"Well yes, yes, of course I am." How much longer could he go on without admitting that he had no clue what the plan was? Then again, there might not be a plan at all, which would explain why she hadn't yet gotten frustrated with him. Or maybe... she could just be like that. He kind of hoped that was the case. He hadn't ever met a mare who was so.... she complemented him, and he was dreading the day they'd go their separate ways. He wouldn't make her put up with him forever. But... for as long as she was willing....

His mouth almost sputtered. His mind certainly did. "You...forgot the plan? he asked, his voice cracking at some point. She was the only one who *knew* the plan!
