/New Day Well, it'd been a rather long time since Bela stopped by the Bakery to see her favorite date of the last year. Hell, she hadn't even seen him since New Year's! In any case, no one could dare say that Bela was particularly clingy! However, instead of making a huge announcement of her arrival, she planned on doing the same thing as that night on New Year's; surprise him. She might even get a taste of one of his baked goodies, since she pretty much hasn't tasted any food of his at all. But she had caught wind that he was at the Cooking Festival, where she had not attended... by obvious reasons.
Bela's plan was pretty much like the last time she was here, steal away her lover and take him to the beach. She so wanted to go to the Beach with Xeiro since Winter, but couldn't for... yet more obvious reasons. Having walked inside she noticed that Xeiro must have been in the back, perfect! She wandered to one of the tables and sat. Her blond hair was a rather obvious marker that this was Bela, and not anybody else.
Bela wasn't even sure if there were waiters here, because she hadn't seen any last time. Oh, how fun it would be to tell the waitress that she had a 'special request' for the 'head baker'! She felt rather giddy, as she always did when she was up to some mischief. Harmless, or otherwise.

Xeiro stirred the batter angrily in the back. The day had only started and it was just dragging on; he pulled a spoon out of his trusty container and dipped precise amounts onto the pan he had laid out. Chocolate chocolate chip cookies were the best and ever since Xeiro was young, they made him feel good.
He placed the pan into the oven quickly and turned to the other counter where the donuts were cooling. He grabbed up the filling thingy-majig (what in the world is that called?!) and inserted it carefully into the first row. He switched filling for the next row and left the last two plain.
He stopped after that and crossed his arms, leaning against the counter waiting for the cookies to be done. He really wasn't up for going out with the customers at this point, he felt he needed to get some cookies in him first.

Mitsuke stood behind the front counter flipping through a random magazine that was out for customers. She was hankering for some alcohol at this time, but stupid Xeiro wouldn't allow it. They had a little confrontation at home, and it ended in-- well, him beating desserts to death in the backroom and her vowing to not drink on the job again. Apparently she made a fool out of his establishment and blahblahblah.
She looked up from the magazine as a new person walked in, she could have sworn she spotted her at the club when she was there the other night. But, maybe not... She watched the blond pick a seat and took it upon herself to wait her. She ran her fingers through her hair and walked over to the table the woman chose. She stood with a small smile on her face, not wanting to be too perky about it. "Hi there, I'm Mitsuke. Is there anything I can get for you, ma'am?" Ma'am that was another one of Xeiro's things. She had to address everyone properly and with a smile. She hated it, but she couldn't stand even the threat of being cut off.

Bela had, actually, already started thinking up her little quips. Bela so loved playing with Xeiro. She wondered idly if he would, indeed, end up attending her... that would be no fun. And that's when she heard a woman's voice, turning to look up at her. Well, how about it... it was that slut from the club! The one who had practically given Vlad a handjob right in front of her face, wasn't it?
"Oh, don't call me Ma'am, please. I don't think I'm that old yet. Miss would be fine." Bela said with a quirk of her eyebrow, a smirk coming to her face. Did she look old?! <********>, that would be terrible! Turning her head to look at the vague reflection from the store's front glass very briefly. Oh yes, she was very vain. And then it came up, the perfect opportunity!
"Actually, I'm here to give a complaint to the head baker for a really bad batch of--" Bela paused theatrically to look around, "Brownies." she scrunched up her face a little and nodded solemnly, trying to keep it believable. "But, you know, I don't want to make a scene or anything. I understand it was a simple mistake, but I'd just like to point it out to avoid some future inconvenience." Bela nodded with a smile now, not wanting the girl to get mad and cause an spectacle; she simply needed an subtle way to get to Xeiro! And if he was having a bad day, anyway? Even better. Why else would Bela push people's buttons? To see them get mad, of course!

Mitsuke widened her eyes a bit at the woman's words. "I'm terribly sorry for my mistake, miss. You don't look like a ma'am at all, I'm told to say that." She nodded happy with herself for handling that well. It seemed as though she recognized her as well, oh that's right... the bitchy stripper.
She couldn't bother herself with the trivial thoughts of the night before once she spoke about the complaint. Surely she was mistaken, Xeiro didn't make mistakes. She was sure of it, but apparently the customer was always right and some other bullshit so she just simply smiled and nodded. "He's in the back right now; I'll go let him know." She nodded once more and began walking towards the back.
She knocked on the side of the doorway before going in, knowing he was already angry. "Umm... Xy?" She called to him watching him pound the hardtack rather vigorously. Once she had his attention and he had dropped the could-be weapon she began, "There's a woman out here that says she got some bad brownies... I didn't think anyone else would have cooked them, and she said head baker..." She let her voice trail standing in the doorway in a perfect position so if he killed her now her body would fall out into the open. She held her breath awaiting his response.
________________________________
Xeiro beat the mallet against the pan of hardtack candy, normally he wouldn't have made hardtack during the spring. But, with his mood he simply couldn't resist the urge to beat something. He looked up and dropped the mallet on the counter as he heard his sister's voice mutter the name only his two sisters called him. He placed his hands on the counter and refused to look at her. "What..."
Once she told him he turned his head slowly and gave her a look that would burn through anyone. "What?!" He let out a low growl after the word. "Who..." He let her answer before he pulled his hands from the counter and turned his body towards her. "Move." He felt so primal at this moment, only saying one word at a time, and there was the chance that he may even kill.
He walked past her and out into the front; he pulled his apron off and placed it onto the counter, making a forceful smacking sound as he did. He walked over to the table Mitsuke had designated. He stopped short from her chair and stood with his arms crossed behind her. "There was a problem with my brownies?" The words trailed off into a snarl as he fumed with anger over just about everything in his life at this point. The ******** brownies were the straw that busted his hump, or something like that.

Jack smiled and stood in front of the bakery "Well here it is! The baker in here is great! I stopped here on my first day here and he has some of the best pastries I ever had." He said with a smile and opened the door for her "Ladies first" He said very gentleman like, he was raised to always respect women. He remembered a time he didn't and his dad smacked him on the back of the head. He absent mindedly rubbed the back of his head as he thought back to that moment.

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian smiled and walked inside, thanking Jack. Then she saw the pastries, and immediately made a bee-line for the sweets. It was rather adorable actually. She looked at all the sweets happily, trying to think of which one she should get. They all looked so tasty! She turned to Jack for help. "Jack, which one's your favorite?" She asked, smiling. She was really having a good time. Moving here had definitely been a great idea. [[Edited the first sentence a bit, didn't see your post at first lol]] ✪✪✪

Jack walked in behind her and laughed to himself when she made a beeline to the counter. He walked up behind her and looked at them as well "Hmmm....The muffins are pretty good but I if you like cake, then get the cupcakes. They are to die for." He said as he looked at the cupcakes and his mouth started to water.

Jack smiled, a chocolate cupcake sounds great. He licked his lips and pulled out his won wallet. He gently pushed her hand with the wallet down "No worry, I'll pay for it, a welcome to the island gift." Jack said with a warm smile "It will be my pleasure"

Bela turned her head forward as the girl left, not even bothering to give her a second look. Xeiro was sure to come out, and he would be pissed. And once she heard the smacking sound, she just had to smirk. And his voice...! Bela actually turned her head to look up at him, smirking still. "Not at all. I haven't even tasted any of them." Bela shrugged, wondering how he'd react to this. He could very well just get even angrier... but, wasn't that the fun part? The unexpected. And he sounded so passionate just a moment ago, he was even huffing and puffing!
But she dare not make a move, it was rather scary, even to her. Something of a thrill ran through her system at the thought. She wasn't a masochist, but there was just something so... primal about angry men that turned Bela on. Turning halfway in her seat to look back up at him, her face belying any fear she would certainly have. Hell, if she could face Keith off, who she now knew carried a knife everywhere, she couldn't be too afraid of Xeiro.
Besides, he loved her little tricks. "I really just wanted to meet you in person, because I've heard that the Head Baker here was really good looking; and whoever said so definitely wasn't wrong." Bela smiled with the bitchiness with which she was known for, running her eyes up and down rather slowly along the man's body. She really hoped that the waitress was looking, just so she could see how Bela had her older brother wrapped around her little finger.

Jack smiled and a small blush swept across his cheeks when she hugged him. "A chocolate cupcake it is! I had one last time I was here and it was good" He said with a smile as he waited for someone to come up so he could pay for them. "So you moved from london huh? My grandfather lives there."

✪ ✪Lirian Wolfe✪✪ ✪✪✪Lirian nodded. "Yeah, London is really nice. I bet your grandfather likes it there~!" She said happily. She liked London too, of course, she thought this place was way better though. Weird that no one had come up to them yet though. Hm. Ah well, it was worth the wait for such a yummy treat! ✪✪✪

"Yeah he does, thats why he and my gram moved back there when my dad and my uncle went off to college." Jack said as he remembered his yearly visits to his grandparents' house for christmas and some time during the summers. "My great grandfather taught my grandfather father how to fish. my grandfather taught my dad, and my dad taught me. Its a Walker family tradition to teach their child to fish."
