Mika laughed when she said she found a weak spot in his armor, "Ill have you know that this armor's weak spot is Never in the same place!" he said as he used all of the reiatsu that he released and gathered it, strengthening his armor ten fold.Mika then awaited Rosa's next move as he seen her burst into light, 'Ah, this must be her release!' he thought to himself.

  Why must there be death? Akane Ruka Dos Fantasma Captain of Squad 9 Angel and Phoenix Akane raised her head slightly when Kilk came but didn't allow herself to make a sound. Her hood still hid her face from view, and she knew well enough that he would still recognize her, but nobody else here knew what she looked like just yet. "..."
When Rai grabbed her and ran she caught on quickly and dashed for the warehouse. She cast one last look at Rosa before her body flickered and the Dos Fantasma and her Diablo disappeared.
Ruka blinked at the turn of events but for now did nothing. Everyone was in their own respective battle, and she'd only step in if it was necessary. Carefully she noted that the Primera had released and moved a little further away from the fight. It irked her that she couldn't help somehow, but for now she waited for some kind of opening to battle. Why must there be pain?

La Cuatra Fantasma
A Garganta opened, and Aika stepped out, eyes closed, placing her feet lightly on the ground before letting the Garganta close behind her. She could feel several traces of reiatsu, and knew almost immdiately that Haru and Rosa were locked in battle with strong fighters. She could also sense another presence, which felt strong, like a captain's reiatsu. She had recieved her orders, and she was ready to obey. Leaping up into the air, and solidifying her reiatsu, she made her way over to Ruka, and landed on the roof top gently. She wasted no time as she ran her hand over her necklace, softly calling out the name of her weapon. "Noche De Lluvia." In a flash, her flute was now in her hands, and she pointed the sharpened tip at the female Captain before leaping up and preparing to drive her "blade" into Ruka's skin.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka sighed as she sat down on the rooftop again and watched. She was worried, but bored...
"Hm?" she looked up as a Garganta formed and watched the woman who emerged with curiosity. Obviously Hellfire because of the white skin. Her eyes stayed close the whole way on her walk to the rooftops and the brunette tilted her head silently as she observed. She left Suzaku sheathed at her side and instead leaned back on her hands. When the woman attacked she threw her weight back immediately and narrowly flipped away from the attack. She landed and watched as some of her hair fell to the floor in a neat cut. "Not bad." she still didn't draw Suzaku, only resting her hand on the hilt.
"My name is Ruka Kusabana. And you?" she asked politely. It would be nice to know the name of the person she was supposed to fight. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

Aika raised her head upon hearing the girl speak. She could tell she had made a cut, yet she knew she hadn't broken skin. Turning her body toward the Captain, she tilted her head, before smiling slightly. "My name is Aika Asami, La Cuatra Fantasma." she said softly. "You seem very powerful, Ruka...are you by chance a captain?" She had rested her flute at the side of her leg, but didn't let her guard down as she awaited an answer from the girl.

"You messin' with a Shiba?"  
Raine panted as he ran along the narrow hallways of the streets. He could hear the blades of battle clashing and powers releasing... Reiatsus spiked and the energy was flowing in large amounts throughout the air. Raine allowed his green reiatsu to flow freely, flowing with the air and wind and dancing around his body like a thin flame... He was leading a squad of six members of the 9th Division, three on either side of him as they charged down the hallways...
Raine reached a corner, and in the distance could make out his Captain fighting what appeared to be another young lady. He turned around and gave a stern and commanding stare to his squad members. "You three," he began, pointing to the three on his right. "Fuku-taicho!" they responded, adressing him. " I need you to get more reinforcements, head back to the barracks and create an outline around the area, I need one of you to inform any other Captains or Lieutenants of the situation..." In an instant, they shunpoed away, leaving mere blurs of where they had once been.
Raine turned to the other three... "You three..." his finger was pointed straight to them. "Fuku-taicho!" They responded, mimicking the other three squad 9 members. "I need you to do a full report on any records of battle you see here... we need stories and we need details. This is Squad 9. Get moving!"
"Hai!" The other three squad members responded as they scurried off in thier seperate directions. Raine then turned and shunpoed onto a wall nearby, watching his Captain's actions closely and ensuring other battles were leaning towards a Win, rather than a Loss. He was available to fight, ready for battle, anyone who aimed to strike him would receive a surprise they would least expect...
"You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...
Bringing the light...
The Shiba boy...
Puts up a hell of a fight!
Behind his smile, lies a beast...
Think he'll ever give up?
Not in the least!

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka nodded "A pleasure to meet you, Aika." she tilted her head at the question before nodding "Yes. Captain of Squad 9. I hope you won't think me rude for asking but... are you blind?" She didn't really care about how forward she was being, but she didn't want to be rude and so she quickly added "I won't think any less of you for it if you are. One of the Captains that came before me was also blind but could fight as well as any other if not more so." she smiled.
In the back of her mind she noted the sense of Rei's reiatsu and that of several Squad members running about. She hoped they would be careful, the last thing they needed was more deaths. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

Aika smiled, pleased that she had guessed correctly. "Equally a pleasure, Ruka-taicho." She tilted her head slightly as she listened to Ruka's question. "Yes, I am blind." she said, but there was no hurt in her voice. She thought back through the history of Hellfire, Arrancar, and Hollows, trying to think of a blind Captain, the idea seeming vaguely familiar. "Ah, Tōsen-taicho, yes?" she asked. She had heard of him, though only briefly, for the Hellfire rarely talked about the past. She was in a rather relaxed state, enjoying the fact that Ruka seemed to like peace rather then battle. 'Hichigo-sama's orders were only to gather information on the Captains. He did not specifically say we had to fight them...' she thought. "Now I have a question for you, Ruka-taicho. Of course, if you do not want to answer, you do not have to. What is the ability of your zanpakuto?"
She could still feel the reiatsu of Haru and Rosa, but she hadn't felt the other's energy for a while. A feeling of anxiety settled in the pit of her stomach, as she worried about her comrades. Regardless, she pushed her emotions down, focusing once again on the Captain in front of her.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka smiled and used her reiatsu to solidify the air behind her so she could sit. Her stance was very casual but she was ready for anything. For the moment though she was enjoying a nice conversation, enough so that her itching for a fight had all but vanished. With the battle raging around them one might've though they were old friends for how casually they were taking it all. She smiled "Yes that's right." she tilted her head at the question. "It'll be a quiz then, information exchange." she smiled in an almost playful manner though the light in her eyes said otherwise. This was serious business.
"Though instead of a direct answer will it be alright if I give you a riddle? Or rather, an old poem..." she closed her eyes ""Now Just so after death, through the lord’s might, souls together with body will journey- handsomely adorner, just like the bird, with noble perfumes-into abundant joys where the sun, steadfastly true, glistens radiant above the multitudes in heavenly city." she recited steadily from memory. She opened her eyes and awaited an answer a smile playing across her lips. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

Aika laughed slightly at the comment, but there was a cooler tone behind the laugh that did not make it sound completely light-hearted. Upon hearing the riddle, she began to think back, smiling vaguely. She liked the creativity of this Captain. There was no library in Hueco Mundo, but on the days when she was not serving Hollow Ichigo, she roamed around Karakura Town. Not that she could have read a book anyway, but she had listened to poetry before, and the piece Ruka was describing sounded familiar. 'Just after death...like a bird...glistens radiantly above...' she though as she pondered the riddle. And just like that the answer hit her. "The poem you are describing is The Phoenix," she said, smiling. "I am going to assume then that your attacks have to do with either fire or ash."

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka smiled at the girl "Correct." If only this war wasn't going on and everyone didn't have to fight. They might've become friends...
She quickly shook off the notion and pushed it to the back of her mind. There was no use longing for what could have been, but still the question remained as others often did after being brought to life by her curiosity. She mentally sighed and filed the question away with the others. "Now then my turn... Your flute. Your extraordinary hearing. I suppose it would be foolish not to assume it would be sound." she smiled. "And so my question... how did you come to serve Hollow Ichigo?" the conversation had taken a turn, but she hoped it would remain easy-going. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart! ((Isn't it? I wish the actual author was known~. =D ))

Aika grinned, before getting ready to answer Ruka's question. "I am afraid I am not as clever and subtle as you, Ruka-taicho." she said. "You are correct, my flute is my weapon, and I do utilize sound." She tilted her head slightly at the Captain's next question. "Hichigo-sama?" she asked. She took no offense to the question at all. "I've been blind for as long as I can remember..." she started.
"I used to live in the Rukon District, here in Soul Society. I used to wander off alone a lot though...and one day I was killed by a Hollow." she smiled sadly. "I found myself in a very sandy area that I later learned was Hueco Mundo, and I was attacked countless times by Hollows before I finally taught myself to fight to the point that I was able to survive on my own for a while. Hichigo-sama found me soon after that, and had rescued me from a Hollow that had beat me, and I became La Cuatra Fantasma. That is why I serve Hollow Ichigo-sama." She then sighed gently, before speaking to Ruka once again.
"How long have you been a captain, Ruka?" she asked, curious to know about the girls past, and rather enjoying the conversation between them.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka blinked once in surprise. Rukon? She didn't remember seeing the woman anywhere around there. Just how far apart where they in age? Had she not known about Yasushi? Or had she been born in another District She shook off those questions as she listened intently. At the mention of dying of a hollow her eyes softened slightly. That wasn't fair. What a cheap and cruel twist of fate for something like that to happen. Unfortunately shinigami couldn't protect everyone...
She nodded as she reached the end of her tale, it was easier to understand now. "Myself? Oh I don't know... since Tosen left I think? I had taken my Exams and they'd been wondering where to place me. Then the betrayal occurred and I was placed in the very same Squad I had been serving under for several years." she gave a wry smile "Not long after I met my Lieutenant, Raine. He's a good friend if something of a prankster." she knew he could hear that last comment. "Other than that there's not much to say other than the fact that I too grew up in Rukongai. I'm surprised I didn't see you there...." she let the unspoken question hang in the air between them. This was an interesting conversation alright, information filled but still enjoyable, like old friends. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!
