By the way, is his skin blue, or is that a mask?

Just finished painting the rest of the Harlequins and the Talos. I couldn't give the Harlies as much love as the first model, but they all look ok together, and more importantly, fit into the army. The Talos shows the colors of the Coven that my Archon is in lieu with. Probably the best 5 hours spent at the painting station this week!

Love the green glowy bits on this one, better than the glowy red with the other one, though the red bottles look better than the green ones imho.
And the harlies, not a big fan of them, sorreh! The colours clash too much imho, it might be better to go with more muted colours instead of the brighter ones.

To be honest, I want to re-paint all the glowy bits on the models, but that'll have to wait until I get my hands on an airbrush. And concidering I'm on a budget for the moment that'll be by the summer.
As for the Harlies, I do agree with you, but I also think they do look ok when standing along with the rest of the army, but I will look into muted colors on the next unit I'm painting (there's some CRAZY idea in my mind to field a DE army with 30 Harlies).

This is a personal preference, but I'd also go with white masks myself, though this is just me. The white would make for a fine contrast with the darker body suits.

Struck by insomania, and tired of painting blue for the moment, I turn my face to my other Dark Eldar army. I bring you a WIP of my 2nd Razorwing Jetfighter. The hull is done, all I need to do now is base it, find the missing missiles, the weapons and paint the gems and glass in Incubi Darkness.

If you've finished, you should enter it in the Vehicle Painting Contest. ninja
