nikki_is_me I don't know why that woman gives me the creeps.D finally takes her gaze off the woman when Kris enters, though she raises an eyebrow and gives a look of genuine confusion about Maroon 5.Why would anyone want to buy five tickets to be marooned somewhere? She walks over and eases onto one of the bar stools well away from where the woman had been sitting before, sitting with her back to the bar. She leans against it and crosses her legs, all of her movements graceful and fluid.
I must remember to ask Kris to let me into that office again... maybe even the room for the assistant manager as well.((Violet is thoughts and I edited a little)) Heh, sorry D, a little earth humor there. Maroon5 is a musical group from Earth. I made that joke because when they did concerts on earth, the lines were always very long to get tickets and within a few hours of offering tickets, they were usually sold out. Just a little concert humor, heh. He glances over at the new woman, noticing that she had chosen not to speak yet.All joking aside ma'am. I want to welcome you to the DarkSeas. Can I help you?

Sparks gets a better look at the funny girl a lil closer and notices her large scar. It intrigued her, but soon her attention was to the stairs as the girl mentioned the owner. Without realizing it, she removes her arm from her tote and takes off her sunglasses. She noticed a man with odd colored hair and nodded. From even the purple haired man's distance, you could see Sparks' big yellow eyes.
Ah, another person with weird hair. I am glad to feel not alone in that department.
Sparks let out a slight giggle but quickly sucked it back in with a quick glance to the woman. Sparks stayed quiet after that and slipped her hand back in her bag, sunglasses and all. As the man approached, Sparks heard his words, but remained silent not answering the person's question. She just stood there and watched as the woman obviously didn't get the man's joke. She fought the urge to roll her eyes and watched as the woman the proceeded to the bar. She then realized the man addressed her again and she slowly turned her attention towards him.
Oh! Sorry, I was lost in thought!
As she spoke, she made her way to the man and held out her left hand for a shake.
The name's Sparks. Can you help me? I sure hope so.
Her voice was sweet and simple.
I suppose I need a room. And uh, what's your name if I may ask?

D casts her gaze back over to the other woman when she giggles, wondering what is going through her mind.
It isn't my fault I haven't been to Earth and don't know the customs. How rude to laugh at ignorance that can't be helped.
She lets her gaze go back over to Kris, and angles herself so that she can keep an eye on the woman without being obvious about it.
I see. I've never been to this Earth you speak of. Is it far from here?
D watches the interaction between the two, and then directs her question at Kris during the pause in conversation.
You're getting quite a bit of business for a first day, no?
((More than likely I will not be posting until Thursday, at least. Henry is having surgery. Ya'll can message me on facebook or something if you want to know more or how everything is going. <3))

Letting these thoughts pass without much obvious illustration on his face, he slowly approaches Sparks as she approaches him. He extends his hand and accepts the offered shake with a smile.Nice to meet you Sparks. I am Kris Reed, the new owner of the DarkSeas Harbor Inn and Tavern. If it's a room you want, I have plenty open and countless amenities you won't find anywhere else. The cost is 20G per night or if you pay for a week at a time, I offer you a discounted rate of 125G per week. How many nights would you like to stay? She releases her tight grip on the man's poor crushed left hand and begins to move her right arm already in her tote to search for her wallet. She sighs in relief as she clasps her money holder and quickly retrieves it out of her bag. If you were to look at the wallet, it was black leather with gold trimming along the edges. It looked expensive and was. She found enough gold in the deep crevices of her luxiourious ((arg spelling >.>)), but warn wallet and holds out the exact amount for a week to Kris.
That should do it.

Okay, I will put you up on the second floor. Follow me! Kris chuckles to himself as he once again approaches the stairway and slips his shoes off. At this rate he might want to stay barefoot. Certainly it was a bit of an extra step to take off his shoes each time but for the quality of the floors, it was well worth it to him.
As Sparks meets up with him, he nods toward his own socked feet and then to the stairs before returning his gaze to Sparks.If you have never been here before, this is a fun little tidbit of history. You see, the original innkeep had these amazing floors put in for the entire inn area that really are amazing to the aching feet of our traveling clients. However, to truly enjoy them, you will want to be either in socks or barefoot. Various owners in the past were a bit... demanding... about the removal of at least shoes when heading upstairs but I request that you don't wear shoes mostly for your enjoyment. Again, Kris wondered how accepting of this custom that Sparks would be so he paused to give her time to decide.Once you have a room key, it will unlock the matching cabinet down here to put shoes in or you can just take them up to your room with you. As soon as you are ready, we will head on up.

Once Bertie found herself alone, she let out a deep sigh of relief. Sometimes it was so exhausting being around a new person. She constantly felt like she needed to be on guard and watch what she said. It truly was difficult at times. But now that she was alone, she could simply go about her business in peace. Moving towards the bed, she ran her hand along the covers and imagined how it would be to sleep here. She didn't mind sleeping outside at all, in fact she almost preferred it, but it would be a nice change to sleep in a comfortable bed. Turning away from the bed, she decided she would like to take a bath. She didn't want to seem dirty to the people here, and she probably did considering the fact that she had been outside for so long.
Entering the bathroom area, Bertie turned on the water to get it warmed up to a nice temperature. Putting her hand under the running water, she waited until it felt right, adjusting the knobs when needed, and then she let the tub fill up. While she waited, she undressed carefully, placing her clothes on the counter to be warn again. She didn't feel the need to wear something different, she didn't think her clothes looked bad enough to wash yet. Just to be sure though, Bertie did bring the fabric close to her face to smell. Smiling, she found that they simply smelled of grass. Nothing wrong with that.
Once the water reached a high enough level to have a nice bath, Bertie turned the water off and slipped into the tub slowly. It was a wonderful feeling to be surrounded by the warm water. She closed her eyes and relaxed.

Sparks As Sparks followed without a thought in her head, she slips off her shoes imitating the purple haired man and waits to follow him. She really didn't hear a word the guy said. As long as it makes sense, I am not going to complain. )) Kris nods happily as Sparks follows his request, this brought him some relief.
As you begin climbing the stairs, you can't help but decide that not wearing shoes was a great idea. The floors instantly feel extremely soft against your feet as though you are walking on clouds, if you were weary before, the feeling begins to pass very quickly.Okay then... I will go ahead and put you in room 202, it is the first room on the right here. It's close to the stairs and not far from laundry. Right this way! Kris leads you up the stairs and to the right, opening the first room you can come to on this side with the numbers 2-0-2 inscribed on the door. Kris unlocks the door and hands you the key. You will notice the sweet smell of a clean place and find the floor in the room itself is even more amazing than that of the floor in the hallway and you feel almost weightless against the carpet and will feel your whole body relax as you enter.
Within this room, you find a room that is designed with amazing comfort and style as the primary objectives. The floor in this room can only be compared to walking on a perfect cloud. Pain fades from your body and a sense of tranquility overtakes you.  The bed is raised a bit higher off the ground than the rest of the room and laying on it feels even softer than feet on the carpet. The whole bed almost seems to envelope the one in it with comfort that is almost unnatural. Outside the window is a stunning view of the beautiful forested lands around the inn. The sitting area is designed for comfort and to help one enjoy the amazing views of the area.  Through a door leading off to the side, you will find an amazing Japanese inspired bathroom with 10' soaking tub and shower bucket. By sharing the window wall with the main room, each bathroom provides the same amazing view of the breathtaking land around the inn. The water seems to run at the perfect temperature with a twist of each knob and along the edge of the bath, a visitor can find a heating mechanism that, when activated can turn the bathtub into a hot tub with little effort. All the hardware from sink to tub to toilet seems to be a perfect fit to the room.
Kris waits for you to take in the room before he makes any comments at all. Only after he's certain you have had a moment to take it in does he speak.Here you are Sparks... is everything to your liking?

D suddenly finds herself alone in the room after watching the two go up the stairs. She sighs deeply and looks around the room.
I wonder if this was a mistake coming here... too many memories, too much too fast.
