Miah nodded her head Lucia. "No problem. I'm rather used to it, considering how well I handled it." she said. "And of course, my ego is too big to quit a competition so easily. Though of course a bit of friendly competition wouldn't hurt. We'll make it interesting though. Ever done a battle of the notes?" she asked, tapping her chin.

"Look I'm being honest I don't I only done battle of best guitar solos so yeah can you explain the competion to me?"

Miah nodded. "Right, so basically it's when two instruments battle with one tune but at different pitches. Like for example, you would play one part on a B flat. When you finished that one part, it'd be my turn to play the same tune but at, lets say, an A sharp." She looked at her. "Get it? This goes on until the song ends."

Jami glanced over at Dari, before letting out a sigh. "Can we just get this done with?" He asked quietly looking down at the ground. He was too tired to keep his head up right now, hopefully the walking would wake him up.

Miah waved to Lucia but kept her focus on Jami. She clasped her hands behind her back and walked towards her. She gave a crooked smile, this one not so rare, as she got close to her face. "I'm sorry to seem like such a bore." she said in a flat voice. "If you're so eager then let's begin." She turned away and said in a cheerful voice, "Rayleigh! Can we start now? Seems our new members are becoming restless."

Jami twitched his hand slightly, glaring at the ground. "erm" He shutting his eyes' more, letting out a breath of hair.

Rayleigh clapped her hands, "Yay you guys made up... Kinda... Not really. But it still count!" She laughed a tiny bit, she looked at Miah, "Yah you can. Its fine with me, and it says its open."

Lucia looked back,"Sure we made up here but at the competion it will look like a battle." Lucia turned around and walked out the office to go outside on the steps.

Dari smiled, stepping more in front of Jami. "Yes, shall we go. It's getting quite boring just standing here. I might fall asleep where i stand." She yawned with her hand over her mouth for exrta. She turned her head slightly towards Jami and whispered, "It'll be over soon enough."

Miah sighed. "Impatience. That's something that will never get you anywhere. Here, you're always going to be waiting. That's what happens to all new students. Of course, I wait for no one. Everyone waits on me." She beamed to Rayleigh, which of course, was rare. "Thank you, dear. I'm glad to hear it." She turned to Dari and Jami and snapped her fingers. "Come on, let's hurry." she said, starting to walk off.

Dari scoffed and looked after her, she considered walking in the opposite direction. But they wouldnt know where anything was. She decided to go along for now and then walk off when they were done. She grabbed Jami's wrist and went after Miah.

Jami stayed quiet, letting Dari pull her. She looked at the ground, muttering quietly to himself.
