Death   Death nodded, holding Life tightly and causing them to disappear from the room.
"I'm so sorry...." he said softly. He fell to his knees in front of her, his tears fresh as he started to shake anew. He didn't know what else to say, but knew that he had come so close to losing her.

Death Death shook his head, holding onto Life, shaking and sobbing.
"I can't... I can't let you berate yourself... It was my fault... I knew, I didn't tell you... I didn't want you to suffer like that..." he cried. His body wouldn't stop trembling. Something seemed to be happening. A tiny groan escaped him, and he fell against Life, his entire body shaking.

Life tried to slow her breathing down, to try and help them both calm down by calming herself. She looked down at Death, a small smile playing across her lips. "Death, I am your wife, we are connected. I should have known, or at least felt something. I didn't feel anything until Mia told me about it, and then I started to feel myself slowly slipping. I had already been weak because of where I had been, but I started to grow weaker." Life ran her fingers through Death's hair, trying to sooth him, sending him not only her love but also a small burst of her energy. She became worried when he groaned and fell against her, shaking in her arms. "D-Death, whats wrong? Tell me what I can do to ease your pain...p-please love, please..."

Death Death reached up and touched Life's face, his eyes a bit dull from the pain and fear.
"My... It's from me reverting to my old self..." he said, still shaking. Something was happening within his body, but he knew it was from him reverting to his old self.

Death Death shook in her arms, and he wanted to help Life as much as he could.
"I don't know... I don't know what to do..." he said, trying to figure it out, but the pain was causing him too much agony to actually function.

Death Death was still shaking, but the pain in his mind had abated enough to let Life know what to do.
"No Life, taking my pain isn't what to do. It's a special potion..." he said, before he cried out in pain. He shook and tightened his hold on Life's hand, barely able to say that there was some remaining potion from the last time this had happened in his office.

Death Death shook his head, turning and kissing her deeply as he did.
"Nothing my love, my Life... Just stay here with me, always... You and our son... Never leave... Never let me become that which I fear again..." he whispered brokenly.

Death Death nodded and followed Life to where she motioned, then sat down in the chair. Watching as Life picked up their son and cradled him to her chest, Death whispered a spell that started the potion putting itself together downstairs in their cellar.
"It has begun... Now it will only be a few days before we have more of it..." he said quietly and then went over to Life, touching a very gentle hand to Thanatos' forehead.
