Azzo froze when the feeling of youma crept up. Here? Seriously? His eyes twitched around the ball room. Azzo shook his head as he moved trying to avoid youma. He should've brought that damned gun blade, he was trying to move but it was almost impossible. "Lilly, Get out of here!" He barked at the girl, turning his head towards her, "I'll keep the monsters on me." He gave swift orders.
However his eyes caught sight of a girl in the center of the room. She seemed to be knocked out, his brows furrowed. He was torn between helping her and getting the hell out of there.
Damnit for him not being able to help properly take down Youma. However, instead of running out Azzo grabbed the nearest platter hopeful it wasn't cheap plastic. He could keep some of the smaller youma at bay, which happened to be running towards him, he threw the platter at it.

At the initial spectical, Bell and Xavier stopped their dance lessons. Bell watched with furrowed brows, concern evident. Bell became keenly aware of her henshin pen. When the room began to shake with power, That was when Bell seemed to suddenly disappear without explanation, other than, 'This isn't good!' or something like that, before running to find a place to henshin - she'd worry about explanations later. However, seeing as other civilians were fleeing, she could easily follow that excuse. She could play the scared civilian act. -- Soon, Bellatrix, Super Senshi of Fortitude was on the scene. She was greatly moved by the visage of the one who looked so much like their princess, or at least that is who she thought she was. It was in her aura, Bell felt, and so she didn't question it any further. Bellatrix's heart beat fiercely, and she was keenly aware of the adrenaline that filled her. “The crystal... you must get the Crystal!”For once, Bellatrix didn't need the why. She just acted. Or attempted to-- Through the youma and the fleeing civilians, Bellatrix had to try, doing all that was necessary. For their princess, and that smile of confidence she shared with all her people. She did not want to fail her princess. No. She had to try to the best of her ability. If she tried her best and failed, she was sure that her princess could forgive her. But she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if she didn't give it her damnedest.

Mr. Stark didn't have to be told twice. He didn't even have to think twice (one could argue that Tony Stark never really thought twice anyway). Before the Maybe-You-Should-Think-About-What-Vera's-Feeling complex in her brain could even begin processing the situation, Janice had yanked her companion behind a nearby table that one of the youma had knocked over, and in the next instant Captain Uranophane was leaping back out into the fray.
This was a direct order from Queen Beryl. And even though she didn't know what the exact significance of the crystal was, it did not take much higher reasoning to understand that it was pretty ******** significant. She dashed towards the center of the room, fists and feet a-blazing at anyone who so much as got in her peripheral vision.

Kat immediately shot up from the chair she was sitting in against the wall of the ballroom. Holy s**t, was this seriously happening here? A billion and one thoughts ran through her head, before finally coming to a realization: she had her henshin pen in her pocket. She literally kicked off her heels, mentally apologizing to anyone they may have been kicked at, and ran through the first random door she found. She closed her eyes, whipped out her pen and with everything she had she muttered “Leto Power, Make-up”. This was only the second time she’d ever henshined up, and she felt just as lost and confused this time around.
But obviously there was no time for confusion right now. She ran back out into the ballroom and once her eyes set sight on the crystal that the princess was talking about, she made a run for it. Attacks could wait, clearly this could not.
EDIT: ((Just a note that I'm heading off now, anyone can feel free to puppet Leto a little if she's in the way! Will reply in the morning~))

Adira was practiced at getting out of large events quickly and quietly, it came with the social training. So when the reassuring smile of the Ancient Lady hit her face, she knew what to do almost immediately. Dissapearing into the crowd, gold and white dress hid in a deserted enclave of the hall. "Perseus Power, Make-Up!" Her transformation didn't seem to go fast enough this time around, but in actuality she was Sailor Perseus, Sailor of Illusion in only a few seconds.
She didn't know what was going on, but her instincts told her that the crystal meant something, and so she went for that. Lunging through the crowd (which was now significantly easier without a ballgown) Perseus made a try for the crystal, eyes set solely on the gem. She would fight for it!

She had known that this s**t was jacked up. After that corn maze, she should have listened to her instincts more keenly instead of writing it off as a light show. Something was happening, something big, and Delphine was just relieved that she was here to do whatever it was that she needed to do. Thank god that Damon hadn't shown up to the ball, she would have been more focused on protecting him than anything else. As it was, Delphine really had more important things to worry about.
All hell had broken loose, and youma and Negaversers alike were filling the ballroom. The few last minutes of calm had gone by without Delphine even noticing, she had been bored with the ball and still snacking on those little cheese cubes. Now that things had seemed to have gone to hell, she was given something to do, and she was quick to take action. The young woman ducked underneath the snack table, the tablecloth concealing her. It would have been a good hiding spot for some of the humans, for however long it took until the youma finally sniffed them out.
"Nemesis Planetary Power, Make-Up!"
Ah, now that was better. No need to fear, Nemesis was here! ...Wait, maybe that was a good reason to start fearing. She slipped out from underneath the table, her long butt-bow trailing after her, the edges just skimming above the tiled floor. Her objective was that crystal, and Nemesis was too damned determined to let anything get in her way. Someone probably should have stopped to help out the normal civilians, but they were pushed to the back of her mind as her objective became more and more clear.
She started at a run, dodging past bodies, trying not to trip over some bumbling idiot as she made her way towards the center of that ballroom, and that crystal.

Ugh, he had wanted ONE night off. He rarely took them these days, for once he wanted to work all the time. But today? today had been a free day full of fun! He was dressed as Anakin Skywalker for cripe's sake!
Well, Anakin -did- have a dark side...didn't he?

Scheelite no longer understood the word 'failure'. He was gunning for the top and lord help anyone that got in his way, senshi or fellow Negaverser alike. Captain status wasn't enough, he wouldn't rest til a higher rank was his...or he was dead. Hopefully he wouldn't be dead.
Getting that crystal seemed like a good way to further his trip into Nega-fame.
The blonde captain burst out of his hiding place, shoes pounding the floor as he beelined it straight for the center of the room.

Someone was getting far too close to Uranophane for comfort.
It was a senshi. A senshi with an oddly ragged fuku, and blue-tipped black hair. Not that this Negaverser cared at that moment what the senshi looked like. All she was concerned with was whether she was close enough to punch in the face.
Turned out she was.
"GET THE <********> OUT OF MY WAY!"

Vera had been about to reply to the girl who'd complimented her and Janice on their costumes when something went horribly wrong. That, of course, was probably not all that unusual in Destiny City anymore, and it was with a certain amount of resigned bemusement that she found herself behind a table. Of course that would be Janice's first reaction - Get Vera To Safety.
It did serve as a convenient way for one Vera Valentine to disappear and one Sailor Vivianite to take her place, but it was perhaps less than fortuitous because Vera had something she really wanted to tell Janice. A direct command from Queen Beryl was more important, however, and the corrupted senshi hesitated for only an instant before throwing herself into the mad dash for the crystal.
Vivianite was very confused, though. Why did the crystal feel...familiar?

Kaatje had had only a few minutes to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the ball; she had been about to approach Luke, who was wearing a dress, to pick at him for the ridiculous costume. (Her time spent patrolling with him had made her pretty familiar with the golden-haired boy's stride, and thus made the outfit rather transparent). And then the light had exploded, and someone was ordering her to get a crystal? It was a kind order, but it was still an order, and one she felt strongly about obeying--for no good reason.
A red crystal. She slipped away, quickly, henshined up and then dashed forward, towards where she'd seen the red light. But there were so many other people in the way; she shoved past civilians, she elbowed senshi--she just had to get to the crystal, didn't she?

Oh, <********> it!!
Well, that wasn't really Elegancia's thought, because she didn't even have that word in her vocabulary, but she was pretty miffed that youma couldn't follow the rules. They weren't supposed to be here tonight!! She had half a mind to tell that Beryl woman a thing or two, you know, but then she heard her Queen's voice.
Was it... Serenity? The face certainly didn't match the voice, but nonetheless, she was aware of who it was. The visage of their beautiful queen was fleeting, but the sight of her was enough to incite strength in Elegancia. Or maybe it was just the slight-inebriation that she wasn't aware she had.
At any rate, the copper brunette turned to Gloria, then frowned. "Well, it's been really lovely, but we need to get out of here." She pointed behind the ape-woman (and her man body) at an exit, then threw a thumb behind her towards a different exit. "You go out that way," she said, "and I'll go out this one." Elegancia turned tail to dash away, but stopped and added, "looks like your plus one lucked out tonight!" As she continued off, Elegancia couldn't help but feel like she was on fire.
Everything felt great!! Nothing could stop her tonight!!
As the civilians made their way out, some being picked off by hideous youma, Elegancia ducked beneath a clothed table and squeaked out her transformation incantation. No longer the lovely and beautiful Elegancia, but the luscious and vivacious Sailor Rosalind, she stood up recklessly (knocking the table over in the process) and looked around at all the chaos the youma were sowing across the once-beautiful masquerade.
"Perseus?! Perseus!!" She looked to and fro, her head feeling fuzzy the entire time, but too many youma crowded her. It was suffocating! Rosalind grew impatient, called out her attack incantation, and snapped her fingers. Silver coins began to cascade out of the ceiling, which was a good distance from the floor, and onto everything below. When they actually reached a target, man, it stung. The coins did not discriminate; if you were unlucky enough to be beneath one, you were going to be pelted.
Rosalind skillfully dodged youma attacks and side-stepped civilians daintily, but tripped when she saw the girl and her crystal. Wow, that felt... weird. She picked herself up, was pelted in the arm by one of her own coins, and dashed towards the crystal as soon as she could.
The Soldier of Wealth would show her Queen just how amazing and elegant she was!!

-Aurora had been smiling sweetly at a tall and pleasant looking young man, just getting ready to join the stranger in a dance when suddenly the pleasantness of the night was shattered.
At first she couldn't see what was going on, standing on her tiptoes to try and find out the commotion regarding the girl and the sudden light. But any questions she had were quickly answered by the images that filled the ballroom, both horrifying and beautiful. Her eyes settled on the princess, she felt that longing ache and sense of duty. As soon as the two disappeared Aurora was running.
She dipped into a doorway and reappeared a moment later, not looking too incredibly different then she had before. Sliding back into the ballroom Sailor Polaris tried to gauge the situation. Civilians were being attacked and they needed to be protected. But the crystal...
The queens orders had to take precedent, but she'd try her best to help any civilians or senshi who needed help as she made her way towards the center of the room. Unfortunately.. her power was a bit dangerous for the situation.-

Even Senri was drawn by the commotion, an inexplicable yearning at the sight of their princess. Even he, who had rejected his duty felt the compelling urge to listen to her. "..Not even one break." Senri said, half exasperated, half amused. For the not very first time, Senri wondered if fate really had things screwed for the senshi and negaverse of the city. I'll remember this, you negaverse bastards. Senri was more then a bit annoyed.
Nevertheless, he navigated through the running crowds of Destiny's teenage population, finding a deserted hallway. "Zephyr Power, Make up!" He re-emerged with his sailor fuku in hand, getting back into the ballroom. The only things left in that ballroom would be the youma, negaverse, and senshi, and perhaps a few stray civilians that were foolish enough to stay or being hindered by the youma. "I don't have time for you at the moment." He said, kicking a youma squarely in the mouth with the heel of his boot.
The crystal was their objective, right? He hardly cared for the girl at the center of it all. He really didn't have time for this, he thought to himself, using a broken table leg from all the commotion, to bat away another youma. It would take hima bit of time to reach the center, with this many obstacles, but he was intent on doing so.

The crowd parted in the pandemonium long enough for Audrey to catch a glimpse of Elzo before it swallowed him again. She didn't have the time to really worry about him after Beryl had appeared in the center of the ballroom like that, looking almost to her very soul in order to grip it with dire need. It wasn't hard to slip in a brisk walk behind the sound equipment, and where the blue-haired swan princess had walked in, the general walked out.
"Grab it, and I cut your quota for the month." Her voice rang out across the space through the microphone at the DJ booth, who didn't love a bit of incentive? If they had whatever the hell that thing was, maybe the queen wouldn't even care that she did it! Either way, Linarite was prepared to wade into the fray. If she was very lucky, she might even walk out with a senshi seed or two!
A flick of her staff in a rapid movement had the ball flying out to the senshi hand she saw closest to the gem, aiming to smack it painfully before it flew back to hover inside its magical field. The day would be theirs!
