"A point," Bartholomew said. He didn't know what they were collecting them for, but they sounded like less work than the cat.
He looked at Alwine.
"Yes err, could someone help her out of there. She looks very stuck."

Rain went to the front of the car and picked up one of the boxes nestled in the corner. She peeked inside to make sure the little critter was still alive before walking over to Belladonna and handing it to her. "Here you go! I think he's one of the nicer ones." Some of them had a nasty habit of biting but she kept that tidbit of information to herself.

Making sure not to rattle the box too much, Belladonna made a slight curtsy to Rain and returned to her seat, carefully sliding the box under it so that it would not fly out if the train were to suddenly stop (of which Belladonna was absolutely certain it was, though she unclear as to why...) but so that it wouldn't get stuck when she arrived and wanted to take it home.
"Alwine? What a pretty name, and oh, I do so love your dress." Now the witch darted back to the headless girl (she was currently imagining she did have a head and that it was also very pretty) before placing her hands on her hips. "How are you stuck? Is it the dress? Bartholomew, is it? Do come help."
She set about looking the girl over, waving a hand at the demon, thinking him solely as a male demon and not as one that was rather prone to naps.

She pulled out one of the Peppermint Points and looked at it. "You know, I really have no idea what these are for. It's strange that we were told to give them out but were given no other information. It's very mysterious. There will be a lot of these given out during the Battleship game along with a couple silver pumpkin seeds and some Venus Flycats." Cautiously, she licked the Peppermint Point. She couldn't tell if it actually tasted like peppermint. She wiped it off and stuck it back into her pocket.

W- Wait? Where they ignoring her? Come on! She didn't get a single reply to her speech. Well that sucks. Huffing she gave Bunny one last hard look and a nod of acknowledgement to the demon that had tried to break up the tension before going and finding herself a nice little spot by herself. This car had way too many people for her liking
Mandy then proceeded to ignore everyone, including the dice game, just because she could. And secretly regret it when she saw the Venus flycat but she would never admit it. Oh well, she'd get another chance during Battleship.

"Cats are really nice, I bet you'll have a lot of fun," Alwine said to the witch. "I have a cat... well, it's more like she has me. She's really sweet, though."
Alwine struggled, kicking her legs as she tried to pry her butt out of the vice-grip that was a train seat.
"I love your dress too..." she replied. "I wonder if it gets stuck as easily as this one, though."

"Help?" Bartholomew made a face like someone had suggested he spend some leisure time in the princess corner.
"No, you know, I would. Except I think I'm stuck too. Not going anywhere for a while. It is extremely tragic." ...And what was all that conjecture about a mystery? Probably nothing important.

"This has been bugging me and I'm just going to come right out and say it," Rain started, looking directly at the Alwine, or at least staring where a head should be. "I'm sorry if this is rude or forward, but where is your head? How.. do you eat? Do you even eat? How are you speaking?" She tried to say it in as nice a way as possible as she was genuinely curious. If she didn't find out, it would bother her for the entire train ride. It was equal parts freaky and amazing.

Hearing his name, he snapped back to attention, glowing eyes burning alight again, peering down to Belladonna as she trilled happily to her new acquaintance. Seeing the little critter she received it from Rain, he grinned to his partner.
"Don't let Zwei get to it much, he may get jealous." He murmured, before hearing the request for help. Fidgetting a little, his tail twitched once or twice. "I would help, but I have my hands full with sudbuing my charge, and I intend to keep it." he stated, smiling regardless. Turning back to the conversation that Belladonna had found herself into, he found a bit of relevence in it. "I don't own cats, but I do have thirteen who follow me . . . "

The conversation about cats was right up Belladonna's alley, so much so that she kind of forgot to try to pry Alwine out of her seat. "I have a cat named Binx! He talks." Many cats in Halloweentown talked, but Belladonna felt it made him extra special. "13?! Wooooow. That's a lot Jack-b!" She was now saying his name with the same inflection should have said "Jackie" or "Jacky", the 'b' taking the 'y' sound. To her it sounded more than absolutely adorable. Of course, he already had Zwei (who received a pet anytime Belladonna even ventured near him) and Belladonna absolutely loved him so surely the rest of Jack's friends would be just as lovely!
And then Rain was suddenly asking Alwine why she didn't have a head and it was an altogether good question, for Belladonna had wanted to ask as well but didn't want to seem rude. Not that Rain was being rude... She was just forward, and very Rain-like.
"You're stuck too?" She inquired of Bartholomew, moving away from Alwine to inspect him as well and totally invading his personal space by trying to pull him from his chair by hand.

Alwine was many things, and one of them was gullible.
"You're stuck, too?! These seats must be awfully tight..."
Alwine looked at Rain (though she couldn't tell), and her neck flushed.
"I'm sorry, ah... I keep on forgetting that most headless people around here tote a head. Well, my family is very headless. My dad says that it's a dominant gene... or something, I'm sorry my explanation isn't better. I guess I just talk how other ghosts talk. They probably don't need mouths... I'm not sure how it works."
Alwine struggled a little bit to get out of her seat.
"I don't eat, I'm sorry. I often wonder what things taste like. Like pumpkin seeds... what do they taste like?"

"No it's really," Bartholomew started, before finding his hand abducted and the rest of him hauled upright. "alright," he finished, desperation touching the word.
Now he was standing up. And apparently expected to help with something.
This was the direct opposite of snoozing, napping, or dozing.
"Thanks," he said, not meaning it.

So she really didn't have a head. It wasn't just invisible, it was non-existent and had never been there! "I uh.. I don't really eat a lot of things except.. brains.. raw meat.. and blood. Everything else doesn't really have a flavor to me. Not really. Sometimes, I can taste a hint of something but it's rare. Brains.. now that's the best thing in the world. Especially when they are soft and warm." Mnnnnnnnn. She could go for a nice juicy brain right about now and she had eaten a hefty meal before boarding the train!

Alwine reached out for Bartholomew to help her up.
"Now that you're up, could you please help me? I'm really sorry to ask, really, I just... I can't get up, and my legs are starting to fall asleep."
She looked over at Rain. "I've heard that brains are chewy... I guess I should ask you if that's true. If you don't mind me asking, I mean... are brains chewy?"

"Ah, yes. None of them talk this language, but seeing as I'm a Nekogami, I can understand them, I suppose." He murmured.
Alas, he was being dragged around again, Belladonna's infectious energy bubbling around him as she conversed with whoever was in her interests at this time. As his heels clack, clack, clacked across the floor, he figured he couldn't complain, this was definitely the feeling he was hoping for when they met each other on the train - happy and content, instead of worrying who or what would jump up to snap they up next.
Looking down to Bartholomew, he couldn't help but chortle silently at the new victim of Belladonna's conversation, not joining in, but soaking in everything that she did. It made him feel pretty good, and the President of Student Counsil's little games made the evening go by well also.
Turning to Rain, he smiled. "I'm not a fan of citrus things, myself. I think it's something to do with the feline part of me. I just find it too strong, a little revolting." He pitched in.
Zwei, on the other hand, had stayed where they had been, the Nebelung cat stretched over his perch, watching everything through soft green eyes. He wasn't arsed to do anything, and nothing screamed "Be wary!" This would be a comfortable trip.
