"I wouldn't mind it." Sky was sure that he knew what she was getting at. She wasn't going to play stupid with him. Sky wasn't a child any more. She was a woman and Adney was a man. "At least you're cute." She added. Sky was over her fear of people noticing the scar on her breast. It had taken a year or two, but she had done it.

When all doubt in him had vanished about what she was suggesting, and that she had missed his hint, the redhead let out an inaudible sigh. Originally, he had found her confidence refreshing, but now he found it inconvenient; she was very attractive, yes, but that didn't automatically mean he wanted to sleep with her. Frankly, he considered himself too old for such feelingless sex. The teacher had thought that maybe their relationship was picking back up, she had kissed him twice that day, but it seemed his new roommate was only interested in sex. If that was the case, he wished her luck finding a friend with benefits, but he wanted no part of it. "I should put him back in his cage." he indicated the lizard in his hand before slipping through the door he was standing near. Crossing the main room in swift steps to his own room, nudging the door open with his side.

Sky felt like she crossed the line. She would love to still with him, but then there would be that awkwardness between them and it wouldn't be as fun. She adjusted her shoe. Not noticing that a 'Dream inc' card fell out of her purse. She had so many of them and the always were coming out. Once she done let out a sigh before sneaking into the living room. If she could just get to the corner she could disappear with her sand and be back at Dream inc's doors. "Look at the time." She said as she stepped towards the door. "If I don't get back to the dorms they'll say I'm not working and fire me." She added. Even if she had tomorrow off like she said earlier.

Show Me How To Lie....
Walking back into the living room, this time with no lizard in hand, the redhead looked mildly surprised. Closing his bedroom door, Adney didn't move much further into the room than a few steps. "Didn't you say you had the day off?" the teacher asked, hands in his pockets. He stood casually at a distance, as if attempting to give nothing away. His face was polite, his stance passive. "But if you really do need to go, who am I to stop you?" he shrugged, keeping disappointment from leaking into his voice. He wasn't repulsed by the idea of sleeping with Sky, and briefly he wondered if he had given her the wrong idea.

Sky didn't know how to respond.She couldn't tell if she should run for it or stay. She hated these girly emotions. She didn't even know how to use them right. She thought she was happy acting like a girl, but maybe she wasn't. Maybe she should go back to looking like a boy. "Maybe I should cute my hair and wear boys clothes again." She commented. Mostly to herself. What happened to her all those years ago. Love, hate, unneeded and need change. "What did you think of me when I still dressed as a boy?" She asked Adney.

Slightly surprised at her reaction, the teacher looked at her in confusion. "Clothes? Appearance?" his tone was obviously confused, but he chose not to move from his spot. Her confidence seemed to have gone, or at least decreased, and he didn't want to scare her off. "How you dress has hardly changed any feelings I have for you." the redhead spoke slowly, as if considering his words carefully. "But I didn't feel like you just wanted sex then." he finished, deciding to just bluntly state what was bothering him. "I really don't mind if you have a sex friend, or a 'friend with benefits' or whatever they're called, even if you bring them back here. So long as you keep it to your bedroom." he added the last part quickly, as if not wanting to think about it. "I just don't think I'd be able to keep feelings out of it." he shrugged, hands never leaving his pockets.

Sky hadn't left all her emotions the day she left Adney. There was still a part of the old Sky there. She smiled at him. "I think that I'll stay at Dream inc. I don't have what I need to move here anyways and moving it wouldn't be the best idea." She told Adney. She had been excited, but she let it get out of control. He really thought that she needed a 'friend with benefits'. She didn't she kind something a little more than that. "But lets stay friends." It was one of those says of we'll never be more than that.

Why did girls have to be so complicated? Maybe he really was better off as a bachelor, if they were all as confusing as Sky. It seemed that there was much under the surface here that he wasn't quite grasping; something that he was missing. "If that's really what you want." it seemed that the day they had supposed to have used for catching up was slowly beginning to crash and burn. Why did feelings have to go and ruin everything?

Sky looked at Adney. She didn't know if she could say anything about tit. It was personal and if things were coming into a end then why should they continue. It was best she broke her emotions. "Maybe I ran into one too many dreams." Just because she was a dream eater didn't make her dreamless. "Mine and yours." She wanted to be thought of as a woman and she still felt like a child still. She didn't really want things to start over. She wanted to start up where they went wrong. Just coming back and seeing Adney made her have a school girl crush again.

Clenching his jaw, a hard look passed over his features as frustrations grew. After a moment, he sighed and reached up to comb his fingers through his bangs, brushing them from his face. "Sky," his voice was soft, and he was doing his best to remain calm. "Tell me what you want." he finished, hand still in his hair. "Exactly what you want. No filters." he didn't want games or fancy words, he wanted the truth and he wanted it now.

Sky blushed. Adney wanted her to be straight with her, yet she knew even if she said something he would just shut her down. At least he can say that she lied to him. That was something that she wasn't a lair. "Please let me be your girlfriend." She said before turning red. She was so shy about it and the way she said made her look for Japanese then French. She wasn't loud about at all.

Surprised at her response, he looked to the floor. His bangs flopped down into his face once more, and he mumbled something inaudible beneath his breath. After a minute he looked up, his expression unreadable. "No sex friends?" he asked, his voice tight and controlled. He wanted to be clear on the conditions before he said anything else, his yellow-gold eyes gazing at her steadily as he took a few steps across the room in her direction.

"No sex friends." She answered as Adney moved closer. She kind of curled herself in to a standing ball a bit. Something she didn't do five years ago. It was bit odd, but it wasn't enough to look into right now. "Sky's honor." She added as if joking around a bit by making goofy words. She was trying to relax a bit. She pushed her hair back. Not trying to hide her eyes from the world.

As she seemed to curl in on herself, he froze in place; after a moment, he relaxed slightly, staying where he was. His hands returned to his pockets, and his stance reverted to a more passive and cautious one. He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it almost immediately. What did he want? That was a god question, as he wasn't quite sure. He liked Sky, he did, but did he like her in that way? Did he like her enough? Was he ready to try his hand at dating again, and if not, how much longer would he put it off? "I don't know how suitable I am, but I would like try." he spoke slowly, carefully forming each word. "Will you go on a date with me? A real date, not just lunch." he wanted to test the waters first, to make sure that was both what they really wanted.

Sky wasn't sure just because he wasn't sure. She didn't want to be pulled around and end up with nothing. She would give him a try at least. That didn't hurt. One day was fine, then she would see where it would go from there. She could break it off as fast as she got it on. "One day is fine." She answered. "But you have to pick where and what." She was setting down her own chips.
