He had to admit that Gabrian had a rather good point, but he was pleased that the other wasn't like other demons he knew. Those without manners tended to rub him the wrong way. Intensely. "Point taken. It does sound like a fair way to be." He didn't understand the whole friend thing, considering he didn't have any (yet), but it sounded like a logical way of thinking to him. "He is correct. Pride, right now, won't get anyone far while we're here. We can't use any of our abilities or can everyone control their forms... until we get out of here, we have to lean on others." For him, that wasn't so much of a problem; but it could for others.
But his attention returned back to Iolanthe, his face showing his concern when she said that her arm could be broken. It was on the tip of his tongue to say anything but Braum had appeared and lifted her up quickly. A brow shifted at that before he stood up himself and dusted off snow from his knees. It pleased him to see that the other boil was doing his best to be the leader, so he just followed afterwards. The new person caused him to look over towards her curiously but he bowed before her as well before he shifted the thicker white locks of hair to cover the back of his neck. It made it easier to keep a bit warm that way.
It seemed they were moving now, though another snowman appeared, making him sigh heavily and rub his temples. These things were seriously getting on his last nerve. But he looked over to where Gabe and the others spoke of the trials on the middle path. He was seriously glad that he hadn't gone that way, if what she said was true. Which it had to be, since why would he not believe her in her battled state? "We need to hurry... the more time we waste, the worse it'll get here..."

Gabrian was now officially out of his depth. These were clearly deeper waters (which he usually had no problem with physically - apparently, emotional depths were not the same though), "You're quite welcome," he finally murmured, looking torn between embarrassed, pleased, and something else entirely, "But you don't need to thank me. I've done nothing; hopefully you don't sport many injuries?" he tried to look, but uh... she was undead, and seemed to sport bandages all around her body. He had no idea just how much of it was 'normal' for her.
"I wouldn't worry," came his reply as he stood and brushed himself off with his free hand, keeping the other one pressed against his chest so Alessa could lay in the crook of his arm comfortably, "The main group knows I came here to get you. They'll wait for us," however, Rain was right, and he waisted no time in starting to walk back towards the main group, whom hadn't trekked up too far up the path.
It was only when they were almost caught up with the others that he finally turned his gaze down to Alessa, addressing her earlier words, "It never looks worse than it feels," he decided to leave it at. For now anyhow, and instead focussed his attention on Livi as he approached, "No. Pride apparently gets you hurt. And..." his gaze shifted to his sister and the ghoul Corbin was carrying, worry crossing his features, "We have enough hurt party members as it is. We've a long way to go, I gather. I only took a brief peek at the map the Headmistress had... but I believe this zone is quite a touch larger than the forest was."
In all honesty, he wasn't particularly elitist when it came to the different factions; he was different from his sister. He was happy to snap at a demon in the same way he would snap at an undead. He was also just as prone to compliment a ghost as he was a monster. He'd never had a problem in that regard, "My own form keeps shifting uncontrollably," his expression darkened a bit as Livi mentioned that, "I am going to be most displeased when I shift. I really hate the show. My form was not made to slither through snow," alas, the avarice demon was right, and thus, Gabrian walked on, his gaze following Braum, whom seemed to be the unspoken leader of their little group.
This was fine by him. He was more of a follower than a leader anyhow, and he was glad someone with intelligence seemed to have taken it upon themselves to help them through the route.
((I'm not sure everyone knows, but we're allowed to take the pills mid battle too - it will use your attack turn, but still!))

Aksaja didn't know quite what was going on back there, the lightning dragon just concentrating on reaching those cliffs for the moment. Once there, he started to scoop snow away and make a place for a few people to rest if they needed to.
However, he did turn around, eyes wide, when he heard mention of some kind of 'snow ninjas'. "The hell...?" he muttered softly, staring at Rain for a few minutes. That ... sounded really bad. And West had never shown up here, even though he'd said he was coming this way. The dragon couldn't help but wonder if the demon had snuck off for the more 'exciting' sounding path.
He shuddered slightly, as he had thought about doing the same... but decided against it. It seemed that he'd narrowly escaped whatever fate had befallen those who tried the shortest but most dangerous path.

Chobi_Chocobo Harperking Igneous trudged her way up the icy path, carrying her tent bundle. So far she hadn't seen any others though there had been signs of their passing. She hoped that the others from her car would be ok on the paths they took - perhaps they would meet again once they made it to the end of the trails. The sound of battle ahead caused her to hurry her steps. She got in sight of the fight just in time to see the end - hopefully they weren't hurt too badly! She couldnt recognize anyone at this distance so she picked up her pace again in hopes of catching up with at least part of the group. There was saftey in numbers, right? Something flies past your head. Was that a snow bullet? "Missed. Oh well take this you dame!" Another snow bullet comes flying toward this. HP: 4MissJust her luck to walk into trouble!! Iggy dodged one chunk of snow and zigged in hopes of avoiding the next. What was with everything attacking her?! "You like snow? Have some then!" she yelled at the snowbeing. With that she reached down and made a tightly compacted snowball of her own that she threw with all her might at her attacker. Unfortunately, her aim wasn't as good as her anger and she totally missed! Iggy's HP: 25 Damage done: 0

The group was lagging to him. Sure he cared about all the others but at this rate it would take them a week to cross! Eracs looked to Draven and Alerick. "Yeah! Let's keep going. I'm sure everyone else can catch up after that snow creature is taken care of!"
Did... someone just magically show up within the group? Awesome! "Um, did anyone else see that?" A few others seemed to know the girl. He nodded to his friends. "Let's keep going then!"

(Quarria's coming in from the Gromble Car. Her logic was too strong to resist. (She logic'd herself into coming here.) Quarria looks like this. (Below leads to her quest.)) Quarria pushed herself through the chilly air as she flew, and not for the first time she was happy that she was used to flying at higher altitudes. She was actually very worried at this point in time though, and not for herself. The reason why she had chosen to come up this path was because Gabrian had come up this way (Well, that wasn't the only reason, but it was part of it (See her leaving the Forest for full LOGIC).) and she was afraid he wouldn't have enough warmth. As a fellow serpent-like creature, she knew that he could die up here without something warm. Like feathers.
She flew lower, as she couldn't see much on the ground because of the flurries of snow and height. At last, she saw something that looked like a group of people. Finally she'd found some people! Maybe they would know where Gabrian was, or better yet he was with them. (She really was quite worried that he might die without her warmth.) She glided until she cruised into the snow, and then quickly began to tuck in her huge wings. The Amphithere slithered until she wasn't too far from the group, close enough that if she called loud they would hear her, but even with her Amphithere eyesight, she couldn't make out exact people's shapes. "Excuse me!" The thirty-foot long winged-serpent (Also known as the Amphithere Express, if you were from Gromble) called out, tossing her head in their direction, raising her feather crest a bit for height, so they could see her. "Excuse me, but is there a Nix named Gabrian among you?"(Gotta go, I'll respond when I get back. She's adressing everyone in that huge group, by the way. (I hope no one mistakes her for a monster, since she's kind of huge and scary. XD;;; (Well, if that happens Gabrian can explain that she's not. XD; )

((.... AWWWWW Quarria is like... Gabe's serpent buddy forever, man. FOREVER.))
Gabrian turned his head and blinked when he heard his name being called from behind; he'd been so engrossed in his own thoughts and the conversation that he hadn't seen or heard the large Amphithere approach. However, the moment he spotted her, he couldn't help but grin, "Ah, my dear Quarria... I wasn't expecting to see you here. I was most certain you would join the others down South. You are utterly insane," he shifted the rabbit in his arms, freeing one of his hands so he could easily drag it across the larger serpent's body, patting her side before withdrawing, "That makes two of us."

((Straight outta Gromble!))
Johan was starting to miss trees. There was nothing on this path but snow, snow-covered rocks, and unidentifiable snow-covered things. Just snow basically. Cold, freezing, monotonous snow. And a haphazard trail through it, that Johan hoped other Halloween students had made. The reaper was huddled as deep into the protection of his clothes as he could get, and he was extremely glad that he'd thought to strap some sturdy pine boughs to his feet. Not having thought to bring footwear, the soles of his feet were practically blue from the cold, but the broad spread of the pine needles kept them out of the snow. With his weight displaced, he was actually walking on top of the snow, following the trail at the quickest pace he could manage.
He wasn't actually sure he wanted to catch up to the other students, however. Certainly, there was safety in numbers. But risk, too. He kept looking up at the horizon, expecting to see travelers at some point. He wasn't sure whether he'd hang back or try to join them, though.

(Serpent Buddies forever! XD Quarria would like that. It wasn't just her logic that made her come up the mountain. She wanted to make sure he didn't freeze. SHE CARES, MAN. And awesome, I have enough time to post before I have to go! Woo!)
"Gabrian, there you are!" She called with a worried smile, slithering up toward her Nix friend. As he smiled, her own turned into a happier grin, even if it was still a worried one. He looked relatively okay, and he was carrying a... rabbit? She was slightly confused but figured it was another student or something. "I wasn't expecting to come this way, actually. But, the needs of many outweigh my own comfort. I would be a better asset up here then on the Island. Living/warm train-serpent and all. And," She unfurled a wing and folded it around Gabrian a bit, trying to warm him up a little. If he wanted, he could lean into the feathers, but if he didn't he could push them away. "I didn't want you to freeze up here." If serpents could blush, she probably would have at this point. But it was true. She'd convinced herself that she was needed up here so that she could come and make sure he would be okay. (And you know, not freeze. Serpents got to stick together, right?)
She smiled a little and looked around at everyone after he had patted her side (which had made her feel very happy, by the way). "In any case, The Amphithere Express is back. Want to ride? I'm sure that you'll need the warmth more up here then down in the forest, and my wing-feathers are the warmest thing I can provide, and people can sit snuggling into them if they're on my back. Plus, I do work as a pretty effective train, and the easiest way I can keep from freezing myself (cold-blooded and all, like when you're in serpent form) is to have people sit on me and share their body heat." She lowered her head so she would be at a closer eye level then before, her frill of feathers puffed happily. "And I don't quite believe we got to finish our discussion about how Nix play music, did we?" She asked with a kind smile, happy she had found her friend.
(Anyone can ask her for a ride, by the way. She was carrying half/most of the Gromble Train Car at one point in time.)

She'd watched tha tail end of the other ghoul's battle but missed anything after Braum shouted for encouragements at her. Finally succumbing to exhaustion as he eyes drifted shut once again. It was absolute heaven finally being able to catch even the tiniest of naps. Even when Braum passed her tenderly over Corbin she barely stirred, shifting only so she could press her cheek into his chest. It was the closet she came to consciousness for the better half of the next hour.
As The other winged demon dressed her wounds she remained limp and passive, moving easily under the influence of his careful aid. She probably could have gone on to sleep for a solid day and a half had nothing disturbed her, but the skelliphone in her pocket had other plans in mind. It buzzed violently against her hip, tugging at her conscious and drawing from her an unhappy little groan before a silver of vivid blue peeked out between dark lashes.
The first thing she noticed were the dark wigs surrounding her, the second was that those wings did not belong to Braum. For the space of a handful heartbeats she tensed, hooded eyes widening as she turned her head to glance about herself. There was the raum, not far off and tending to the other girl that had been fighting. The sudden tension in her shoulders eased, and she finally looked up to see whose lap she was currently laying in. He was a bird, like Braum. She recognized his face, but didn't have a name to place with it.
"Hello," she murmured up to him, smiling. If he'd thought she'd find waking up in a stranger's arms awkward, he was very much mistaken. Hadiyya had no real sense of personal boundaries, and the term "touchy-feely" was an understatement of epic proportions. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Hadiyya." Even injured, half awake, and groggy she was still polite.
Another buzz vibrated against her thigh, drawing her attention back to the source of her waking. Digging the phone from her coat pocket, she pressed a button to view the message. The relief that washed over her was almost tangible. Really, until that moment, she hadn't realized just how jack-damned worried she was for the nergal. And that in itself was very interesting.
Lips pursed, she thumbed in a replay, -How hurt are you? I'm up in the mountains. A bit beat up myself, and frozen down to the bone, but otherwise fine.- Somehow the message felt a bit inadequate, but she sent it anyways. Not really sure in that instant just what sort of message would have been more appropriate. interesting.

Aksaja glanced back again and raised brows slightly when someone (something?) else showed up, calling for someone named Gabrian. The thing looked something like a dragon, except that it was winged, and had no limbs... odd. But in any case, it quickly became apparent who she was talking to, as the Nix replied. Then she said a lot of things about people riding on her ... and the ligtning dragon found the corners of his lips quirking up a bit - remembering Riley riding about on Jericho back in the forest.
"Are we still resting here for a bit first?" he asked, "Or moving on? I think we should keep going as far as possible... things only seem to get more dangerous staying in one place," the lightning dragon muttered then, remembering how many trees had attacked the group in the forest until they started moving again. Only then had the enemies seemed more manageable.
