible. In fact, Shehk was really inclined to make a getaway right then given how thickly awkward the situation was getting.
She would never be able to answer why she hadn't just fled the scene either.
The Pricolici just settled for grabbing her collar and yanking it up as far over her face as she could. This got her to about the nose before it failed her. Nooooo!!!
So she just muttered swears to herself. A lot of swears to herself. Oh man..... She did, however, make a point of moving over away from the hiss-fest of 'I BEETCHU UP' 'NO, I BEETCHUUUUU UP!!' going on, practically talking between herself, Precious, and a tree to try and diffuse how much thick woe was getting ready to build up.
It was really bad.
Yet why did she feel so guilty for being kissed by another guy when her common insistence should have been to correct Nuk on the 'Not your girlfriend' front.

Glowing amber eyes watched the incubus' every move as he made to recover, the skinwalker's body still tense and ready for the fight he was almost willing to happen. The flash of rage which had seized him had not completely dissipated, coming in short waves easily identified by the way his fists tightened, the way the muscles in his shoulders rippled with angered restraint. He was barely aware of the small group of onlookers watching to see if it evolved into a full-blown fight, their presences irrelevant at the moment -- he didn't care if they watched or not, as long as they didn't try to stop him. When it became obvious there wasn't going to be a retaliation, he merely straightened further, puffing out his chest a little and tilting his chin up slightly, staring down at Altair with a very animalistic show of threat and challenge. When it came to the stereotype of wild, savage monsters, Nuk lived up to the expectation.
The dangerously fluid movements in the corner of his eye and the distinct pressure of the mindflayer's voice in his head was the first thing that brought him back to reality, his eyes shifting momentarily to where she stood. For half a second he paused, and it was clear he was seriously considering Riley's offer, looking as tempted as a klepto in calculator factory. "No," he rumbled back, his voice betraying his genuine enthusiasm for the idea, "We'll do twice as much damage if we both hit him."
Turning his attention back towards Altair, he watched with a slightly less interested but no less smoldering gaze, following him with his eyes as he got to his feet. The sight of blood sparked a flash of his eyes, but other than that it seemed Nuk's rage had slowed to a simmer, his demeanor far less tense as the situation began to defuse. Ignoring the spark of electric tension between them, the skinwalker rolled his shoulders as well, looking as though he might blatantly walk away from the situation, his body already starting to turn dismissively as he heard Altair purr at him, his eyes lingering on the demon as he rubbed his slightly-bloodied knuckle.
"Pray you're not wrong."
His eyes flickered to Shehk for the first time since he had appeared, lingering on her as well, unreadable.

Nuk was clever, even when drunk with rage. Riley gently let go of Shehk's arm, and moved to stand beside him as a comrade at arms. As you wish, she murmured, though that thought was equally shared with the group. Her fingers intertwined, and she stretched the long digits out, emitting a vicious popping sound. Her glowing eyes fell on Altair, with one eyebrow cocked slightly upward curiously. She wasn't aware of whether Nuk was fully prepared to fight the demon or not - but SHE was prepared to stand by his side and do a fair amount of damage. Her fluid composure attested to her readyness for a fight.
Was this really about Shuhkpana for her anymore? It was unclear. Maybe she was just looking for a good outlet of energy. Or, more likely, standing at Nuk's side meant further solidifying their alliance. Her eyelids dropped, half-lidded as they stared Altair down. Yes, it was definitely that.

Behind a few branches, where you didn't normally look, a tiny ball of winged yellow light watched the scene unfold. It's job was to watch and relay messages. Remind people of events, of chores. It also was a useful tool in gathering juicy gossip tidbits of the relationships of Amityville. So when Shehk and Altair kissed a tiny bell like alarm went up from the ball of light. The bell like alarm got even louder as it zipped down from it's hiding spot, a blue winged ball of light also ringing in alarm following close behind. As the yellow ball of light flew towards the monster dorms, the blue ball of light paused in the group. "HEY! LISTEN!" It's voice was really annoying. It was a haunting memory, and it was- "HEY! LISTEN! HEY! HEY!" It was going to do it's job until it's owner could show up to get it to shut up. Which no doubt, would be soon enough. Thankfully it seemed more intent to annoy the various pets then the owners, bell like rings filling the air and it dashed to and from the tiny beasts.

Cam was instantly entranced by pretty blinking lights. They were glowing and flying around and looked so edible - come down and play, little lights, Cam just wants to know what you taste like!!
He bounded over to stand just underneath the little floating thing that kept screeching at the group, and he jumped in the air several times with tiny hands outstretched to try and get it. Alas, it was far too high in the air for this, so Cam stretched out his little wings, and attempted to flutter them fast enough for flight.
He got a total of two inches, before they crumpled underneath him and he toppled to the ground.
Even while plastered on the ground one little hand kept reaching up at the floating light, as if it would somehow come to him instead.

Altair sneered at Nuk's dismissal, his eyes flashing with anger as the skinwalker's attitude pricked at the demon's pride. He tensed again, fists clenched, stepping forward just as Riley moved to join Nuk. Pausing, he eyed her, raising an eyebrow. He gritted his teeth, shifting his gaze between the pair of them, knowing when he was outmatched. Although it stung, it had come time to fold, and the incubus jerked up his chin a little.
"Two on one is hardly fair. Too bad you can't fight your own battles, skinwalker," he managed a smirk, shrugging after a moment and smoothing out his collar, following Nuk's gaze to Shekh. An idea struck him, and he smirked wider, starting to open his mouth, but the sudden and noisy appearance of the winged balls of light made the demon recoil in surprise. Aquila immediately began to bark, lunging to the end of his leash to get at the loud shiny moving thing, leading Altair to dig in his heels, hauling the Chimaera back into obedience and covering his own ears, glaring at the annoying thing.

Israfel was dashing out. He'd learned when a Haunting Memory wanted them to follow, you better, or you'd never be rid of them. What he could see was a few of his favorite people in the distance and- OH HO HO Nuk and Riley being protective over Shehk? What had transpired? He was curious to the juice details. The twin Never Melts whined by his side, curious to what had gotten their master's attention. But it was the yellow Haunting memory that flew back into the fray, zipping around the head of the chimera, while it's blue twin got dangerously close to the fallen demonic minipet.

Tess was frozen in midair. Well, not literally frozen. Her wings continued to flap silently to keep her aloft but the scene that was unfolding before her had the manananggal stunned into silence. Part of her was downright scandalized by the fight (and it was a large part of her, thanks mostly to a strict upbringing) because this was not something proper creatures did and in situations like these she would just quietly leave. But another part of her (small but very insistent, borne from the freedom and independence of being away from her parents) kept her figuratively rooted to the spot, wanting to know what happens next.
Her grip on the leash wound around the purple tentacle never going slack. When things began to heat up even more, the winged vampire slowly drifted towards Sammy (even if she was still slightly wary of the zombie who had smashed a guitar against her jaw) as if seeking someone to hide behind. All the while a very uneasy look was plastered on her face.
