"Ministry? What ministry?" Myrtle dawned a most worried expression. The master would be furious if some drama causing event happened at the house while he and his wife were out.
"I ne'er tuched bred duh. Nawt alowd in the kit'chen when theys cookin'." Tobi shrugged a bit and plucked a few of the blades. He held them up to his face to stare at closely, just to see what the grass looked like up close.

"A Ministry that Geoffry works for, but it shouldn't be too much trouble.. they already know about the kids so It's safe to say that they won't be butting in.." Lucia sighs, not even flinching when her husband returns with a soft pop, a large marvelous bird perched on his right shoulder. "Sorry it took so long, Russel was preening himself." He chuckled as he knelt down, the phoenix hopping off his shoulder and sitting happily in the grass, letting out a soft, beautiful sound.
Hearing his father, the boy looked up and grinned wide, "Tobi tobi tobi tobi look! Is Russel!" he says happily, attempting to drag the boy over to the fiery bird.

"And if they do? I can't have a commotion starting up on the property, the master would be sore for a week over it." She sighed and shook her head. When Geoff returned, she gasped a bit and placed a hand over her chest. Myrtle was fairly certain that she wasn't ever going to get used to that.
"He's biiiig!" Tobi allowed himself to be pulled up and then toddled over to the bird, perhaps a little cautiously. He looked him over, deciding that it was indeed a phoenix. "He's purdy cool."

"There won't be any commotion." Lucia assured the other woman before going over to her husband and kneeling down to have a whispered conversation with him.
Meanwhile, Jason was grinning ear to ear as he plopped down right next to the giant Phoenix and made a variety of bird noises, which got ramble from the bird its self. Giggling, he reached out and gently ran his hand down the Phoenix's back. "Dun worry, Russel is nais."

With nothing to really do, Myrtle stood by and watched the interactions going on, which was when she noticed Tobi's abandoned shoes. She frowned and moved over to pick them up with a sigh. It was no use getting him to put them on again once they were off...
"C'n I pet 'im?" Tobi moved a little closer, suddenly finding that it was quite intimidating to look the bird in the eye.

"A'coors!" He smiled, watching as the Phoenix settled down on the grass, folding it's wings back and getting comfortable. It seemed to be enjoying the attention it was getting, seeing as Russel usually got attention from the small family who kept him unless Geoff payed a visit to his Alma Mater.

Tobi knelt down next to Russel and reached out a small hand and placed it on one of his wings. He let it sit there for a moment before running it down to the tips. "He's sawft... I laik it." A smile came to his face, and he began to repeat the petting process.

The Phoenix let out a soft coo, leaning forward and rubbing it's head against Tobi's chest, showing that the boy had gained it's trust. "I think he leiks yew." Jason giggled a little, though he was surprised that the other had gained the trust of the fiery bird so quickly.

"Gewd, I laik him." Tobi responded simply as he continued to pet the bird.
Myrtle glanced at her watch, and let out a soft noise. "I'm so sorry to cut this short, but the missus will be home soon and I'm sure she would like some space to relax. Perhaps we can get them together at a later date?" She looked from one parent to the other.

Lucia smiles and nods, "Sure. Just be sure to call first." she notes as she walks over and picks up her son who squirms a little, "Come on Jason, it's time to go." She coos, smoothing his hair down gently, getting the boy to settle into her arms quite easily. Geoff kneels down next to the phoenix and looks to Tobi, "If you visit, I'll give you one of his feathers, okay, Kiddo?" He asks, watching as Russel climbs back onto his arm to perch on his shoulder.
Lucia had already started to head off to the car, Jason waving to Tobi, a little sadly. "BYEEE BESTEST FWEND!" He shouts, nearly causing his poor mother to go deaf in her right ear.
