"My lady!" A pale, translucent figure whirled down from the skies, landing daintily on the ground before Princess Kaguya. The snow dancer dipped into a courtsey as she paid her respects to her leader. "I apologise most sincerely for my arrival! Please, allow me to aid thee!"

The dancer twirled, calling upon her magics to heal her princess.

Ainsley could only tilt her head at Senri when he told her not to be tricked. What did he mean? What would she be tricked by? The small child did not understand at all. She could only squeeze tightly onto Octavian Oswald as she thought about this and look at Senri with her big, teary eyes, staring at him like he were dying. But wasn't that the case? He had a small cut he could bleed to death! So of course when Senri had told her not to worry, her worry went up about ten fold. She shook her head and protested immediately. He was cut! How could he say he was okay?

He didn't give her much of a choice though, immediately trying to make her leave. Before she could even open a word to protest he basically threw his jacket over her. She felt like she was drown in cloth as it covered her head! Where was the exit? She tried to think calmly, squirming around so all that people could see was a white bunny plush flailing in the air.

"Ah!" She gasped as she finally got the jacket off of her head, allowing it to fall around her shoulders. It was really big on the small child and she found herself looking around for Senri. And looking. And looking. Senri was no where to be found. It figured. How do you lose Ainsley? You put a jacket over her head and like a magic trick, you disappear. Of course, Ainsley got it backwards. If it was a magic trick then she should have disappeared when it covered her.

The small child was far too curious to leave as Senri had suggested though. Plus, she had to make sure he was okay! She squeezed Octavian Oswald rather tightly as she thought about the possible outcomes of the situation. He had hurt himself protecting her and then disappeared! It was this princess' fault.

"Princess," she mumbled. This woman was no princess. A princess was supposed to be not only beautiful on the outside but beautiful on the inside too and while she may be beautiful on the outside this ice princess was not beautiful on the inside. She was not at all like the ice dancers Ainsley had befriended. The ice dancers who had addressed her so kindly.

She was thinking so much about it, and soon she found herself moving closer to the ice princess. She was mumbling something under her breath about princesses, hugging her prince Octavian Oswald to her neck. She stopped though, and moved the white plush to her ear. What had he said? Ainsley blushed and gave the bunny plush a small bop on the head before holding the plushie up so he could see the "princess". After a moment though, the small child lowered the plushie and spoke.

"Princess... princesses are beautiful. You are not beautiful..." was all she managed to say as she stared up at the ice princess with her ice blue eyes. She did not agree. She did not agree with this creature giving princesses a bad name. This ice fiend was nothing like her! She should be ashamed to call herself a princess!

Frustrated and upset that not only was the princess not listening or even paying attention to the small child but she wanted to hurt so many people. The small child just couldn't stand by anymore, the ice princess wouldn't even listen to her trying to reason with her. Eventually she found herself holding a rock that had broken off from the concrete and held it in her hands. Why wouldn't anyone listen to her? Without thinking, she threw the rock at the ice princess. Immediately she yelped out a sorry, before crying out, "You're not a princess! Your heart is not warm enough to be a princess! Don't give us a bad name!"

Rose had been sleeping, a new hobby she had acquired once the weather grew cold. Her mother had awakened her, jabbering on about snow. Rose didn’t really care about snow, but something had told her to wake up. Once her brain was finally functioning, she finally remembered that today was the today the snow globe lady was supposed to appear.

Pomona arrived on the scene in time to see some icy imposter shooting hail at those that had gathered to meet her. For some reason, she was not surprised that she’d have to fight some ice b***h on Christmas; it seemed par the norm, actually.

Making her way forward slowly – running in heels was rarely a good idea, she had learned – Pomona got as close to the Her Royal Frigidness as she dared before attacking her.

“ Pomona Pepper Poppers!”

Throwing the magical fruits, Pomona hoped that peppers would have an effect on the ice alien.

Fiona had difficultly getting to the place that voice was telling her, especially with all five of her snow globes in her arms. It didn't help that her brother had fought with her just outside of the door in a desperate attempt to keep her at home. He was still worried about her mental state after her hospitalization a couple of weeks back. Still she had prevailed and there she was waiting with a bated breath for what she hoped would be her princess.

Then when the icy demon arose she found herself filled with anger. How could she have been so stupid? Her princess wasn't coming, she'd never come and she had been a fool to even think it was a possibility. The ache inside of her chest that sought out the moon princess had all but vanished yet she had convinced herself that it wasn't over.

The redhead shook her head bitterly as she disappeared from the crowd, powered up and stormed forward. "Whoever the hell you are, you're far too ugly to be any princess of mine," she shouted running forward pulling her fist back as she said, "Flight of the Dragonflies!" Her speed increased as she put everything she had into attacking the stupid 'princess'

Distracted by the commotion..

"Wait, stop!" Val screamed, as the car swerved onto the icy roads. The car threatened to topple dangerously over the sidewalk as both the driver and passenger were thrown to the windows. Pulling on the brakes, the both of them were able to avoid being crushed completely. With an angry frown, the man turned to face Varete with an explosive shout.

"Damn it, Varete. What are you thinking?" He yelled, his words barely audible over the wind. "In this weather, You'd have to be insane to-"

"I'm sorry Derek, but there's something I absolutely have to do."

With an apologetic smile, she made her way over to the fountain. She had transformed along the way-- as others already did. Among the crowd, she recognized both the senshi and negaverse. The only difference was..The both sides weren't fighting against each-other but together. Surprising..

.. and somewhat creepy.

"So guys, where did the giant snowma- I mean snow-woman come from? Early Christmas gift from Santa, huh?"

It was only a matter of moments before people- senshi and Negaverse alike, Tara was interested to note, not to mention normal humans- began to fight the false princess. Using a combination of magic, weaponry, and nearby objects, they pelted her with everything they had. It would have been downright heartwarming if they weren't busy fighting a creepy evil alien invader bent on turning them all into her personal museum. So much for Christmas specials.

The other problem, aside from the imminent doom, was the fact that everyone was crowding around the enemy. If Tara threw her bucket at the ice queen, she'd more likely hit some kid in the back of the head. This was when being able to transform would have come in handy, but she tried not to think about that. She was on vacation. And if someone decided to wreck it, she'd fight back as Tara Kavanaugh, not as Sailor Aquarius.

In Tara's mind, this made sense, though she'd never be able to explain to anyone else.

Keeping one hand on her bucket, she followed the human crowd, grabbing a rock from a nearby planter and hurling it at the enemy as best she could.

The hail caught Sophie by surprise again. One particularly sharp chunk sliced right through her winter coat, which began spilling down from the sleeve. Sophie covered the hole with her hand, wincing as if she'd been wounded again. "What is this, then?" she asked, exasperated. "If it's not a stunt or something... I mean, what's the point?"

Unless the supposed princess really did want to turn them into statues. But that wasn't possible... was it?

"So this is what it comes down ta... huh?"

Sailor Iris hadn't been there the whole time. However, when a certain cat comes running to your house during family time and is scratching at the door like a maniac, you have to somewhat pay attention to the annoyance. Even with arriving late to the party, the senshi jumped into the fray and was immediately pelted with cold chunks of ice.

In her hands, she clutched onto the boomerang she had been using for training. "The cat's gonna kill me..." Bracing her body against all of the ice, the eternal senshi did something a bit different from her usual. Rather than use a magical attack, she instead foolishly threw that yellow boomerang into the action, aiming for the Icy "Princess." She was a bit better thanks to the practice on her asteroid, but far from perfect...

The voice, always the same voice, had called to Chromite over the tinkling of the snow globe's melody and it had torn her apart. The thought of owing allegiance to anyone but Beryl. To her Majesty... But still- The compulsion was there. Though she fought it. It was a vast understatement to say that it had taken the small woman a long while to find and put on the clothing necessary to brave the bitter cold.

It had taken her even longer then to bundle the globes up so that they wouldn't break, for though she was loathe to admit it, the thought of losing one of her precious prizes to an accident filled her with overwhelming sorrow and worry. A fact that tended to set off another bout of screaming and crying.

So here she was- An hour, and half of that tears, later. Chromite, not knowing just what to expect, had chosen to ignore all of the winter gear she'd taken so long wrapping herself up in and powered up. It was the quickest way there, and also managed to soothe Chromite's fear that she was being disloyal. Bounding and diving over and off of buildings to get there her eyes widened in shear disbelief as she hit the Town Center. "What. The. Gingerbread?" Without a second thought, something she would wonder about later, she dropped her bag to the rooftop and continued to stare at the scene below her.

It took her awhile(another gross understatement) to work out that the center of the commotion had been the source of the snowglobe's voice the whole time. That this ice-looking wench in a crown was the entire reason Chromite had been going slowly insane and doubting her love for the true Queen of her planet. With deep magenta eyes narrowing to mere slits she didn't even offer out a warning or insult like she was prone to doing. Instead the 5'1" bundle of anger and hate screamed something bloodthirsty and primal and launched herself at the monster and her ice minions with hands hooked into what could only be described as harpy claws.

Andeon should not have waited until Christmas Eve to do his shopping. However, some things were just more important than Christmas shopping, and among them was:

Sleeping.

Drinking.

Sex with Mackenzie.

Playing Mortal Kombat with Mackenzie.

Throwing his controller at the screen when Mackenzie won.

Wallpapering the living room in Justin Bieber posters while Mackenzie was at work in retaliation.

Replacing all of the DVDs with ripped copies of Twilight: Eclipse.

Writing Serenade a new haiku every day.

And, of course, continuing to unsuccessfully train Snuzzles to fetch him a beer.

So as Andeon stared at the goings on, powered down and sipping from a bottle that now contained more whiskey than coke, he briefly wondered if he should drop the armful of last-minut presents, henshin up, and lend a hand.

Inside of his coat, Snuzzles let out a little scree and clung tighter to Andeon's chest. The boy hooked a finger in the collar of the thick winter coat and pulled it out just far enough to peer down at the tiny, frightened youma. Snuzzles was tucked away, only the small felt antlers that Andeon had glued to his head sticking out the neck of his jacket. Whatever that thing was, the worlds most harmless little youma did not seem eager to fight it. He let out another little screech, and Andeon took another sip of booze.

“Don't be such a scuttlebug,” Andeon said with a smile, wrapping his arms around himself to hug the little youma close, “Looks like they've got a handle on things. Let's go home, we'll make hot chocolate.”

Snuzzles squeaked again.

“What? No you can't have my marshmallows. What the hell is wrong with you? Marshmallows are like ******** gold this time of year, man.”

And so half of the Gemini duo wandered away from the square and home through the raging blizzard, bickering with his little buddy about the price of marshmallows in China and leaving the brave warriors of Destiny City to save the day.

It seemed that Sydney had a habit of being late to the party. The voice in the snow globes had told her to bring them to the town square. She was totally planning on it! Totally, except her father insisted that she stay for a little family bonding. It made sense, but something told her that she had to be the town square. She had attempted to tell her father that she needed to urgently leave, but he wouldn’t have it. Hence she had to sneak out of the house snow globe-less. Hopefully the mysterious voice wouldn’t be too ticked.

She wasn’t sure what to expect, but she certainly wasn’t expect a full out fight against a snow woman. The redhead pouted as she darted into an alley to henshin up. This had happened at the Masquerade as well! Did she have the worst luck or what?

Reluctantly Sinon strolled out of the alley and joined the brawl. God, she must be a master at joining fights midway by now! “Better late than never, right?!” she shouted hopefully. “Sinon White Lies!” Yeah, being late really sucked.

xxxxxGwenliana had just been twirling on the ice covered lake when she heard it. At first it seemed so faint, that she thought it was a trick of the wind, nothing more than a whisper at her shoulder. But suddenly it boomed within every fiber of her body. "To my side, my beautiful, perfect, dancers!" It rang through her soul, it pumped blood through it, it was her. Gwenliana's body snapped as if to attention and almost immediately she found herself gliding towards the town's center square. Though Gwenliana didn't know why, she was urgently surging through town, skating over streets in less than a second. Her legs were pulsing, her flurries were blowing, and she was leaving quite a wake in her path.

xxxxxYes, behind Gwenliana suffered as much as her front did. Because of her speed and power, Giant patches of ice were left were left where her feet touched down. No long did small twinkles of flurries dance off her hands and dress, because now torrents of miniature blizzards gusted off. Cars were covered, tree branches were decorated and the streets were positively coated. Where this newfound power came from was anyone's guess. If it had been normal circumstances, she would have stopped to puzzle through this, and perhaps test a few dance moves. Unfortunately, this was not the case. All she could think was "come to my side" over and over, pulsating and pulsating.

xxxxxAnd finally, the town center opened up beneath her. There were hoards of people crowded into the center, negaverse and senshi alike. Civilians and snow dancers. Everyone had come for this final moment. But Gwenliana couldn't see any of it. She didn't even try. All she saw was her princess' glorious throne, sparkling and dazzling. Though there was turbulent wind and a fervid snowstorm going on, Gwenliana felt none of it. All she could feel was the presence of her princess, and her willingness to fight. She leapt through the air, pivoting and twisting until she was a few feet from the throne. Gwenliana didn't even need asking, she simply shouted, "Princess! Please accept my dearest offering." With a twirl of her arm, snow flurries were flung everywhere, and hopefully landed near her princess, in order to heal her. Please, Gwenliana thought. This was her princess and she would fight.

Castille gaped at the queen, speechless. -Who was she?!- Was she another one of those super people rolling around the city!?

Well this one was obviously bad. She twirled her fingers, and hail began to rain down upon the crowd. Castille yelled, running between giant balls of ice falling from the sky and gouging the earth. She gasped in pain as a ball hit her shoulder, and she ducked under the giant Christmas tree in the Town Square, which was taking a serious beating from the hailstorm.

Castille was gasping for breath, and then got angry. She was ruining Christmas! She fumbled around, finding a large branch, and ran back out into the hailrstorm, shouting "What is wrong with you!?" before hurling the branch at the ice queen.

Late to the party was a weak descriptor for Sailor Gunn, who was absolutely pissed off that this had happened and her only hint had been the overwhelming chanting of the snowglobes when she'd finally gotten home from Blood Moon practice that day. Wasn't this supposed to be Intelligence's purview? They should have been informed, damn it!

But luckily, she'd heard something about it--breaking news, or some such--and now, now she was here to help. Fire would be extra effective, wouldn't it?

...Hopefully. Probably. It was an ice princess.

With her luck, though... probably not. Whatever--she dashed forward, past Negaverse and senshi alike, to plant one foot on the rim of the fountain and leap. Did uppercuts do anything to questionable ice bitches?

Tate didn't even get it. What was going on here? Sure, there'd been those weird dreams but she was pretty sure the figure she'd seen wasn't this creature. Apparently, though, it'd been the one speaking.

Goddamn, she thought. Destiny City just... ugh, she felt so betrayed by this. Something that finally promised to be good! After a piece of hail scored her face, she backed away from her snowglobes, from the fountain entirely, to take shelter out of the immediate fighting for now.

Itsuki Hara had been walking back from the coffee shop, indulging in the rather unhealthy habit he had picked up since coming to America. One of the three Eyes, the young exchange student hadn't the slightest idea of how his powers worked or why he had them in the first place. All he knew is that he kept waking up in Perry's house as a leopard, his legs all tangled in his human-sized pajamas.

For the past several moments the disgruntles asian boy had been standing there with his coffee in one hand, staring blankly at the battle unfolding before him. Now, one might have thought that a snow princess fighting a small army of senshi, negaverse, and civilians would be surprising. However, it became increasingly difficult to be surprised when he kept turning into a jungle cat and frequently had to fight off the urge to hunt and eat squirrels whenever he happened to see them running around the city.

“This country,” the boy more commonly known as Suki muttered as he took a sip of his coffee, “First Dr. Watermane feed me fat American food, then turn into p***y,” No, he didn't understand the other meaning of that word, thank you very much, “Now fighting in city. Such fat, violent people.”

He seemed to entirely overlook that the majority of the people fighting were actually rather thin, pretty girls in short skirts. Suki grumbled as he turned on his heels and trudged away from the scene, pulling his faux fur-lined hood more tightly around his head.

“Godzirra much better than snow rady. Godzirra scary. Snow breasts not very scary.”

....HIT FOR 318 DAMAGE!

....HEALED FOR 24 HP!

In a flash, they were all on her like white on rice... or, some could say, white on ice. A huge flurry of projectiles had been unleashed on the snow princess just as quickly as she'd scattered her hailstorm over the crowd, and a couple of unfortunately brave souls even had the guts to try and attack her directly. Tony would be rewarded for his efforts by a wave of frost rapidly snaking up his cane, forming delicate blooming patterns that went so far as to begin crawling up his fingers. Worse yet, there seemed to be very little physical evidence that she had been hit at all.

All that effort already -- and they had, literally, barely even scratched the surface of this monster.

Her abyssal gaze snapped towards Ainsley, who had been brave in her own way: speaking words of defiance that made Kaguya's eyes narrow in annoyance. "Not beautiful... not beautiful?" she parroted, a sneer present in her voice. "You silly, silly child. Clearly, you don't understand the meaning of the word. You're just incapable of appreciating true beauty!" The sinister smirk returned and the ground cracked under everyone's feet, unleashing a wave of fresh icicles.
