Arin brought her feet together, driving them down as she came crashing toward the planet with all the force of gravity twice that on Nexum. With all of her considerable strength, Arin's feet collided with the raptor's spine, which buckled, but did not break under the pressure. The animal flailed a wickedly barbed tail at Arin as she flew through the air, having sprung again into the atmosphere twenty-five feet before maxing her ascent. She shook the tightness out of her right fist, balling it up and driving back down toward the creature, aiming what she hoped would be the killing blow at the animal's head. As she paused at the apex of her leap, she felt the world still. She felt the peace... The calm that was present before the Plunge. She marveled at the beauty of death once more... And she returned to the thoughts of Aki... Thoughts of the pains of death... And the queen felt pity. This creature, flailing on its last breath... She almost stayed her hand... Before she remembered that living hurt more than dying.

Querrellous had taken their gifts, and his seal had ruptured, prematurely. It was due to be released gradually, over the course of his Proving. because of the power of his friends, Querrellous was capable of rupturing his Origin Seal, his remaining seals opening, (and his friend's seals releasing as well) giving him the full power of his group and their cumulative years of training all at once. The entire fight, Querrellous was terrified... Not of the Terre... But of his punishment when he returned to the Clan... When he had to explain why four had left, and one had returned... Why his seals were broken... Why he had broken all the rules and tenets of their order... And why he had killed his best friends, proceeding to kill an entire family of Terre... Needless to say, when he returned, he was greeted with a mixture of anger and fear, many regarding him as the first harbinger of the apocalypse... All the while, Aurrellious had smiled, his black, sleek tattoos pulsing with his confidence, and his quiet planning. He convinced them that Querrellous had done only what he could, and the Elder used his techniques to see inside the child's mind, observing that his group had sacrificed themselves, on the words Aurrellious himself had spoken. He had anticipated as much. Ever since Querrellous' seals had been revealed, Aurrellious had read his future. But Querrellous would have to suffer much more. His punishment was to be placed onto the Thirteen... A high honor, for most. It only served to further the dislike of Querrellous amongst the older, more rigid M'Erians. The M'Erian elder sighed, watching Arin carefully.

As Arin's fist crashed into the raptor's skull once again, it pierced through the skull finally. Arin's arm sank to midway up her bicep, positively burying her arm in gray matter, surrounded by a pink mist. Her pale skin was stained grey, black flecks forming in her eyes, spreading as it soaked into the corneas of her eyes, burning the queen's eyes, and blackening her vision temporarily. She blinked furiously, ripping her arm from the innards of the creature, shaking the bits of bone, teeth, and brain from her skin. She cracked her neck and strode deliberately toward Querrellous, loudly cracking her knuckles. "Is that it, Querrellous?"

Querrellous chuckled, staying his ground. "For the moment, that is your test. Now, you must forgive me."

"Forgive you? For something other than trying to kill me!?"

"Why yes, in fact." He raises one finger, a pinpoint of white light forming at the end of the elderly appendage. "Yes, indeed." It seemed to happen in slow motion, but he extended his index finger toward the forehead of the girl again.

Again, Arin's world exploded into white light, and there came that screaming girl again. Arin thought that someone really should help her. The voice spoke of anguish and suffering... Arin's vision swam, the blues of M13 fading to gray before even the gray faded to black, and her body hit the grass.

Arin awoke in a room, dark as night, lit solely by a dimly glowing growth on the ceiling, the moss that covered the damp stone a luminescent rainbow. Arin blinked, as it seemed that even this light hurt her eyes. Her head was pounding, and she forced herself to her feet, the foggy outlines of the ground swimming sickeningly before her. She looked down at her body, observing the faint purple glow emitting from the tattoos she had not had time to examine. What have they done to me? She shook her head, and immediately regretted it, her head splitting open as she tried to clear it. Eventually, the fresh wave of headache faded away. She groaned, finally deciding to see where she was. As she looked around, she could see nothing but stone. Not even an entryway... But there came two growls from the room... And someone that couldn't possibly be there... Tatopa!?

"We have brought to life all the ones whose lives that you have destroyed, Arin... If you wish to escape, you will need to slay them all again. If you should fail, you will die."

As soon as the disembodied voice faded, Arin stared her opponents down. "Fine... I don't mind repeating myself.

"I've been looking forward to this, b***h!"

Physical Description: Tatopa is tall and muscular to the point that he almost seems ready to burst out of his armor.
Clothing: A suit of saiyan armor with no wings. It is white and tan (generic) and it bears his family crest on the left chest plate. He wears a black suit underneath the armor that extends only to halfway down his biceps and his thighs.
Background: Tatopa was raised and trained from birth in strength. He was going to begin training in ki, but he decided that it wasn't worth it, and that anyone he couldn't kill with his bare hands was just proof that he needed to train more.
Personality: Tatopa is cocky. He believes that he is the strongest of all saiyans, and that every other saiyan should bow to him. If a saiyan refuses to bow to him, he will kill them or die trying.
Other: His ki technique sensei refused to bow to him. So he slaughtered him. His strength trainer also refused, and he punched him so hard in the stomach that the man's spine broke through his back.

Description of Jutsu: Using your ki added to a weapon, you can extend the weapon or you can create a cutting edge (depending on your specialty)

Technique Name: Ki shot
Description of Jutsu: allows the user to form a ball of their ki that can be thrown/shot at their opponent. This is one of the most basic forms of attacking with ki, as it only requires a loosely-formed ball/beam/arrow/projectile (depending on your specialty/preference) of energy and the ability to move your arm (or not, as it were)

Technique Name: Ki blast
Description of Jutsu: This technique seems to be fairly common, (and fairly obsolete) throughout the universe. It focuses generic chakra and fires a blast (can be a cone, ball, beam, whatever,) of non-sustained chakra to do a little damage to whatever it happens to hit.

Damage: 10-30 + ki mod. + 1 per ten in ki control
Reflex DC: 5 + Character level + ki mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage.

Special: Can be used to cancel another non-sustained ki attack if it proves to have a higher DC.

Technique Name: Ki Ball
Description of Jutsu: This technique is a charged ball of your ki, it allows you to put ki into it so long as the user can control it, and it deals considerable damage to whatever it hits.

Kp Cost: indefinite. At least 80
Damage: 40 + ki mod + 1 per ten in ki control +1 per two additional kp
Requirements: 20 ki, 30 ki control, 20 ki techniques, ki blast
Training: 4 days
Special: user can put as many kp as he has available into the attack, and begins gaining bonus damage and attack roll for the kp he puts in over the requisite 80.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 1 per ten in ki control + ki mod + 1 per 5 additional ki put in.

Ki balls deal splash damage. This means that for a range of [ki stat + 1 per five extra kp inserted or less] feet, your damage is inflicted on everything in range.

Technique Name: Sustained Ki blast
Description of Jutsu: This is another fairly common technique. It involves the user firing a continuous stream of ki at their opponents. Unlike a non-sustained attack, this attack can be used to continuously damage an enemy if you can hit them.

Technique Name: All-or-nothing
Description of Jutsu: This jutsu greatly increases the abilities of the fighter, at the expense of their health and ki. This technique is risky, but the rewards can be well worth it.

Special: This technique will enhance the users powers drastically for a few seconds.

For one post (the post after using this technique)

the user has full access to all of their ki (since they opened the gate that normally held it separated,) After the technique, the ki not used goes into MKP until it's full, and then the overflow goes into kp.

The user gains 5 STR, 5 DEX and 5 WIS (your body has partially unlocked all physical barriers, as well, giving you access to extra reserves of strength)

The user gains +2 turns per post, all with no bonuses save what would normally apply (no base attack bonus)

Technique Name: Super Saiyan

Special:
multiply all abilities (except for wisdom) by 1.5. (rounded down)
wisdom is reduced by 1/4.
(For hp and kp, recalculate instead of multiplying the numbers directly.)

every post, the super saiyan loses 2% of their mkp, and will forcibly be removed from the transformation should their power level fall below 80,000

The user must have a power level of 80,000 every time they transform, and it requires 6 combat actions [or a full post, whichever is lower] (minus 1 per fifty in modification techniques) to transform.

Special: Can only be procured at a Saiyan's shop. No other race will have a suit of this armor for sale, because no Saiyan would give it up, unless their pride had forced them to remove it and they got killed, or similar, but that's not important. The point stands: Only at Saiyan stores.

Name: Standard Scouter
Type: Ki Scanner
Description: This is the most basic scouter on the market, excluding antiques. It allows a person to read apparent power levels to the mark. Unfortunately, it will explode if a power level is over 25,000.
In-Game Stats: Allows a person to read apparent power levels, in the original Saiyan language, unless specially made for a different language, or modified with a repair DC of 100.
Damage: 15 damage to the person wearing the scouter if they try to read a power level of more than 25,000, from the explosion.
Requirements: None, except it must be purchased from a Saiyan store.
Special: A Saiyan with appropriate background may begin at creation with a scouter without spending a technique on it, although they are not allowed to have the skills sense ki or conceal ki at creation.

Fuel efficiency: Can travel for three years without stopping, but it must enter a hospitable atmosphere for at least ten minutes at least every six months to replenish its environmental system.
Environmental system (if any): Can last for six months at a time, but must be replenished every six months by entering a hospitable atmosphere for ten minutes.
Life support/medical support (if any):
The pod contains a device that places the rider in suspended animation so that they can preserve their strength for their trips and reduce the amount of food they require.

A functional life support system is available to stabilize the user should they be injured, but there is no healing available: One must travel to a planet that will take care of them. This life support system will fly the ship for the user, replenishing the environmental system as the owner sleeps, so long as it is given a destination.
Control system: The Saiyan space pod is controlled by voice commands in their native tongue (or the standard for its design,)

by a keypad that is translated to be read in the vernacular (sometimes simplified to pictures for illiterate fliers,)

and by a remote control with generally only four buttons:

Come: tells the pod to fly to the user
Depart: Tells the pod to fly somewhere safe.
Orbit: Tells the pod to orbit the planet until further notice, and to preserve its life as best it can
Self-destruct: The pod will explode, causing 100-500 damage to any within a ten foot radius, and 200-700 to any that are inside the pod.

HP: 5 feet times 100 HP = 500 HP
Special: When traveling in a saiyan space pod, the user need only eat once every six months, and suffers no ill effects from neglecting their physical training.

In fact, they can train in mental methods for the duration of the trip, and the computer generally has education material on its hard drive, and can access more by connecting to the intergalactic 'internet,' but add one DC to each roll for the amount of time you go between eating:

For instance, eating once every six months (the max) will add 6 to the DC, while eating once every three months will add only three.
Weapons/Defenses: None whatsoever. This pod is completely weaponless, and designed for lightweight speed and stamina as opposed to being a combat flier.

Physical description: A gargantuan pod. A black spherical ship fifty feet in diameter, with hundreds of red windows. It has an on-board garden, an excellent environmental system, a gravity training room that takes up an entire floor of the ship, six furnished bedrooms, a six ship docking bay, a kitchen, and voice control.

This is the finest brand of ship available on Earth, and while it may not be the best in the Universe based on technology, it certainly has all their love for furnishings and comfort.
Vehicle speed: .5 light years per mile
Fuel efficiency: can travel without stopping for a year, at which point it needs to touch down on a planet, shut down, and spend 24 hours in the sunlight. An extremely efficient fueling system keeps the ship operational until that time based completely on solar energy, and what it siphons out of the air.
Environmental system (if any): The on-board environmental system consists of oxygen converters and a large garden that clean the air of wastes and recirculate them through the ship.
Life support/medical support (if any): A medical floor, with six rejuvenation tanks and enough supplies to treat just about anything, accompanied by a surgical robot programmed with the latest technology updated weekly by the ship.. This chamber can put any injury back together, and the rejuvenation tanks heal at the rate of 15 hp and 15 kp per post. (hour) UPGRADE: now heals at a speed of 10% +30 hp/kp per hour.
Control system: voice-controlled with a manual override if desired.
HP: 50 feet times 100 HP = 5000 HP
Special: The ship can turn large sections (The entire third floor [the living quarters] for example) of its hull transparent from the inside so as to view the scenery.
Weapons/Defenses: None. Apparently the humans decided they just didn't need to give the ship any weapons. Those idiots.

Bo: A Bo is basically a staff. The Bo is normally around 2m long or at the very least 6 inches longer than the person height for purposes of attacking and maneuverability.
Damage: 1 - 6 + Str. Mod. +1 per ten points in weapons (bo)
Range: Melee + 5 ft. forward.
Special: Can be used as a defensive weapon, spinning the Bo in front of you gives you + 4 in dodge bonus.

Arin dashed forward, punching one of the tigers so hard in the jaw that its skull shattered, and its body was sent flying at the other tiger at such a wicked speed that the impact ceased the life functions of that animal, as well. As both landed in a bloody heap, Arin continued her unbelievably fast charge, her fist driving into Tatopa's stomach, lifting him into the air and dropping him again to his knees, looking right into the eyes of the diminutive queen. She had learned from her previous mistakes, though, and even though she'd broken the back (and every other bone in this boy's torso) of the saiyan, she would not leave him recognizable. The queen reached forward, placing her fingers in the boy's mouth. His eyes widened in nameless fear, and he began whimpering in terror as the queen placed her other hand on top of the one she'd already put in his mouth. She turned her top hand over, and slowly the whimpers turned to screams. Patiently... Cruelly, she ripped the boy's head in half, leaving his jaw attached, his upper skull rolling across the floor, eyes darting frantically around as he tried to find his body. Obviously, if she could go back, she would have covered her tracks a little better.

"Goooood... Now, the next round!" Querrellous' voice chuckled, echoing through the cave "Surely you remember Akachi and Friedrich?"

Arin watched as a third tiger, a muscle-bound giant and a small old man appeared. "I didn't kill Friedrich!"

"Perhaps not directly, but through your inadequacy, his death came about. If you had not been such a pathetic weakling, you would have been able to kill Akachi before Friedrich died such a horrible death!"

"He's right. I should have let Akachi kill you, and attacked when his attention was turned! You are worthless, and you are certainly not a warrior! I could have killed Akachi by myself, if you had not shown up and doomed me! Die, harlot!"

"AKACHI KILL MONKEY!!!"

Arin watched as Friedrich charged a ki blast, wind whipping around the cave. She watched as Akachi charged, quaking the ground with each step, and she saw another tiger charging on all fours. She took a breath, preparing herself for the onslaught.

Arin dodged a blast of wind by stepping to the side. She leaned back and backbent, dodging the tiger that had leaped, claws outstretched, to tear her face to shreds. As her hands touched the ground, she sprang forward, her feet drilling into Akachi's gut, preempting any idea of an attack that the brute may have had. She touched the ground, springing up to the ceiling, slipping as she hit the moss, pushing off and rolling on the ground, turning to face the fight, shaking the viridian scum from her flesh, scattering the algae on the cave floor, waiting for the next wave of attacks.

"Ooooh! Nice! Fancy footwork! Now, why don't you stop dallying and start KILLING!? We don't have all day, here!"

"I'm gonna kill you when I get out of here, you ancient b*****d!"

This time, as the tiger leaped, Arin backhanded it, crushing its body against the stone wall. As Friedrich attacked with another ball of wind, Arin stepped to the side and back again, seeming to just stand as he fired. She stepped forward so quickly that she may have simply vanished, and with a merciless punch, she ended his life for the second time. When it was Akachi's time, he charged, roaring, his broken ribs crunching as he loped toward the Queen. He raised a fist, jumping and aiming a punch that would have terrified mortal men. But Arin was no mortal man. And she was not going to die. With a single punch, she powered through the brute's technique, listening to the rolling snap, splinter, crunch ((Sounds like a delicious breakfast cereal >.<)) of an arm being turned to powder. She ducked, getting under the brute's body, and rammed her palm into his jaw, uppercutting him and brutally burying his skull in the stone above, leaving him hanging like some twisted and deranged Christmas ornament. She took a breath, stepping away and rolling her shoulders, cracking her neck loudly. "Next."

"Ohhhh! That was brilliant! Everyone come get your new housing decorations! Comes in two varieties: stationary and rotating! Up next is the saiyan duo: Ape and Bete!"

His voice echoed through the cavern as Arin turned to face the duo of intruders that had trespassed on her ship. "What the ******** are you doing in my cave?" She didn't even give them a chance to speak. She was tired of the games. She sprinted forward, aiming to remove them from her path as immediately as possible.

Selena had nearly reached the location of where Zyke was currently training. She stopped two football fields away from reaching his location, for he seemed to be doing training of some sort. so rather than interrupt that, she began her own training.she began charging her ki into her hands, feeling the energy course through her veins like blood as the hands slowly began to glow white , sky blue, and yellow. she needed to be able to hit an enemy multiple times with one ki attack. she may have had a decent amount of ki, but it wasn't enough to stand up to even her beloved son. for his sake, she had to become stronger. angel feathers seemed to flutter to the ground from her hadns as her ki built up around them. her face was that of a determined warrior, steadfast to the challenge ahead of her. she aimed at a distant tree, and prepared to fire. the angel feathers that fell now swirled around her like a tornado, illuminating her body with a radiant light as the ki in her hands pulsed to her heartbeat.

Arin's punch to Ape's cheek had sent him flying across the room, crashing into the wall, the glowing moss on the ceiling becoming dislodged in places and falling in blotches on the floor, causing the lighting to become more even, the glow illuminating the mid-levels of the room pretty regularly, giving everyone a sickly pallor. Arin's tattoos glowed more fiercely as she fought, though. She didn't know what it meant, but she figured that any change in the state of what was apparently restricting her ki was a good thing. The intricate designs were glowing a magenta that rivaled the natural lighting of the cave in intensity, and she glowed like a dim torch. Bete wasted no time in attacking Arin, and her only response was to cocked her head to the side, allowing his fist to draw him elbow-deep past her cheek. She balled up her fist and readied to drive it into his chest. Looking directly into his eyes, she whispered: "Missed me!"

Bete bounced and rolled across the floor, crashing into the wall as his bones liquefied. Arin remembered that she had killed Ape, but that Rota had killed Bete... After Bete had begged for his life. She was curious to see how this played out. This was all so easy... Although, she remembered truthfully that Ape had been a pushover the first time she'd killed him.

"Bro?" Ape looked toward the corpse that was formerly his family member. "Bro?" He started shaking, his grief turning quickly into anger "YOU KILLED HIM! MY BROTHER!!!" With a roar, Ape sprinted at Arin, all idea of technique removed by grief.

Arin watched as apparently Ape was going to tackle her... She cocked an eyebrow, The short one really was the smart one.

"Ouch! He'll feel that in the morning!... Or now." More of Querrellous' chuckling echoed through the room
