The Doctor looked over at the bazaar and shrugged. "I guess we can, get the New new York feeling." he said while walking over to the shops with her.

There was a multitude of things everywhere, half of which she had no idea what they were for. Baubles and bangles draped the shops, old and new alike. She picked up a crystal pendant that whirled with all sorts of colors the moment she touched it.
"What is it?" she asked in wonder.
"Tis a Psychron Crystal marm," an old tabby replied from behind the desk, "looks like you got a bit of an active mind if y'know what I mean."
The old cat laughed, "Just don't go peekin' inside this tom's noodle, deal?"
Aven gave the cat a blank stare then looked at the Doctor.
"What's that supposed to mean?"

He took her shoulder "Yeah, let's carry on" he directed her across the bazaar. the Doctor then stopped at a banana stand. And immediatly bought a banana stalk. Which he immediatly started to munch on.

"Hey, no really, what did that cat mean?" she asked as she followed him and then he had to go and buy a bunch of bananas, "Oh you're a sick, sick man."
She said sidestepping away from the banana-eating weirdo.

"Why sick?" The Doctor said with a full mouth of bananas. He had no idea what she was talking about. All he knew at the moment was how good these bananas were.

Aven shook her head. He was slightly adorable when talking with his mouth full.
"Bananas are disgusting. You get a perfectly decent strawberry yogurt and then some dang fool has to go and add a banana to it... it ruins everything!" she huffed as she reached into her pocket and realized she had no money from this era. "Hey, how did you buy that without cash? It's not like you carry money from every era is it?"

"I have my sources" he said while glaring at her after what she had said about bananas. How dare she. Bananas are good.

Aven raised an eyebrow at the man. She then spotted another jewelry stand.
"Fine, don't tell me," she said looping her arm around his and dragging him to the nearest stand which had a multitude of sparks suspended inside glass pendants, "Oooh, what are they? She asked poking at the glass in wonder."

Aven blinked.
"That's a mouthful..." she said with a soft chuckle. The permanent sparks kept emitting light without burning our. She quickly turned to him, "I want one. Can I have it?"

"Why would you have so many are they useful?" she said tactfully ignoring the fact that he was gorging himself on bananas while he'd had a hissy fit because she ate ONE pear.

"There fun to throw in supernova's. A bit like fireworks but a lot more colorful and grander." he said while smiling to himself remembering one of his times throwing all those crystals into a supernova.

It took Aven a moment for her to realize he was telling the truth. She chuckled and shook her head ruefully.
"Oh you're a riot," she said noting how the gaunt look in his eyes seemed to have faded somewhat, "so tell me then, what happened to the human race in the last five billion years? Did we evolve? Did we colonize the galaxy? Did we create an edible frozen burrito yet?"

"A lot of stuff happened. You have moved throughout the galaxy. You colonized the moon and mars. But you can't colonize on most planets with species already. No offense but a lot of species don't fancy humans on there planet."
