Karver noticed Li Na, and gave a small chuff of a hello. He let the lioness do whatever she wished seeing as this one seemed like a loner; exactly like Leanna. Thinking about his family gave Karver a low sigh. He wondered how his sister and niece were doing. He didn't want it to seem like he was lonely, but he was. He was yearning for his family again. He wished they had come with him, but the females had their own paths. "I wonder how the others are doing.." Karver murmured softly getting a faraway look in his eyes. The lion's multi-colored tail feather began to wave a bit as if to mimic his thoughts.

I dunno,..hopefully well,.....Moyo wouldn't let anything happen to them,... *hope tried to be reassuring, having no clue about what was going on with her former pride*

He shrugged not really wanting to think about it anymore. He rested his head on his forepaws and gave a soft chuff. Karver began to doze a bit feeling the breeze against his fur. "It sure is lovely out here..." He murmured softly. "I'm glad we settled here.

*she nodded, then snuggled her face into his mane* Yeah. *she knew he was tired, and let him sleep, while she looked about the scenery from where she lay.*

He settles his chin on her forepaws and relaxes taking in her scent. Hope always calmed him and he slept better for it. His ears laid back slightly in total relaxation. Karver slightly nuzzled her neck before fully settling down.

Li Na had noticed Karver as he passed by, showing some respect she lowered her head as in a nod of hello but kept her words to herself. She looked into the waters of the oaosis her reflection staring back at her, showing her sleek face and her different colored eye. One was a sorta red color while the other was light blue, almost the color of the sky. Her eyes showed out who she is, a person of a dark side yet a lighter side as well.

*Hope smiled, and settled down for another nap, faintly noticing the other female fass by*

Ilice bubbled up in the back of Li Na's mind, seeing through the varied eyes. "We are in a Pride...why are we in a Pride, Aoi?" The silky voice purred in the fire-colored lions ears. "We don't need this Pride...they are weak, that's why they are here...we aren't weak!"

A low growl came from her throat. "I know Im not weak in anyway." Ilice was Li Na's dark side, the demon from within as well her stronger side. Since birth the cunning smooth voice has been talking to her. At first she thought she was mad and crazy and needed to be put down, but Ilice wouldn't let her do herself in until she understood that there is no way that she could get rid of what is part of her, but try to control it.

The King had already awakened. He had gotten up and stretched near to Hope, but far away enough so not to distrub her. "Oh, that was a great rest. I feel so much better." Karver looked over at the lioness and smiled. "How you sleep? Well I hope." The lion grinned over at her.

mn *she nodded* quite well. *she streatched, and then sat up. She shook to get some grass and dirt off her fur* It's nice to hear your doing well, too. *she curled her feathered tail around her feet, then shook her longer furr out of her face*

The laughter wound itself around her very mind, shooting chills down the teens back and making her fur stand on end. Ilice didn't remember when she had been created but she knew why she had been. She was the only guardian the poor lion had against vicious memories. Things that had happened before a green lioness had found them. "You should know by now, my sister...I am always right..." Ilice managed to get Li Na to turn her head to view Hope and Karver. "How long would they survive on their own? For a male, the King is foolish and laughable...his mate no better...They would feed the buzzards and hyena's within days..."

 Pastel trotted up to the edge of the pride lands, it was quite a walk and she got lost but some kindly lion pointed the way for her for which she was greatful. It was hard enough to travel across the desert which scorched her skin and left her parched. So by the time she arrived thankfully in their presence, the lioness that had grown into a beautiful adult during her journey, her steps were wobbly and she couldn't even hold herself up. Pastel took a few steps into the rather beautiful pride lands that were Karver's and collapsed on the cool oasis grass mostly due to fatigue.

Her laughter, her voice, her everything made her sick to her stomach. She didn't like or want to listen to what Ilice had to say or any smart comments. "You don't know them, I don't know them. You are so quick to judge you know." Li Na had enough of Ilice and decided to do something to block her mind of her. "All I have to say to you is two words : Screw you. Im hungry now Ilice, be a good dear and shut up for awhile while I go find me some game or Fayola." She had hoped her words would shot through Ilice. She got up from the oaosi and headed out in search for some food.
