So it is... We should move on from this place before I do though. ... Something does not feel right.
*The dragon moved back to shallow waters now, just reaching the bottom with his feet, and bringing his hands cupped to his mouth to ingest some of the water*

 Sparrow swam after him, still having to take short breaks as she adjusted to using her new limbs in a foreign manner. When she reached the shallows she set her feet down, walking up until she was only waist deep and glancing over her shoulder. She mimicked the dragon, using one hand to drink some lake water.

The fall keeps the water here fresh... There is little of it on the other side of the desert.
*The dragon trudged back out to the water's edge, shaking off the waters and illuminating his scales to steam what wouldn't shake*

She followed suit, smiling a little again whilst watching her master. However upon remembering that she did not have scales to dry off, just clothes, she frowned a bit. Shaking her arms, now heavy-laden from the damp clothing, she managed to do little more than sent water droplets flying in all directions.

*He watched as sparrow tried to dry off, as his scales were returning to their usual temperature, and he chuckled*
Ah yes... clothing. It can't be dried very well while you're still wearing it. ... Later we will invest some time... and get you clothes for swimming in.

Sparrow frowned slightly. 'I guess I'll have to wait.' She said, tugging the soaking wet sleeve and trying to ring it out.

There is nobody else around... at the moment. If you can hang them up on something... I can dry them for you.

Sparrow contemplated it. She would be cold, and had no desire for that. 'Is there a way to stay warm, without clothing?' She asked.

*Koth wandered over to a decayed tree that was nearest the lake, and he fell it with a swing of his tail. He dragged it back near Sparrow and sliced it up into small logs with his claws. He set fire to it and smiled*

Sparrow had approached one of the abandoned camps as he did this, gathering up a tattered, abandoned blanket before returning. She then pulled off her soaked clothing, finding some rocks to drape them against.
The clone wrapped herself up in the blanket as she returned, shivering a bit and hastily sitting by the warm fire, her wet hair hanging limp around her face while she gazed into the flames.

She was happy to accept more heat, leaning against the dragon and asking 'Is it, Master?'

A valley would not normally have much wind at all... But there is a lot here. As if there were no walls around us...
*Careful of his position to hers, he turned his head enough to avoid direct contact, and breathed flames out to her damp clothes*

Sparrow turned her head as well, watching the clothes dry and thinking about what he had said.
'I don't know.' Was the only conclusion the clone could come to. 'This place seems to have many strange things about it.'

The same could be said... of all of Terra. A solar cycle that never seems to end... Creatures bigger than imagination... So much more that doesn't make sense, even magic.
